SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 17

PD (4, 1)

1 Withington's Fantasa Blonde Rufus. Impressive, powerful, masculine dog, very well developed and with a rarely attractive silhouette, what a good start to the day! Strong head, well proportioned, does not need to grow on. Lovely neck into shoulder, ideal topline, well set tail. Balanced angulation in both ends. Moved soundly and effortlessly and kept his balance at all times. Excellent colour, his coat has already come a long way. A dog with an excellent future. Res CC and Best Puppy.

2 Thoburn's Northridge Me And Tennessee. Another attractive dog with excellent quality, well proportioned, if not small. Beautiful head, well chiselled, lovely expression. Pleasing ears. Excellent neck. Rather straight in his upper arm and lost out on this. Excellent topline. Correct coat quality. Light on his feet and well synchronized, he also kept his balance on the move.

3 Wray's Giuseppe Colombo.

PGD (3, 2)

1 Satherley & Johnstone's Cameron Fighting Spirit For Silkcroft (Imp). Elegant, well proportioned dog. Head on the refined side. His ears are of excellent size, but he could use them more consistently. Pleasing neck. Very moderately angulated in both ends. Firm topline, well set tail. Coat under development. He looked his best standing, even if he kept his balance on the move, his movement was rather restricted in both ends.

LD (2)

Two very different dogs.

1 Dunhill-Hall's Mother's Finest Jon Snow At Fantasa (Imp). A very powerful, masculine, sound and well constructed dog. Head not his fortune, needs more finesse and less pronounced cheeks, rather heavy ears. Excellent neck, well set. Well angulated in both ends. Firm topline, well set tail. Well developed in his body, deep and capacious. He stood very firmly over his legs and feet and moved soundly from all directions. I would prefer his coat somewhat more silky at this age.

2 Tilley's Janeyjimjams Jubilee Star At Starzak ShCM. Elegant dog, very square. Well chiselled head, moderately long. Acceptable neck. Moderately angulated in front. Rather short hindquarters with less than moderate angulation, making him rather high behind. Acceptable mover from the side. He scored in coat quality over the winner.

OD (7)

1 Dowdy & Dowdy's Ch Greentree Gold Mombo To Denzilly (Imp). Well developed young dog with lovely proportions and a powerful, masculine overall appearance. Well proportioned, quality head, good ears. Attractive nape of neck, he showed pride and confidence. Balanced angulation both ends. Firm topline, acceptable tail carriage. Pleasing coat structure, still under development. Moved very well from the side, as well as sound coming and going. I was pleased to award him the CC.

2 Meister & Brooks' Ch Silkcroft Crests Of Waves. Instantly attractive, well proportioned dog with beauty and quality. Well shaped and chiseled quality head. Attractive neck. Excellent topline and tail. Beautiful coat. He moved well coming and going, but I would prefer more extension behind.

3 Thoburn's Northridge Gotan Go.

PB (1)

1 Lawrence's Keevasdream Red Velvet. Very feminine bitch, immature both mentally and physically and needs to grow up on her legs for mature balance. Elegant head, good bite and ears. Moderate neck. Quite pleasing topline. Coat under development. Needs to be more accessible in temperament. Not keen to move, but when she did, she used her legs well, but needed to be more proud of her tail.

JB (1)

1 Satherley, Meister & Brooks' Silkcroft Some Magic Rose. Attractive bitch, well proportioned and with a lovely outline. Quality, well chiseled head, very good ears. Long neck. Moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. Firm topline. Coat under development, but with silky structure coming through. Moved very well from the side and front the front, but needs to stabilise as seen from behind.

PGB (3, 1)

1 Mackenzie's Linatina Kiss On The Chic. Well proportioned, upstanding bitch. Her head has good length, but more stop than my ideal. Attractive neck. Moderately angulated both ends. Firm topline. Coat under development, but silky on head and legs. Moved with a pleasing balance and full of temperament and humour. Sound as seen from behind and moving out well from the side.

2 Atyeo's Kanjuley Scarlet Rose. Bitch of excellent size. Rather plain in head. Normal neck. Excellent topline and tailset. Excellent coat quality. She moved quite well coming and going, but needed more drive from the side.

LB (7)

1 Jefferies' Frontline Simply Beautiful. A very attractive, top quality bitch with lovely proportions, type and coat - she had it all. Beautiful head and expression, quite good ears. Long neck. Balanced angulation in front and behind, even if on the moderate side in front. Excellent topline and reasonable tailset. Typical soft and silky coat. Very well handled, she moved particularly well from the side, with energy and pride and at all times keeping her balance and outline, not perfect as seen from behind, but more than good enough to win the CC & BOB.

2 Gale's Flaxela Drop Dead Gorgeous JW.Another bitch with a particularly attractive, sharp, terrier-type profile. Quality, well chiseled and feminine head, could do with a softer coat on head. Excellent neck and topline, well set and carried tail. Quite pleasing body coat, still under development as for structure. She moved with soundness if not quite up to the winner in profile.

3 Lawrence's Kinaelan Finlandia Gaia (ai).

OB (11)

1 Satherley's Silkcroft Sky Full Of Stars ShCM Ir J Ch. Lovely, feminine bitch with style, type and presence. Well proportioned and elegant. Attractive, feminine head. Long neck, firm topline. Balanced angulation in front and behind. Moved quite parallel both ends and with style and balance from the side. Acceptable coat quality. Res CC.

2 Munn's Snowmeadow Peggy Phurrari JW ShCM. Quite big bitch, still feminine. She is somewhat longer cast than my ideal, but scored heavily in soundness, both standing and moving. Lovely ears. Strong and arched neck, well set into shoulders. Well angulated both ends. Exceptionally good mover from all angles. Pleasing coat structure.

3 Herbert's Calvenace She's The One At Julibidd.

VB (2)

1 Bristow's Kellynack Viva La Passione For Avard. Attractive bitch, excellent size and proportioned and lovely temperament. Well chiselled head, pleasing ears. Moderate neck. Firm topline, deep and capacious body. Correct coat quality. Moved quite well from the side, she had energy, but was rather bow legged behind.

2 Ford's Kanjuley Scarlet And Gold. Powerful and big bitch, scoring in strength over femininity. Acceptable head, rather heavy ears. Good neck. Firm topline, well set tail. Quite good coat. Not the energy of the winner in movement.
