SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE MANCHESTER 22

PD (2)

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Shake It Off. Good size, correct head proportions, good dentition, well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, level topline, good angulation, shown in good coat for his age, moved well around the ring, bright future, BP and very pleased to see him take PTG 4 in strong competition.

2 Herbert’s Saffini Smooth Operator At Julibidd. More compact than first, another nice head, well placed ears, correct eye, enough neck into good shoulder, correct forequarters, preferred the topline of first.

JD (1)

1 Johnstone’s Rouxboos To Rehutal. Good dentition, nice shape and balance, correct tail set, level topline which he kept on the move, coat still developing, needs to settle when in the ring. Covered the ground well.

LD (1)

1 Charleton’s House Of Softy Indus (Imp Swe). Masculine head, good proportions, well defined stop, good scissor bite, correct front quarters, short coupled, strong loin, good size and balance, moved well.

OD (9)

1 Clarke’s Flaxela Perfect Storm. Eyecatching dog, excellent proportions and angulation, masculine head with good proportions, good scissor bite, well placed ears giving the Wheaten expression, strong neck into well placed shoulders, nice coupling and tail set, shown in excellent coat, moved well both ways. Dog CC & BOB.

2 Satherley’s Am Can Ch Silkcroft Freeze Frame (Re Imp) JW Bel Jun. Similar to first, a little shorter in overall length, another good head and dentition, moved well and covered the ground well. I just preferred the overall shape of first. RCC.

3 Withington’s Ch Fantasa Blond Rufus.

PB (4)

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Wildest Dreams. Sister to BP dog and very little between them, feminine head, good dentition, nice expression, liked her shape and balance, shown in excellent coat, moved well both ways, a very bright future for them both, just preferred the masculinity and maturity of her brother at this stage. BPB.

2 Barrett’s Saffini The Sweetest Taboo. Unlucky to meet first, close to first in many departments, shape, balance, nice head with good expression, excellent front, in good coat, moved well but I just preferred the rear movement of first.

3 Evans & Hammond’s Calvenace Ruby Tuesday.

JB (2)

1 Evans & Hammond’s Calvenace Super Trooper. Head of correct proportions, good ear set, nice eye and expression, correct forequarters, good depth of chest, ribs well sprung, level topline, short coupled, in good coat, won on size and movement.

2 Lui’s Eblanahalls Gold Limerance. Very attractive bitch, compact, feminine head, good angulation, nice tail set, coat coming through, I would like more of her all over to complete a picture, well handled.

PGB (3, 1)

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Place Your Bets. Correct shape, balanced head, good dentition, nice reach of neck into well placed shoulders, good fore and hindquarters, powerful short loin, correct tail set, good overall balance, moved well in front.

2 Sheehan’s Keevasdream White Lace. Defined stop, good ear placement, correct expression, good front and rear quarters, nice rear angulation moved and covered the ring with ease, just preferred the neck and tail set of first.

LB (7, 1)

1 Springford’s Keevasdream White Linen JW. Correct head proportions, good scissor bite, good length of body, balance and angulation, level top line strong back, correct tail set, covered the ring well when on the move.

2 Dowdy’s Denzilly Sweet Cariad. Mature bitch with an excellent head, clean neck, good forequarters, good depth of body, nice spring of rib, shown in good coat, good angulation, moved well in front. I just preferred the tail set of first.

3 Satherley’s Silkcroft Never Miss A Beat.

OB (9, 1)

1 Clarke’s Ch Flaxela Weaver Of Dreams JW ShCM. A pleasure to go over, as she entered the ring. I thought she is the one to beat and made a superb match for the excellent young Dog CC winner, not surprised to learn afterwards that indeed it was the dam. Excellent head, perfect scissor bite, well placed shoulders, level topline, short coupled, correct tail set. Coat coming through, moved both ways with ease. BCC

2 Gale’s Meganelli Gorgeous In Gold. Feminine throughout, good eye and expression, correct ear placement, correct forequarters, liked her shape, balance and angulation, unlucky to meet first. RBCC.

3 Jones’ Saffini Suga Pie Honey Bunch.

VB (1)

1 Lui’s Thistlebe Them There Eyes At Eblanahalls ShCM ShC. Stood alone but still a worthy winner, good dentition, nice shape and angulation, shown in excellent coat moved well both ways and with ease. BV. BOB Challenge, mother and son challenged for BOB, both were excellent and similar in nearly all departments, I selected the young male over his mother as she carried a little more weight.
