SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 15

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

Thank you for a large & quality entry. Open dog & limit & open bitch classes were full of quality & these brought close decisions.

Many thanks to my stewards Alan Hards & Will Croxford.

MPD

1 Kirktonhill Cara Dilis, 9 months, excellent size & proportions & a very good head & eye. Good colour & texture. Needs a little more upper arm but he has a good stride when settled. Very promising.

PD

1 Celtania Extra Suave, 8 months, full measure for size & just a touch long but good topline & tailset. Good head. Movement a touch loose at the moment. Good colour;

2 Calvenale My Sweet Lord for Middlebury, 9 months, good proportions but tailset a little low. Strong head, sound moving but needs a little more confidence.

JD

1 Saffini For You To Love, 13 months, top size but I liked his head & proportions & movement. Very good mover with real spirit. Tail carriage could be better. Needs to drop into himself now & fill out in body but full of type;

2 Flaxela Too Fast For Love at Justjingo, 15 months, another good dog, a little more forward in body than the winner. Stronger in skull but good foreface & I liked his proportions. Tailset a little low. Needs more coat left on his back & this spoiled his topline on the day.

PGD

1 Silkcroft Crests Of Waves, 18 months, pale wheaten dog of excellent proportions & has quality in the head with excellent ears. Correct ribcage, can drop a little in chest which is evident in his front action which is a touch loose but excellent rear & profile movement. Coat texture could be a little better but he is still young;

2 Saffini Crazy For You, 3 years, lovely coat & nicely presented. He is a little long in balance. Strong head. Nose pigment could be stronger. Very good topline & tailset. Movement not as coordinated as winner;

3 Flaxella Too Fast For Love at Justjingo.

LD

1 Northridge Gotan Go, 3 years old, just a shade long for perfect balance but he is full of breed type & scored here in coat texture. Very good rear action & good angulation in front. Excellent topline. RCC;

2 Tiareko Niflheims Wizard, 2 years, high quality dog whose proportions I preferred slightly to the winner & he has a very good head. Coat texture not as good as the winner but he is a good mover. Ears just a shade heavy;

3 Glendowan Tarquol.

OD

1 Kinaelan Finlandia Finian, 5 years, lovely type, just a shade long for balance, very good stride, silky textured coat. A little wide in front. Good in rear. Excellent profile stride which won him the CC;

2 Ch Modnystyle Lover Boy for Seamrog, good moving dog of good size, just a little short on the leg for balance. Good head & preferred coat texture of winner;

3 Ir Ch Ballysax Bremner.

MPB

Nice youngsters.

1 Celtannia Extra Confident at Kinaelan, 8 months, lovely puppy for type, coat texture, proportions & movement. Full of breed type in head & ears. Very good stride. Should do well. BP;

2 Silkcroft Auroras Encore, 6 months, lovely puppy, needs to grow on a little but she is of lovely type & proportions & excellent movement, scored in ears & topline to take the spot;

3 Manawyddan On The Move.

PB

1 Loufahsa Fama Rouxboos, 11 months, very nice for size & proportion. Good head & silky texture in coat & carried herself well. Has a good stride;

2 Celtannia Extra Chic, 8 months, lovely proportions & when she settled she was an excellent mover. I hope she has finished her growing, but she is full of promise;

3 M On The Move.

JB

1 Saffini Sugar And Spice, 12 months, lovely proportions & full of type in head, eye & ears. Good coat texture & colour, I liked her a lot;

2 Flaxela Everlasting Love, 16 months, lovely type with very good movement, proportions & a quality head & eye, good coat texture, good in topline & front action over her little sister in 3, Flaxela My Secret Love.

PGB

1 Wheaten Rebels Them There Eyes, 2 years old, unexaggerated type & excellent movement. Very good coat texture, lovely head & eye. Appealed greatly & presented in excellent trim;

2 Northridge Who Are You, 20 months, another of good proportions & coat, good head, topline & tailset, not as tidy in front action as the winner;

3 Kirktonhill What I Believe.

LB

1 Sidereals Essence Of Time, 2 years, top sized bitch but full of quality & a beautiful coat. Excellent stride. Lovely coat texture & presentation of it excellent. Nose pigment could be stronger;

2 Silkcroft Sky Full Of Stars, 18 months, lovely size & proportions & a very good coat. Feminine quality head & good pigment. Not quite the coordination in front of the winner;

3 Orliscwt Lilee The Pink.

OB

1 Garsayno Gold Gemma, 5 years, lovely quality & type. Sound mover. Tailset could be a little higher. Excellent body & coat & went accurately. Handler could make more of this very good bitch. CC & BOB;

2 Ch Brynhir Rochelle Lil Rock, 7 years, just a touch longer cast than the winner, free stride, lovely coat texture. Very close. RCC;

3 Kizzahla Dreamsiche.
