SOFT COATED WHEATEN BOURNEMOUTH 21 Judge: Mrs J Lilley SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 21 PGD (3) 1 Charleton’s House Of Softy Indus (Imp Swe). Well balanced, in good coat with excellent layback of shoulder and spring of rib with firm muscular quarters, very good mover. Just 20 months and already a most impressive happy showman and this despite the lack of shows and social experience during the series of lockdowns. 2 Cartwright’s Saffini We Will Rock You. Good head with neat ears, he too has a good layback of shoulder with a particularly well set and carried tail. He went with a will. 3 Hookway’s Denzilly Golden Compass. 1 Instance’s Keevasdream White Knight. Clad in a coat of true ripening wheat, well conformed and balanced with level topline, good shoulders and bend of stifle, in hard muscular condition. He moved with enthusiasm and drive. 2 Taylor’s Eblanahalls Silk Beard At Raisingsands. Just a touch longer in muzzle than the winner, good topline, in excellent coat. Good steady mover. 3 Grimes Watson & Watson’s Janeyjimjams Jem Devlin. 1 Withington’s Ch Fantasa Blonde Rufus. A hard choice between two outstanding dogs. Mature and masculine, excellent for size, type, make and shape, in full coat with well set and carried tail. This fellow has a well shaped head and bright dark expressive eye. Expertly handled to make the most of his energetic reach and drive on the move. CC. 2 Dowdy’s Ch Greentree Gold Mombo To Denzilly (Imp USA). So impressive and well balanced, lovely head, eye and expression, he moved to match the excellence of his conformation. Just chose to be a mite over-enthusiastic with his albeit well set non-stop wagging tail at times. Not only such a handsome fellow but obviously busily stamping his type firmly being sire of not only the BOB but the winners of LB, PB and PGD. A record of which to be proud. RCC. 3 Barrett’s Safini Shining Star. 1 Taylor’s Silverluke Superstition At Raisingsands. 19 month old bitch with coat of lovely texture, clearing well. Good layback of shoulder, topline and tailset, head, eye and expression. She braved it out at first and moved well but then, hardly surprisingly, the deafening tannoy put paid to any later enthusiasm. Good for size and type. Her turn will surely come. 1 Ward’s Denzilly I Put a Spell on You. Just six months old and as confident as they come with tail constantly awag. Already in splendid mature coat for her age with excellent shoulder, topline and turn of stifle, scoring here on spring of rib. A most attractive showgirl, moving extremely well if understandably a touch babyish in front. She is something very special. BP. 2 Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Blonde Wonder Woman. Just six months, sympathetically handled and trying her best to brave it out with good topline, layback of shoulder and well set tail. Moved just enough to prove she can go beautifully. Only needs maturity and extra confidence to enhance her undoubted qualities. 1 Black & White’s Celtannia Madame. Currently transitioning in coat of lovely silky texture. Good head, eye and topline. Eventually used her tail despite the seemingly constant overloud announcements over tannoy. Well balanced with excellent layback of shoulder. Good steady mover. 1 Charleton’s House Of Softy Indi Janeyjimjams (Imp Swe). Just 20 months with well coloured coat coming in well. Excellent make and shape, she moved beautifully with well set and carried tail, good topline. Constantly alert. A confident, happy showgirl. 2 Jones’ Silverluke Hotter Than July. 18 months with a good coat of excellent colour of truly ripening wheat. So very feminine with well set and carried tail, in hard muscular condition, she moved well while her handler kindly provided the cabaret of the day, keeping both the ring and the ringside laughing and smiling. 3 S S At Raisingsands. 1 Dowdy’s Denzilly Sweet Cariad. So well balanced and an excellent mover with good layback of shoulder, in beautiful mature coat, lovely head and eye. Just a touch over enthusiastic with her tail. 2 Atyeo’s Kanjuley Scarlet Rose. Five years old and rather pale in colour with good tailset and carriage. A little longer in body than the winner, she moved very well. 3 Gleeson’s Glendowan Golden Brandy. 1 Francis’ Ch Sawheaten Kiss From A Rose. So lovely, typey and well balanced with good topline, in the best of silky coat with excellent tailset and carriage. So good for size and type, make and shape with beautiful head and eye. Happy and enthusiastic, she is a joy to watch on the move, with such good reach and drive. Quite outstanding. CC, her fourth, & BOB. 2 Nunn’s Snowmeadow Suzy Sixpence. A high quality feminine showgirl, well made all through with all the parts fitting firmly and accurately into the whole, she moved to match the excellence of her conformation with good reach in sidegait. So typey, in mature coat of lovely colour. RCC. 3 Witheyman & Satherleys’ Silkcroft Born This Way JW. 1 Atyeo’s Kanjuley Scarlet O’Hara. Well built 8 year old with good spring of rib and layback of shoulder, in hard muscular condition. Excellent topline and ripe wheat coloured coat. Very good mover.
