SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE DRIFFIELD 23
Firstly, l would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at your show. A big thanks to my stewards for keeping the ring flowing.
I would also like to thank the exhibitors for such a lovely quality of entry, temperaments in general were brilliant. It was also good to see some quality youngsters coming through which bodes well for our wonderful breed.

Dowdy J & D 1: Ch Greentree Gold Mombo to Denzilly (Imp USA) 7 year old male - it’s been 4 years since I last judged him. A powerfully built boy standing four square with a good head, nice bite, good lay shoulders, and well developed body. A firm top line that he retained on the move. Tail was well set on and carried on top. Moved out with drive coming and going, enjoying every minute, showing himself to to his best advantage. Super mature coat, well deserving of DCC, RBOB & BVIB. Very pleased to see him go VTG1.
Lui Laura Norkott 2: Eblanahalls Aye Right A taller dog with a beautiful Irish type coat, lovely head, large black nose, dark eye, and a kind expression. Strong neck, level top-line held on the move, seemed a little lack lustre on the day.

Gent and Williams 2: Calvenace House of Fun I gave this boy BP 2 years ago. A useful looking dog, small neat ears, excellent dentition with level top line and tail well set. Nice clear coat, stands very square. A smaller male, unfortunately not moving at his best on the day .

Satherley C &C 1: UK Am Can Ch Silkcroft Freeze Frame (Re Import) JW Bel Junior This dog has a neat profile from all angles, nothing exaggerated. Excellent head, strong neck with a lovely short back. Good rear angulation, moves out well and at one with his handler, pushed hard for top honours pleased to award him RDCC.
Satherley C & C 2: Ch Silkcroft Game Changer Smaller dog, but all male. A good head, neat well set ears with good bite. Compact body with muscular rear end, tail carried well and moved with style. Coat needs to mature, however he has plenty of time. Well handled, another lovely dog from this kennel.

Taylor’s J & J 1: Raisingsands Girl in Amber At only 7 months this pup gave a good account of herself. A beautiful soft wavy coat of strong colour, attractive head with good bite and neat ears.
