SOFT COATED WHEATEN BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 12 Judge(s) MRS MARGARET HOUSE DCC SNOWMEADOW NUMINOUS NIILO SHCM (MRS B & MR G LAWRENCE) Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers I would like to thank the exhibitors for their support and the Show Society for their hospitality. Just a few observations for handlers. please ensure your dog is standing correctly, it makes all the difference at decision time in the line up. Heads: Ear sets are improving but too many have little or no stop which detracts from the correct expression. Unfortunately, being 2nd in the ring, the start of judging was delayed and some of the dogs in later classes lost their sparkle. I did penalise bad bites (a perennial cry I know!) although the majority were good, also size varies considerably, those of correct height are looking small against some of their competition.
