Belfast Dog Show Society 29th September 2018. I would like to thank the Club for inviting me to judge at this show, to all that entered under me thank you for allowing me the privilege of judging your special dogs and for the sporting way you all took my decision on the day, the quality was super. To my two ring stewards Fred Jones and Jim Mc Carthy I would like to say thanks to you both for keeping everything running so smoothly.

Puppy Dog 5e – 1a

1st Messrs L & A Rhodes & Pritchard. Taraiel Reaper at Teracota, a very clean smart looking boy with everything going for him he has a lovely head shape with nice rose ears and the darkest of eyes, nice stop good length of muzzle correct bite, clean front nice amount of bone and good feet well ribbed and short in back with nice tuck up strong backend and good turn of stifle correct tail set and moved well. Best Puppy in Breed.

2ND Miss S & Miss J Hirst & Bibby. Taraiel Soulja Boy, Litter brother to my winner and very similar just a bit stronger but I prefer the cleanest of my 1st he has a strong well shaped head nice ear set dark eyes bite ok, clean front good bone and well-padded feet, well ribbed short in back would have liked more tuck up, strong back end with good turn of stifle moved ok these boys I think will change places a lot look forward to seeing how they both mature.

Junior Dog 4e.

1st C & M Moureu-Larrang. Never Dies Ice White Du Clan’Molotov, as his name says a white boy who is strong all over with a nice shape to his head lovely dark eyes with nice ear carriage, good length of muzzle with correct bite nice amount of under jaw, clean front with nice depth of brisket ample bone and nice feet, nice reach of neck well ribbed would have liked a bit more tuck up but found out at end he is still only a puppy, strong backend with good turn of stifle correct tail set moved well.

2nd Mr M & Mrs N Moore. Pantycelyn Grim Reaper, a black brindle with white blaze not as mature as my winner but this should correct itself with time he has a nice head shape with rose ear dark eye correct bite front ok nice reach of neck well ribbed with nice length of back nice tuck up good backend and moved ok.

Post Grad Dog 2e.

1st Mr P Sobral. Must Don’t Stop Me Du Clan Molotov. A brindle dog with white on fore chest very clean all over nice head shape good ear set dark eye good length of muzzle with correct bite, very clean front with good depth of brisket nice bone and tight feet good reach of neck with nice shoulder placement, well ribbed with lovely tuck up at loins he has a well-muscled backend with good turn of stifle correct tail set and moved ok

2nd Miss C L F Martin. Staffeeon King Of The Mournes, a red dog strong in head would like a tidier ear set dark eye good stop black mask correct bite, good depth of brisket nice bone would prefer better feet, well ribbed with good length of back, well-muscled backend moved ok.

Limit Dog 2e.

1st Miss F & Mr G Campbell & Irvine. Diamondstaff Jack N Black, a black brindle with white spot who won the class with ease was presented in lovely fit condition and was pushing both my cc and my rcc today for top honor’s he has a very clean head nice ear set dark eyes nice ratio of muzzle to skull correct bite with nice big teeth good under jaw the cleanest of fronts with good bone and well-padded tight feet, he has a nice reach of neck with good shoulder placement well ribbed with nice length of back lovely tuck up at loins, strong backend with well-muscled hind quarters and lovely turn of stifle correct tail set he moved well and held his topline on the move.

2nd Miss C L F Martin 2nd in post grad.

Open Dog 5e.

1st Mr T Woods. Bultery Rollen Thunder, a black brindle who was presented in lovely condition today and commands your attention as soon as he enters the ring, he has a striking head shape that is so clean all over set off with lovely rose ears and the darkest of eyes and a defined stop with lovely strength of muzzle with lovely depth of under jaw and a perfect bite with great big teeth, very clean front with lovely depth of brisket, nice amount of bone and lovely feet and hard pads and well-worn nails from road work, he has lovely reach of neck that flows into good shoulder placement, well ribbed and short coupled with nice tuck up at his loins well-muscled backend and good turn of stifle and well let down at the hock, correct tail set and moves so well with great drive and holds his top line on the move a pleasure to award him first in his class and the CC as well and Res Best Of Breed.

2nd M k Svanung. SE/EE Ch Rascalstaff The Hulk. Another top dog who pushed my winner all the way today just preferred a bit more of my winner all over, a black brindle with white blaze who was also presented in lovely show condition very clean in head and good ear set and nice well placed dark eyes, clean front and good depth of brisket, good bone and tight feet, nice reach of neck with good shoulder placement, well ribbed with nice tuck up at loins short coupled strong backend and good turn of stifle moved well a pleasure to award him the rcc and he pushed my winner all the way.

Puppy bitch 2e.

1st Miss D & Miss K Raynsford & Stevens. Raynstaff Dark And Stormy, a black brindle with lovely feminine head shape set off with nice ear set and dark eye good length of muzzle correct bite clean front with nice bone and tight feet, ample rib and nice lay of back, good backend and moved well and held topline on the move as well.

2nd Mr A & Mrs M Gallagher. Eclypstaff Thumbelina, a brindle with white on front strong in head nice ear set dark eye, she has a correct bite clean front and good bone ample rib with nice lay of back good back end and moved ok just prefer the cleanest of my winner.

Junior bitch 1e.

1st MR C Hackett. Hellstaff Lady Gaga, a black brindle who stood alone in this class but a very worthy winner strong in head with good ear set and she uses them well, very dark eyes defined stop with nice length of foreface correct bite clean front and good bone and nice feet, well ribbed with good lay of back and nice tuck up at loins, strong back end with well-muscled hind quarters nice turn of stifle moved well.

Post Grad bitch 6e.

1st MR S & Miss K Lowery. Bultery Black Bliss, I note that this is a litter sister to my dog cc and also her litter sister was in the class so what a litter, a super strong class of bitches, a solid black brindle with very nice clean lines lovely head shape good ears dark eyes nice stop with good length of muzzle correct bite and nice depth to underjaw, very clean front with good bone and nice tight feet, nice reach of neck well ribbed with good tuck up at loins, strong back end with well-muscled hind quarters and nice turn of stifle moved very well and held her topline on the move.

2nd Mr D Geoghegan. Devil In The Skies At Warigal, a red and white bitch with a very clean head set off with well placed ears, dark eyes with nice ratio of muzzle to skull, correct bite, clean front with good depth of brisket nice bone and tight feet, well ribbed with nice tuck up at loins strong backend and well-muscled hind quarters and good turn of stifle moved well just prefer the bit more overall that my winner had.

Limit bitch 4e.

1st Mrs V R & Mr S E Mann. Nerotoro Cosmic Girl JW, a bitch that I judged before and she has matured very well unlucky to come up against my winner from open today, she has a stunning head with lovely rose ears dark eyes correct bite and clean front with lovely depth of brisket ample bone and tight feet nice reach of neck that flows into good shoulders, well ribbed with nice tuck up at loins good backend and nice turn of stifle moved well a pleasure to award her 1st in class and rcc.

2nd Miss J & Mr K Johnston & Brown. Revelry Queen Of Battle, a black brindle who was stronger all over then my winner I just prefer the cleanest of my winner nice head shape set off with well placed rose ears, dark eyes defined stop , good length and strength of muzzle correct bite, lovely clean front with good bone and tight feet, nice reach of neck well ribbed with good tuck up at loins, strong backend and well-muscled hind quarters nice turn of stifle and well let down at the hock moved well.

Open bitch 6e.

1st M Karlsson. Rascalstaff Enchantress. A black brindle who has it all for me just oozes quality I have judged her before and she has even matured more since then a lovely blend of bull and terrier with a lovely feminine head which is set off with very nice ear carriage and she has lovely well placed dark eyes nice stop with lovely ratio of muzzle to skull. Correct bite with nice big teeth, very clean front with good depth of brisket and lovely amount of bone and tight hard feet, nice reach of neck that flows into well placed shoulders well ribbed, very short coupled and lovely tuck up at loins, strong backend and well-muscled hind quarters lovely turn of stifle and well let down at the hock she moved with drive both going and coming and held a lovely top line and tail set on the move when it came to the challenge for bob she used her ears super showing her lovely expression a pleasure to award her the 1st in class and the CC and BOB.

2ND Miss S & Miss J Hirst & Bibby. Taraiel Lorde JW,SHCM, a black brindle with white to front who I also have judged before and she has matured very well, lovely head which is set off by rose ears and dark eye correct bite with clean front and nice depth of brisket well ribbed with good lay of back nice tuck up at loins, strong back end and well-muscled hind quarters and nice turn of stifle moved well.
