SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERRIER

JD

1 Francis' Amaricy Buffalo Soldier. 14 mth masculine chap. Flat skull, good stop, clean cheeks. Big nose and jaw with plenty of room to house big white teeth. Compact and well bodied, silky coat. Full of exuberance, with positive action.

PGD

1 Maleary's Saffini Teenage Sensation. Two decent young lads, not surprised to learn they are siblings. Second has lots of attributes and quality and could end up the better, but today he was not concentrating and did not display his positives to advantage, which his brother did. Whilst first, who is masculine, clean with typical outline, strength and clean lines, showed all this to great advantage. He had the edge in movement, which is easy, ground covering, holding his shape, therefore clinched the winning position.

2 Purser's Saffiniteenage Dreams.

OD

What a good class.

1 Dunhill's Ch Fantasa Blonde Kaos. The complete, sound picture standing and his exacting footfall and economical ground covering side gait, which secured him this win and BD. Could only be male with clean and flowing outline, strong compact body. Great head of good length with flat skull, ears set right and v shaped falling just right. Has length and strength in muzzle. Arched reachy neck, firmest of toplines. Well muscled quarters with low hock and correct angulation. Perfect presentation of quality coat.

2 Johnson's Se UCh Seamrog Cactus Lime At Garsayno. Perhaps just not the total smooth action on the day but a dog who shows great type and promise. He is just so balanced with correct skeletal construction. His coat is of correct silky soft texture. Has firm topline and carries himself as his make and shape dictate he would. Cracking chap who I feel, the best is yet to come. Res BD.

3 Satherley's Elkis Aquila Of Silkcroft (Imp Swe).

PB

1 Earl's Kinaelan Cabiai. 10 mth, feminine pretty bitch. Liked her for size, well set, expressive eye, good ear, flowing lines with decent spring of rib for age, short loin with width, good croup to tail set, a real sound youngster who goes with character. Very promising. BP.

PGB

1 Barrett's Saffini Truly Madly Deeply. Soundly constructed, smart and lovely order and coat. Performed to make the best of herself. Big nose, good pigmentation. Grand expression. Well proportioned.

2 Wardle's Saffini Yours Truly. Decent type, make and shape. Good for size and balance. Just not holding herself together on the move or could have been a different result.

OB(4, 1)

Again the open class has quality and finish. Third placed a little frustrating as she just did not want to be here.

1 Withington's Ch Fantasa Blonde Lilley. As these two quality girls of correct size and shape both have an abundance of attributes they fought a close run battle and therefore ended up Best and Reserve. Just preferred the width of buttock and power from behind of winner, which swung the vote in her direction. She was immaculate in presentation but not too sculptured, to lose the inherent breed type. Just each part in harmony throughout with most appealing head, eye and ear set, the arch of her well muscled neck, forehand has the angulation to provide free straight action, works at one with unobtrusive handler. A class act. BB and BOB.

2 Satherley's Tobamorrey Sitting Pretty At Silkcroft JW ShCM. As said previously, very close to winner, lovely size and style. Res BB.

Breeders Class

1 Barrett's. You could see the type and balance in these exhibits, they were all in super coat and worked the ring well together.

2 Munn's Snowmeadow Oolla O'Luna.
