SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE MANCHESTER 12

SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERRIER

JD (2)

1 Dunhill-Hall's Fantasa Blonde Neville. Well bodied young dog, balanced head, good dentition, straight front, adequate body for age, good coat, good topline and tailset. Moved well going away but at time a touch unsettled coming towards, very good profile movement. Well-handled and presented.

2 Morris Canicula Dylan Thomas. This young man was not as settled on the move as the winner. Expressive head, strong jaw, enough front angulation, good body, well set tail, would prefer a touch more rear angulation. Ok coming towards but a touch close going away.

PGD (2)

1 Pascoe Middlebury Shooting Star. This dog scored in front over the second but the second was better behind. More of an upright type of dog, straight front, would prefer more layback of shoulder, balanced head, adequate body that was firm, could do with more rear angulation as he was a touch stilted in rear action. In good coat and condition, held his outline on the move.

2 Purser Saffini Teenage Dreams. This boy carried a large body and coat, for me he needs a touch more length of leg to balance the picture. Good head, adequate front angulation but tended to stand and move a touch wide in front. Well set and carried tail, good rear angulation. Not the profile movement of the winner.

OD (3)

A good class.

1 Dunhill Ch Fantasa Blonde Kaos. A quality dog who was presented in good order, good coat texture. Strong well balanced head, good dentition, good neck onto well placed shoulders. Straight front, good feet, well-constructed body, correct tailset, adequate rear angulation. Moved true coming and going and gave a good picture in profile, his maturity carried him through to Best Dog BOB and Group 3.

2 Johnson Swed Ch Imp Seamrog Cactus Lime At Garsayno (Imp). Another quality dog who has good natural deportment and presented a good picture, good head and dentition, strong muscular neck onto good shoulders, straight front, muscular body, coat coming along well, good firm topline with good tailset, good hindquarters. Once settled displayed sound movement front and back and gave a good picture in profile. Res Best Dog.

3 Clarke Loofahsa Scaramouche Sh.CM.

PB (3)

1 Clarke Calvenace Fat Bottomed Girl. I judged this little girl earlier in the day and placed her second in the puppy stakes. She scored in outline, correct head with good dentition, straight front, good feet and bone, adequate layback of shoulder, good topline and tailset Moderate rear angulation. Moved with purpose and style. Res Best Bitch & Best Puppy in Breed.

2 Taylor Sweetiweeti Toffee Poppet. She took time to settle but eventually displayed sound movement, balanced head, enough neck, good body and topline, could do with more rear angulation. Not the profile movement of the winner.

3 Moles & Williams Kinaelan Cachique.

JB (2,1)

1 Revis Garsayno Gold Gemma. Expressive head and eye, well off for body, front ok, good topline, but tailset a touch low for me, well ribbed body adequate rear angulation, moved ok coming and going but could do with a touch more drive and animation.

LB (6,2)

1 Wassall Emalot Little Miss Magic. Good head with correct proportions, good front which edged her into first place, firm body, good topline, adequate rear angulation, tailset ok, moved well both ways and retained her topline in profile. In good coat and condition.

2 Tilley Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action JW. Good head and eye, enough neck, a little untidy in front coming towards good bone, could carry a touch more coat to advantage. Adequate rear angulation, move ok going away, retained outline.

3 Griffiths & Griffiths Manawyddan Brigid.

OB (4,3)

1 Withington Ch Fantasa Blonde Lilley. A quality bitch, who was presented in super condition, good overall shape, good legs and feet, well developed body, good tailset, adequate rear angulation, well set tail, good coat. Moved true coming and going and presented a good picture in profile. Best Bitch.
