Midland Counties 18 Judge

SOFT COATED WHEATEN MIDLAND COUNTIES 18 Judge(s): EILEEN BOAK A nice entry. The habit of stuffing the dog with food when the judge is trying to look at it seems to have crept in - not a great idea! 1 Instance's Keevasdream White Knight. 6 month old showing happy wheaten disposition. Moderate in type. Promising coat of nice colour and texture and good rear movement. Front movement was rather out but could be just his enthusiasm! Should do well. 1 Satherley's Silkcroft Freeze Frame. Liked his head. Wavy coat that's not too thick. Good topline. He appears rather tall with his long neck and short back but is sound enough, BP. 2 Wright's Abbeymead Stelline. Deep coloured puppy with a nice wave to the coat but he is rather big all through. 1 Moles & Williams' Celtannia Atlantic Gold. Good in head and moved well both front and back due to well placed shoulders and correct angulation. Coat rather plush. 2 Taylor's Eblanahalls Silkbeard. Lovely coat, soft and silky. Moved ok. 3 Wardle's Denzilly He's Got The Look. 1 Taylor's Eblanahall's Teckle Ish. Smallish Irish type dog. Stood alone. 1 Watkins' Zaraslake Lucky Seven. Liked his size head and expression. Good coloured coat, fell nicely in waves. 2 Patterson's Snowmeadow Sauls Symphony To Gavleash. Larger dog and longer cast. Moved soundly enough. 3 Barrett's Saffini Shining Star. 1 Dowdy's Ch Greentree Gold Mombo To Denzilly. The big black nose had me! Strong head pigment and bite, neat ears. Well proportioned dog. Not exaggerated in any way and correct angulation. Topline good on the move and when not overstretched when standing. Wavy light wheaten coat. Well deserved CC and BOB. 2 Satherley & Smith's Am Ch Haldene Chasin' Tail. Lovely coat falling in loose waves with no need to be overstylised. Well proportioned. Neat ears and expression. Holds his tail better than a lot of them. RCC. 3 Moles & Williams' Celtannia Extra Suave. 1 Sheehan's Keevasdream White Lace. 6 month old baby showing much promise. Standing four square showed herself off beautifully. Well placed shoulders and good topline. 2 Francis' Sawheaten Kiss From A Rose. Neat ears and head. Nice colour for age. Not so steady on the move. 3 Escott's Sidereal Sunkissed. 1 Springford's Keevasdream White Linen. Litter sister to winner of MPB. Similar remarks apply. 2 Satherley's Silkcroft Point And Shoot. Neat head and expression. Front movement not so good. 1 Moles & Williams' Celtannia Atlantic Aida. Strong yet feminine head. Good colour. Moderate in type with no exaggerations. Very promising. 2 Lui's Eblanahalls Honey Trap. Another promising one. Slightly smaller and paler in colour. Well proportioned and moved beautifully. 3 MacGregor's Kirktonhill What I Believe. 1 Escott's Sidereal Tennessee Waltz. At the larger end of the scale but still feminine. Won the class on movement - striding round the ring like a Wheaten should. Soft wavy coat. 2 Lui's Eblanahalls Honey Trap. 3 Watkins' Zaraslake Tinie Tempah. 1 Lui's Thistlebee Them There Eyes At Eblanahalls. Well proportioned. Good reach of neck without being exaggerated. Mature soft wavy light wheaten coat. RCC. 2 MacGregor's Kirktonhill What I Believe. Slighter smaller. Showing and moving well. 3 Grant's Dannebriel Gladly Godetia. 1 Moles & Williams' Ch Celtannia Extra Chic. Good head, bite and pigment. Nice coloured coat with loose curls. Well balanced and moderate in type. CC. 2 Shrive's Emalot Santa Maria. Soft silky coat. Liked her shape and sound movement. 3 Satherley's Silkcroft One Step Closer.
