SOFT COATED WHEATEN CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 14 Judge: Mrs S Tanner BEST OF BREED : 5128 SATHERLEY Mrs C L & Mr C W Ch Silkcroft Colour Of Magic Sh.CM SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 14 Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers 1st Walklins Kellynack Va Va Voltaire. Upstanding male that needs to settle so movement difficult to assess. Very good coloured and textured puppy cost. Liked his head and overall stance, level topline and super tailset. Hope he doesn’t grow on. Beaten by his very appealing sister for BPIB. 3rd Naylor’s Amaricy Bullet Proof. 1st Johnstones Whitevale Motorway Madness. Stood alone. Well balanced and very impressed with his mature coat maturity, texture and colour. A little untidy on the move which let him down. 1st Boasts Denzilly Tickle Me Elmo. I note I previously said that his owners shouldn’t give up on this lad and I am so glad they haven’t. Everything where is should with no exaggerations. Very mature in all aspects especially coat. Best mover of the class – flagged a little in the challenge, a little additional sparkle and ring presence would put him amongst the top awards. 2nd Walklins Kellynack The Pied Piper. Very different in type and presentation. Presents a well balanced outline, mature headpiece, moved okay. Appreciated the silky coat texture but lost out on coat colour. 3rd HOWES Daisymaes Enforcer. 1st HOWES Daisymaes Desmond Decker. This young male has matured so well and gave it his all. Super outline, balanced and four square. Masculine headpiece. He moved with drive and determination which caught my eye when he entered the ring, an excellent showman who sparkled on the day which gave him the edge, in complete tune with his handler and so much enjoying himself. I could not deny awarding him his first CC. 2nd FALLONS Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson. A worthy champion, his qualities abound in coat colour and texture. Longer cast than my winner. I felt he lacked the rear drive and sparkle on the day. 3rd SATHERLEYS Am Ch Haldane Double Down. 1st PURSERS Saffini Teenage Dreams. 1st Williams Kellynack Joie De Vivre. A real sweetheart, topping a class of lovely young ladies. Exactly what a typical PB should look like in my opinion. Perfect for size and balance. Nice puppy coat and the prettiest of heads. Movement was true when she settled. Handler still struggling with holding her tail which spoilt her outline but there is nothing wrong with the set and she held it spot on, on the move. Pleased to aware her BPIB over her brother. 2nd Satherley Silkcroft Work Explorer. Another showing a lot of promise. More mature in outlook, slightly taller and lighter framed than my winner. Lovely silky coat but colour still needing to clear. Slightly unsettled on the day which affected her movement. 3rd Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Julia. 1st ESCOTTS Sidereal Essence of Time. Did everything right on the day. Well balanced with a super coat in both colour and texture. Moved with drive and poise. I would prefer a smaller ear. 2nd Howes Stevelyn Black Magic Woman. I can’t fault her personality and temperament. Balanced and of a nice size with a spot on topline but lacking in coat maturity today. Movement a little unsettled. 1st Wardle Saffini One and Only. Mature young lady, handled very well and in the best of coats. Very balanced with everything in the right place. Moved out with drive to win the class. 2nd Busbys Calvenace Minie HaHa at Zakby. Close up second to my winner. She has a lot to offer and when her movement is steady she can top any class. 3rd Brooks Loofahsa Hip Hop. 1st MUNN'S Snowmeadow Peggy Phurarri. I liked this young lady as a junior and she has blossomed into a lovely young lady. Standing four square, super headpiece balancing substance with feminity. Her coat is in tip top condition and she is trimmed to perfection. She moved with drive both fore and aft to clinch the RCC. 2nd Williams Kinaelan Cachique at Celtannia. Really close up to my winner, one I have admired from the ringside, again blossoming in the last 12 months, very unlucky to meet Peggy on the day. Slightly different in type and outlook but lots to like. Moved true – I would just like to see a little more skirt length. 3rd Walkin & Phillips Jaeva Orange Blossom 2nd Tilleys Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action. A very accomplished young lady. She is a good, honest Wheaten that never puts a foot wrong. Movement is always true. Lovely coat texture just a shade darker would complete the picture. 3rd Wassalls emalot Little Miss Magic.
