Although not a large entry I thought there was quality throughout the classes. Gave me plenty of options and made me think. It is good to see the breeds dentition is improving. More worryingly, as with other terrier breeds, the numbers are in decline and all seem to be clustered around the top classes. I thank all for their entries. VD (1) 1 Fallon & Fallon’s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson JW ShCM. A lovely dog to start with, at 11 years of age he still demands your attention and was always on his toes. Smart through head, small ears and clean eye. Ample neck, good topline, strong and tail well set. Lovely angulation throughout with excellent rear. Put down in good coat and order. Moved with purpose around the ring. BV. YD (1) 1 Satherley & Satherley’s Silkcroft Game Changer. 12 mths old. Smart youngster. Clean through head, bright eye, tidy small ears and good strong bite. He really impressed on the move, striding out, good front extension and drive from behind in a flowing movement. Be interesting to seem him matured, as at present he lacks the required substance. PGD (2, 1) 1 Charleton’s House Of Softy Indus (Imp Swe). 20 mths. Good substance for age. Liked his head, ears and bright eye. Decent topline, tailset ok and good rear angles.Smart Jacket. I judged this young man as a puppy when he was first introduced to the showring, I thought he was a star then and it was an easy decision to award him Best Puppy in Show, in fantastic competition. Now at 4 years old, what a delight he is to go over. Now matured, he fits the standard to a T. Full of substance, great bone, well ribbed, strength in abundance and good muscletone. Short coupled with strong loin. Very pleasing through head, with correct dentition, clean eye, nicely sized and placed ears. Stood four square with well let down hocks. Well presented with a good texture of jacket. Very typical in movement, covering the ground in an easy stride. Delighted to award him the DCC & BOB. Looked and went well in the group ring. 2 Thoburn’s Northridge Me And Tennessee. 4 year old male. Stood four square, compact and well bodied. Nothing exaggerated.
