STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BATH 13 Judge: Miss H L Wall BEST OF BREED : 1638 DAVIES Mr M & Mrs M Eclypstaff Cuz I Can STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BATH 13 Staffordshire Bull Terriers My first ch show appointment. Even though the weather was very cold, I was able to judge outside & not having to go undercover till the later classes. Having the biggest entry on the day for the terriers the overall standard of dogs was good & not many absentees. MPD (4) 1 Stone & Bruton’s Zakstaff Rumour Has It, black, good type for one so young, nice shaped clean head & expression with correct placed ears, good mouth & bite, overall outline ideal for size & age, hindquarters developing well, maintained a level topline standing & on the move, in tip-top condition & handled very well, should have a bright future & looking forward to seeing the finished product. BP; 2 Ferguson’s Roughnecks Raging Bull, br/w, well developed head, dark round eye with good muzzle & bite, nice straight front into a shapely agile body, moved & handled well for his lady owner; 3 Carter’s Seastaff Poseidon. PD (5) 1 Asker’s Dazmarnic I’ll Ave Arf, r/w, good head with keen expression, dark eye & mask, nice front & lay of shoulder, good neck & topline with nice turn of stifle moved OK; 2 Thomas’ Samtan Black Justice, b/br/w, nice compact pup with plenty going for him, good head & mouth, stood foursquare & was presented well; 3 Walker’s Seenworstaff True Grit for Janikastco. JD (6) 1 Wilk’s Dracostaff Baldurs Blade, b/w, typical neat head with rose ears, darkest of eyes, correct mouth & bite, good length of neck into well placed shoulders, kept a good outline when on the move; 2 Poole’s Sikaistaff Dark Warrior, black, good head eyes & ears, correct bite, good neck & front, moved well; 3 Hammond’s Hammystaff Fire Starter. ND (1) 1 Horton’s Albermarbull Running Riot, r/w, has a nice clean head with good ears, dark eye & muzzle, straight well boned front with well padded feet, short in couplings, moved soundly. PGD (14) 1 Hart’s Hammystaff Fire Starter, r/w, typical good head type with rose ears, dark round eye short strong muzzle & correct dentition, good front with ample bone, nice body outline with decent hindquarters, moved soundly; 2 Matviakova’s Satip Sorboss at Vrabarbull b/br, nice clean head with well placed eyes & ears, good front & rear, level topline held on the move; 3 Hall’s Geordiestaff Canny Laddie. LD (13) 1 Rollin’s Seenworstaff Stand By Me, w/r, a nice blend of bull & terrier, shows balance & type throughout, good head & expression showing alertness, dark round eyes perfectly set, short neck into well placed shoulders, straight well boned front & well padded neat feet, good spring of rib, has superb movement with a great profile, handled on the day to his best by his owner. RCC; 2 Lewis’ Charmonics Regal Lad, b/br/w, this was a close call between 1, this dog has plenty of virtue with good type, cleanest of heads, tight clean lips with good scissor bite, ample bone structure throughout, short in body with well defined waistline, hindquarters developed nicely, moved effortlessly; 3 Fulford’s Staffstyle Burning Heart at Bokido. OD (13) 1 Davies’ Eclypstaff Cuz I Can, b/w, wow what can I say this dog is first class & fits the Standard beautifully, has great strength for his size, pleasing head shape with good skull to muzzle proportions, correct mouth with interlocking canines & well pronounced cheek bumps, dark round eyes correctly set giving good expression, lovely straight front with a good depth of brisket, strength throughout & moves with drive & purpose. CC, his third, & BOB; 2 Martin’s Roughnecks Sundance Kid at Alvis, r/w, a head to die for short & deep through with distinct stop, tight clean lips on a perfect muzzle, well arched neck onto good shoulders, straight front & up on his toes at all times, nice clean outline & shows with little fear, moved perfectly for his owner; 3 Johnson’s Tillcarr Fire Marshall. VD (0). MPB (5) 1 Ferguson’s Rough Necks Star Prize, r/f, pleasing feminine head, dark eyes ideally set with appealing expression, correct mouth & bite, straight front with good lay of shoulder, neatest of feet with good pigment, body of good length & proportion, moved & handled well for one so young; 2 Hart’s Albermarbull Ice Diamond, w/r, nice looking bitch that has a lovely head shape with good eyes, ears & mouth, nice front, level topline & backend coming on nicely; 3 Wilk’s Pureonic Angel Delight of Jevaces. PB (8) 1 Rollin’s Seenworstaff Tea For Two, r/f/w, lovely youngster with feminine head, dark round eye, mouth OK, a bitch of Standard size with good front quarters & hindquarters, level topline moved OK; 2 Asker’s Dazmarnic Kiss N Tell, r/f/w, clean headed with good pigment, correct bite & neat ears, good front & nice backend to match; 3 Freeman’s Samtan Razz Mattaz. JB (4) 1 Birbeck’s Bellarouge Blithe Spirit, r/f/w, a bitch who is going to have a bright future. Expressive head with good skull & muzzle proportions, dentition all in order, nice arched neck to a good lay of shoulder & soundest of fronts, has correct rib bone & substance, well developed hindquarters showing no weakness. Was a close call for CC but her movement was unsettled & let her down in the final challenge. RCC; 2 Turner’s Quatros Alexis Icandy, r/f/w, quality bitch that pushed the 1 for its placing, lovely clean head shape with a beautiful expression, well placed teeth, good length of neck into correct placed shoulders, short back & nice turn of stifle, moved & handled well; 3 Beaufoy’s Lackyle Realta Beag of Wyrefare. NB (6) 1 S Tea For Two; 2 Hart’s Albermarbull Essence, r/f/w, sound head shape with neat ears, dark eye, muzzle & teeth good, straight front & neat feet, adequate spring of rib & good in body, in nice form, moved & handled well; 3 Butler’s Seenworstaff Storm Warning at Joemikeste. PGB (9) 1 Day & Thomas’ Jayalix’s Lady Antebellum, f/w, good clean head shape with distinct stop & nice length to muzzle, good ear carriage that is neatly placed giving of a good expression, straight front with good lay of shoulder, body of good shape & length nice bend of stifle which powered this bitch on the move, handled well; 2 Hart’s Jazzygem Cherry Red Albermarbull, r/f/w, another nice Standard bitch from this kennel, is balancing out well with a good overall outline, lovely feminine head of good proportion, correct mouth, nice front with a good depth of brisket, level topline & was held at all times standing & on the move; 3 Robinson & Robinson-Cox & Cox’s Jefmor Fire And Ice of Hamason. LB (13) 1 Halifax’s Seastaff Polar Force at Jackstaff, w/r, feminine but strong well proportioned head with eyes that followed my every move, nice short muzzle with cleanest of lips & good mouth & bite, attractive balanced body, this bitch should trouble more than a few; 2 Martin’s Alvis Northern Lights, r/w, another difficult decision between these two girls & ended up splitting hairs, nice type head & expression with lovely dark pigment, mouth ears & eyes all good, clean outline when viewed at all angles, moved & handled well; 3 Draper’s Herodotus Well Lush. OB (8) 1 Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Ciara, a bitch who I have admired from the ringside & wasn’t disappointed when examining her, oozes with type & character, excellent shaped head with nice dark round eye & neat well set ears, front is straight with well boned legs & good feet, short coupled to well angulated rear giving her good action on the move. CC; 2 Johnson’s Challenger Incantation for Tillcarr, b/w, a pleasing beautiful type head with dark round eyes & clean bite, balances out nicely with a good straight front & well padded feet, a sturdy but trim body to a nice angulated backend which she put to good use; 3 Pearce’s Eclypstaff Take A Bow for Bullhawk. VB (5) 1 Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Trinity, b/w, good head shape & expression, nice size & balance & still has a lovely outline for age & is still in good form, moved & handled well; 2 Walker’s Tiptoe Red Lady at Janikastco, r/w, grand lady with lovely clean head, good front & in nice shape, moved & handled OK; 3 Fletcher & Seedhouse’s Granitangel Solar Flare.
