SOFT COATED WHEATEN BORDER UNION 14 Judge(s): MRS M PASTUSZKA Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers JD (2) 1 Howe’s Daisymaes Enforcer, nice compact dog, neat head with great pigment, excellent teeth, all angles, good moved well; 2 Satherley’s Sam Shamrock De Morrigan of Silkcroft, giving away a lot on maturity as only 11 months. Good balance, nice head, preferred his earset to 1, good coat for age, not the drive of 1. BP. LD (6) 1 Ross’ Modny Style Non Stop, 2½ years. Loved this dog! Overall balance excellent, coat colour & texture good, super masculine head with excellent pigment, great bite, & nice earset. Great reach of neck. Just wished he had moved a bit faster so we could see his full potential. RCC; 2 Mapson’s Abiqua Wild Jack Of Hearts, 18 months so giving a lot away, liked him very much, his coat is still light in colour, hopefully this will come as he will take some beating! Fabulous head, neat ears, excellent pigment & bite. Good angles front & rear, moved very well & pushed 1 hard; 3 Wright’s Kariskye Horrid Henry for Abbeymead. OD (5,1a) 1 Dunhill Hall’s Ch Fantasa Blonde Neville, exemplary movement! Lovely masculine head with great pigment & bite, neat ears, strong neck leading into excellent shoulders, good angles front & rear, lovely texture & colour to coat. I judged this dog as a minor puppy & gave him the RCC, so pleased he has fulfilled his earlier promise! CC, BOB & G4 in a quality terrier group! 2 Pascoe’s Middlebury Shooting Star, lovely clean presentation on this male. Overall balance, correct textbook topline, good movement; 3 Mapson’s Zaraslake Sirocco. VD 1 Lawrence’s Ch Snowmeadow Nilo, looks great for his age, excellent free movement, good colour & texture to his coat, lovely masculine head with great pigment & bite, again I would like to have seen him move a tad faster as I liked him a lot. PB (4) 1 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Julia, very naughty little girl, excellent balance all through, lovely colour & texture to her coat. In the challenge for BP she packed up altogether, what a shame, persevere with her she is worth it! 2 Phillips & Gullick’s Jaeva Just Peachy, another very nice puppy, just preferred overall balance & colour of 1 at this stage. Great balance, feminine head, great pigment, moved well; 3 Macgregor’s Kirtonhill What I Believe. NB 1 Lui’s Thistebe Them There Eyes, pretty head with good pigment. Ears could be a tad smaller, angles good front & rear. PGB (2) 1 Wright’s Kariskye Tip Top Too Ticky to Abbeymead, good coat colour which gave her the class, good pigment, dark eyes, would just prefer a smaller package, moved well; 2 Moran’s Abiqua Wild She’s By Design, much more the type & balance I like, unfortunately her coat is still very pale, she still has time for this to come through. I hope so as she is worth it! LB (4) 1 Hobson & Bradford’s Abiqua Wild Wrapped In Ivy, lovely bitch! Excellent balance, gorgeous head & pigment, & she can move! Coat again could have more colour but it’s coming, then watch out! CC; 2 McIntyre’s Keridown Thistle Be Good, very nice bitch, a tad longer than 1, lovely head with neat ears & great pigment, again a stylish mover; 3 McFerran’s Kirktonhill Look No Further. OB (7) What a class! 1 Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Colour Of Magic, very feminine. Lovely head with great pigment, well presented, good angles front & rear, great mover! RCC; 2 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blond Lilley, again a super feminine bitch, just needs more time after her litter, a lovely bitch; 3 Moran’s Abiqua Wild In A Satin Sash. VB 1 Dowdy’s Ch Denzilly Toot Sweet, hard to believe this lady is a veteran, she was still showing the youngsters how to move! In the challenge for the BV, the dog did not turn up so the bitch was automatically best. MOLLIE PASTUSZKA |
