SEALYHAM JUDGE SKC OCTOBER 24

Thank you to the secretary and committee for my invitation to judge at this double championship show, to my efficient stewards and to the exhibitors for their quality entry. I was honoured to judge at this show and enjoyed my day.

PGD (1,0)

1 Hemstock’s Jolihem Mad Eye Moody – still in junior at only 16 months, promising youngster, well balanced with good proportions, lovely head with good strength of muzzle and correct bite, well laid shoulders, level topline, deep chest but needs more substance through body, correct tailset, lovely coat, moved well RBD

OD (1,0)

1 Bell’s Ch Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson at Letara – well known top quality male I have judged before and the same comments apply, he is still impressive and did not disappoint as he was in excellent form, moved and handled well, such a showman and credit to the breed BD, BOB

PB (2,0)

1 Bell’s Whooperhill Serendipity For Letara – eyecatching 10 month old puppy with great potential, feminine and well constructed with a balanced outline, nicely domed skull, good shoulders, well ribbed for age, lovely topline, wiry coat coming through, moved and showed well BP, RBB,

2 Williams’ Zippor Pumpkin Princess – another promising puppy at just 6 months of age, lovely breed type, feminine head and sweet expression, raw at present, with furnishings to grow on and body needing to mature, but this youngster has such potential, moved so well for one so young with lovely reach and drive

PGB (1,0)

1 Hemstock’s Jolihem Loony Luna – litter sister to dog at 16 months of correct size and type, feminine head with lovely expression, good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, level topline, excellent coat, just needs more substance through body, moved ok

OB (3,2)

1 Hampson’s Saore On A Sunrise High (Imp Ita) – attractive bitch of correct type, liked her overall proportions with good bone and substance, pleasing head with sweet expression, correct bite, lovely neck and shoulders, well ribbed, level topline, correct tailset, harsh well presented coat, moved true with drive BB
