SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE CRUFTS 22

Thoroughly enjoyed judging the breed. Bites have improved so much since I last judged them. I was very impressed with the overall standard. I would like to thank my stewards, Shairley Hockenhall and Joe Smith, for their efficiency. Without good stewards where would we be!

VD (4)

1 Mapson’s Ch/Am Ch Abiqua Wild Jack Of Hearts ShCM (Re-imp USA). Nine yr old in great form. Loved his head shape, dark eyes, ample neck, gun barrel front, correct topline, excellent hind quarters, he excelled in movement which tipped the balance for top honours.

2 Fallon’s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson JW ShCM. Eleven yr old in superb coat and condition, liked his make and shape. A pleasure to see him move.

3 Blandford’s Ch Janeyjimjams Joshua.

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Shake It Off. Very promising and smart young dog. For me he has everything to go to the top, the best of fronts, excellent angulation and what a mover.

2 Herbert’s Saffini Smooth Operator At Julibidd. Pleasing make and shape, good bone, legs and feet, moved steadily.

JD (2)

1 Johnstone, Johnstone, Smith & Norman’s Rouxboos Te Rehuta. Nicely balanced young dog with good coat texture, very sound, but owner must stop baiting him when coming as he loses his front movement. Should do well.
