SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 19

This was not my entry, but Mr Bob Blackley's, who had to withdraw through illness. We wish him a speedy recovery to good health. The exhibitors sportingly accepted my decisions throughout.

JD (1)

1 Wright's Abbeymead Stelline. 15 mths, lively young man in excellent condition, well pigmented, masculine head, bright expression, strong fit body, easy mover, steady showman, sympathetically handled.

GD (1)

1 Taylor's Eblanahalls Silkbeard At Raisingsands. 17 mths, beautifully clean coat, in excellent condition, attractive head, pleasing expression, excellent well muscled hindquarters, moved well behind but could be firmer in front action.

PGD (2, 1)

1 Taylor's Eblanahalls Teckle Ish At Raisingsands. 23 mths, in fit hard condition, well muscled, compact body, happy, co-operative showman. A little straight behind. I should like to see him move with more drive behind. A bit plain in head but definitely masculine.

LD (4)

1 Patterson's Snowmeadow Sauls Symphony To Gavleash. 2 yr old, well bodied and proportioned, good head, outline and depth of body, excellent coat, well conditioned, moved well.

2 Satherley's Silkcroft Freeze Frame. 18 mths, very smart youngster in good form, well proportioned, quality head, excellent topline and quarters, good tail set, expertly handled. Ran winner close.

3 Lui's Eblanahalls Aye Right.

OD (9, 1)

Quite a class.

1, CC & BOB & RBIS. This was his third and crowning CC. 1 Dunhill Hall's Mother's Finest Jon Snow At Fantasa (Imp). 4 yrs, moved superbly to win this strong class, masculine head, intelligent expression, strong, firm body, well muscled and very fit, well balanced, well fitting coat, always in perfect harmony with his handler when moving. Delighted to watch him go RBIS under Jack Watson. I have never seen a Wheaten move as well as this.

2 & RCC, Dowdy's Ch Greentree Gold Mombo To Denzilly (Imp). Excellent type and quality. I liked this 3 yr old very much, compact body, typical head and eyes, delightful personality, good body and bone, well conditioned, showy and co-operative.

3 Moles & Williams & Dalton's Ch Celtannia Atlantic Gold.

VD/B (3, 1)

Mixed class sex wise.

1 Johnstone's Ch Whitevale Motorway Madness At Rouxboos. 7 yrs, very young looking male, good mouth, excellent outline, well coated and bodied, moved and showed well, excellent performer, fit and healthy.

2 Charleton's Ch Janeyjimjams Jemima. 8 yr old bitch of good quality, attractive head, clean neckline, steady showgirl, clearly still enjoying her moment in the ring. Not moving as well as the dog in front today.

MPB (1)

1 Connor's Regalred Miss Moneypenny. Just 6 mths, so a real baby, relaxed showgirl who moved quite well for one so young, feminine head, firm body and quarters, just needs time to mature and develop but she has a good frame.

PB (4)

1 & BP, Brooks' Loofahsa Hugger Mugger. Nearly 10 mths, easy winner, shows great potential, very well presented, quality head, clean outline, excellent body, moved and showed well, handled to best advantage.

2 Sheehan's Keevasdream White Lace. 11 mths, did not want to play today! Feminine head, well proportioned, excellent coat, well handled.

3 Johnson's Garsayno Gold Madonna.

JB (3, 2)

1 Francis' Sawheaten Kiss From A Rose. 13 mths, good honest bitch, clean and well turned out, typical head and eyes, steady showgirl who went well, room for improvement in topline but maturity will see to that.

GB (5, 1)

1 Satherley's Silkcroft Point And Shoot. Litter sister to second in LD. 18 mths and a comfortable winnere here, clean outline, good tail set and carriage, pleasing head and expression, firm body, moved and showed well.

2 Lui's Eblanahalls Honeytrap JW. Good bitch of 17 mths, bit of a mummy's girl, and not keen on having her mouth looked at, strong hindquarters, well proportioned.

3 Macgregor's Kirktonhill What It's Not JW.

PGB (7, 2)

1 Moles & Williams' Celtannia Atlantic Aida. 19 mths, very nice bitch, sired by the RCC dog, out of today's CC bitch, so has much to like, feminine head, expressive eyes, clean neckline, showed with style, easy mover, well well handled.

2 Munn's Snowmeadow Suzy Sixpence. 2 yrs, quality bitch and another who moved well, pleasing head, excellent body and proportions, bit of a fidget on the stack.

3 Davies' Janeyjimjams Jam Puff At Brynhir.

LB (5, 2)

1 Hughlock's Janeyjimjams Jolene At Keevasdream. 4 yrs, light on her feet going round, good outline, coat and body, attractive head with good expression, well handled, showed with focus.

2 Jones' Saffini Suga Pie Honey Bunch. Two and a half yrs, good sort, excellent neckline and body, held her topline on the move, well coatede and conditioned, close between first and second.

3 Macgregor's Kirktonhill What I Believe ShCM.

OB (9, 2)

1 & CC, Moles & Williams' Ch Celtannia Extra Chic. 4 yrs, very nice quality and type, no exaggerations, well constructed with good neck and shoulders, most attractive head and expression, fit and well muscled, strong body, moved with a purpose, sound and stylish, good topline, well coated.

2 & RCC, Lui's Thistlebe Them There Eyes At Eblanahalls ShCM ShC. Good honest bitch with all the essentials, like first, she was well handled and presented, pleasing head, good tail set, excellent body and quarters, made a good account of herself, both standing and moving.

3 Hanna's Multi Ch Celtannia Extra Confident At Kinaelan CJW.
