SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE MANCHESTER 13

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

PD (5)

1 Thoburn’s Northridge Gotan Go, striking puppy with a lot going for him. Nice head shape, correct bite, good shoulder placement, ample bone, good angulations, well balanced, moved well around the ring. One to watch out for. BP;

2 Griffiths’ Manawyddan I Got Rhytham, young dog who is maturing nicely, well put together, plenty of bone & substance without being overdone, in good condition, moved well covering the ground with ease;

3 Adams’ Saffini Crazy For You.

JD (1) A. PGD (0).

LD (1)

1 Purser’s Saffini Teenage Dreams, nice head & expression, good pigmentation, good bone & body, nice tailset, moved well. Just thought he was carrying a little weight.

OD (3)

1 Fallon’s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson, judged this one on a few occasions, just gets better as he matures. Ticks all the boxes, full of breed type, handled & put down in first class condition, moved effortlessly around the ring covering the ground with ease. BOB; 2 Clarke’s No name given, this first thing I noticed about this dog was his pigmentation – eye rim, gums, roof of his mouth: black as coal. Not seen it like this for a long while, plenty of breed type, nothing exaggerated, hard & in good condition, moved well. RBD.

PB (2)

1 Jones’ Zaraslake Pumpkin Pie at Silverluka, 8 months youngster with a lot of promise, nice pigmentation, good head & bite, nice shoulder placement, settled down nicely on the move covering the ground with ease, one of her virtues. Just needs to mature, pushed hard for BP;

2 Busby’s Clavance Minnie Ha-Ha at Zakby, nice head shape, correct bite, good shoulder placement, ample bone, good angulations, moved well.

JB (1)

1 Dowdy’s Jacott Juniper Gem for Flojo, stood alone but one of quality & type, well put together, plenty of bone & substance without being overdone, in good condition, hard & fit, moved well, good tailset, in good coat.

PGB (4)

1 Thoburn’s Daisymaes Doris Day with Northridge, nice outline, good pigmentation, well sprung rib, short back, muscular thighs, well let down hocks, moved well. Would have liked more coat;

2 Nivern’s Kirktonhill Come What May, short & compact without being overdone, strong & powerful without exaggerations. A bit unsure of herself at times, but moved well;

3 Busby’s Calvence Killer Queen at Zakby.

LB (3)

1 Clarke’s Calvence Fat Bottomed Girl, great pigmentation. A bit light in coat here, but the colour will come with age. A lot to like about this one, short & compact, well balanced, good angulations, moved with ease. RBB;

2 Watkins’ Chloeanco Hunni Daress for Zaraslake, judged this one on several occasions, very well put together, right make & shape, nothing overdone, good angles wherever viewed from, moves freely & easily. Carrying weight here, but one of good type;

3 Barrett’s Saffini Truly Madly Deeply.

OB (5) 1 Dowdy’s Ch Denzilly Toot Sweet, easily worthy of her title, good sound honest bitch with no exaggerations, lots of breed type, great profile, moved effortlessly around the ring covering the ground with ease, in cracking condition & full coat. BOS;

2 Tilley’s Starzak Solid Gold EZ Action, very good one of breed type, compact, well balanced without exaggeration, short & strong, well sprung rib, good pigmentation, in good coat, moved with ease;

3 Dowdy’s Starcadia Luna Sea.
