SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE BORDER UNION 15
I was very pleased with the selection of dogs entered for me to judge. Going over them on the day, I was more than happy with the type and conformity, with all of them presented well and in good order. I would still like to see smaller ears though. Dog showing is all about the “dog on the day”. If everything comes together it's a real bonus for the dog, the handler, and the judge. Not having any Wheatens in the house at the moment made the day special for me. I am just as besotted as I ever was! Thank you.
PS. It was most gratifying to hear that my BOB managed to repeat the whole performance five days later under another breed judge. Well done indeed!
