SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE SKC MAY 18

My thanks to the SKC committee for this prestigious invitation at their highly organised and friendly show.

PD (2)

1 Satherley's Silkcroft Freeze Frame, good size thus far and a well balanced dog, these first two showed many similar qualities: dark eyes, scissor bites, promising rich wheaten colour with little darkness, nice tails, not curly nor coarse, this one really reached out around the ring.

2 Taylor's Eblanahalls Silkbeard, not as settled as 1 on the move but very nice exhibit who should do well.

JD (2)

1 Patterson's Snowmeadow Sauls Symphony To Gavleash, lovely 14 month old boy, blonde coat clear of any darkness, well balanced, dark eye and scissor bite, moved freely, stunning outline showing a lot of promise.

PGD (1)

1 Lui's Eblanahalls Aye Right, this 2 year old male is a big strong lad full of bone and masculinity, nice outline, heavier coat with a hint of the Irish - soft to touch with a real sheen, deep powerful chest, enough drive to cover ground RCC.

LD (2)

1 Tilley's Janeyjimjams Jubilee Star At Starzak Sh CM, another strong male, big black nose finishing off a powerful head, good reach of neck, lovely arching tail, fully mature coat, moved well.

2 Johnson's Garsayno Gold Kipling, different type to 1, 2 year old male, ideal size, scissor bite, perfect dark hazel eyes, another jet black nose finishing a lovely wheaten expression.

OD (5,1)

1 Howe's Ch Daisymaes Enforcer, strong male, a big black nose finishing a powerful head, good reach of neck flowing into a level top-line to a lovely arching tail. His fully mature coat falls in a loose curl. Has drive and purpose covering ample ground on the move DCC.

2 Dowdy's Ch Greentree Gold Mombo To Denzilly (Imp USA), this one is a different type to 1 and has plenty of quality, shorter in back, well angulated rear, only 2 years old so his coat has some maturing to do, an appealing rich wheaten colour.

3 Satherley & Smith's Am Ch Haldane Chasin' Tail.

PB (5,1)

1 Satherley's Silkcroft Point And Shoot, lovely puppy who is balanced with no signs of exaggeration, moved around the ring at her own pace and freely, clear and rich wheaten coloured coat showing real promise, dark eyes and ideal scissor bite BP.

2 Lui's Eblanahalls Honeytrap, not much between these two, again well balanced and a steady free mover, nice length of neck and back with excellent rear angulation.

3 Macgregor's Kirktonhill What It's Not.

JB (4,2)

1 Herbert's Julibidd Maybe I'm Amazed, Feminine bitch with a soft coat which is silky to the touch, balanced on the move, reachy neck, level top-line, correct arching tail which is well set on.

2 Macgregor's Kirktonhill What It's Not, still a baby, good coat colour and texture maturing nicely, very feminine, dark eye, well proportioned head.

PGB (5,2)

1 Macgregor's Kirktonhill What I Believe Sh CM, feminine bitch with a lovely silky wheat coloured coat, dark hazel eyes and a jet black nose, well proportioned.

2 Delaney's Braelochyen Ice Quartz, this lovely Irish type bitch is up to size, well balanced with well laid back shoulders, a firm level top-line and drive from a nicely angulated rear. 3 Macaulay's Keridown All Night Long

LB (3)

1 Lui's Thistlebe Them There Eyes At Eblanahalls Sh CM, well balanced bitch with a superb coat, a rich blonde with a silky texture, natural trimming really enhanced the look, for me a typical and ideal expression, correct size, good drive on the move, my find of the day RCC.

2 Satherley, Meister & Brooks' Silkcroft Some Magic Rose, blonde coloured coat, big black nose setting off a well proportioned head, good reach of neck, level top-line, correct tail set, steady on the move.

3 Jones' Saffini Suga Pie Honey Bunch.

OB (4)

1 Clarke's Flaxela Weaver Of Dreams JW Sh CM, once she got moving, this one had the full package, correct coat, the long loose wave with a rich blonde colour and soft to touch, good arch of neck on well angulated shoulders, straight top-line with enough rear angulation to drive freely around the ring CC & BOB.

2 Satherley's Silkcroft Auroras Encore JW, feminine bitch who is compact, ideal colour of coat, tidy but strong head with small terrier like ears, well angulated rear, good move but the winner was on top form today.

3 Howes' Flaxela New Vision At Daisymaes
