When judging I obviously look for type and soundness (relative to the breed standard] and the type I like is my own personal perception of what a Stafford should be, every judge has their own interpretation of size, shape and ratio and this is mine. On a different day decisions could change and there were some nice dogs that went cardless on the day. As a general rule the dogs were better quality than the bitches. SBD (5,1) 1 Jennings, Elitebull Valentine, w/r pied, nice young dog with flashy markings, good strong head with enough depth and tidy ears, muscular front well boned, close coupled with decent topline, nice back end with good bend of stifle, moved OK. BSBIB 2 Hall, Geordiestaff Local Hero, b/br/w decent head less strong than 1, nice front, slightly longer back with good topline, well defined back end and decent bend of stifle, moved OK. 3 Walbey, Tyneview Rizzius Lusso MPD (2) 1 Bassford-Lane, Jojalane I Drink Wine, r/w, decent head for age, deep through with tidy ears, nice black mask, flashy front and decent shoulder angulation, close coupled with level topline, decent back end and bend of stifle, moved like a puppy should. 2 Cockeram, Bullybranch Clever Coal, red, lighter shade of red than 1, hard to assess as he was restless, decent head and front, coupling and topline OK, again moved like a puppy. PD (2) 1 Wells & Wells, Wellsstaffs Young Warrior, b/br, very well put together puppy with plenty more to come, well shaped head in good proportion, deep through and nice ears, well boned front, good shoulder angulation with nice tight feet, close coupled, level topline, muscular rear, correct bend of stifle, moved with drive and purpose, one to watch in the future. BPD, BPIB 2 Martinez, & Martinez, Bullbrothers Timelord, r/w another nice pup, good head with black mask and tidy ears, wide front with ample bone and tight feet, close coupling with level topline, good spring of rib, muscular back end, moved OK. JD (10) 1 Funnell, Powerpack Jack In The Box,b/br, strong head with neat ears, good well boned front with tight feet, close coupled with good topline, muscular back end and moved well. 2 Duffield, Mansell-Duffield, Sharmara Lacrnum Inflamari At Duffman JW, r/w another nice dog, hard to pick between 1 and 2, lovely deep skull with black mask, wide front with good feet, good shoulder angulation, close coupled and level topline, muscular back end with decent movement. 3 Thomas, Yvette Biggleswick Devils Dream YD (6,1) 1 Moorcroft, Ellchansha Charm The Devil At Moorstar JW, b/br another very nice exhibit, good head broad and deep with tidy ears, wide muscular front with good bone, correct shoulder angulation and tight feet, in profile he was compact and had the correct ratio of height to length, very compact, level topline, good back end and moved well, was seriously considered for RCC. 2 Davies, Hasburystaff Top Gun, b/br/w, quality dog, good head and muscular front, close coupled with good topline, muscular back end and moved well 3 Deen, Ellchansha The Devil In Me At Tondoo JW ND (2) 1 Wells & Wells Wellsstaffs Young Warrior, see PD 2 Woodward, Cotsward Drops Of Jupiter, b/br decent head, and front, close coupled with decent topline, moved OK. GD (6,1) 1 Robinson, & Robinson, & Robinson-Cox Hamason Sweet Little Mystry JW, br/w pied, strong head with good depth and neat ears, wide well muscled front with good bone and substance, close coupled with good topline, muscular back end, moved well. 2 Seaton, Coolio In Gangsters Paradise Von Der Rennstadt,(imp) b/br, decent head and front, close coupled with correct topline, moved OK PGD (3) 1 Mayren, & Mayren, & Mayren, Fergiestaffs Polar Bear Jw, w/r/ pied, flashy with good head shape, deep through with neat ears, close coupled with good topline, muscular back end, moved OK 2 Pickett, Valglo Top Gun,b/br nice head with tidy ears, very compact, good front with plenty of bone, level topline, good back end and moved OK. 3 Howard, & Howard, Matrixstaffs Knight Star LD (15,3) 1 Thorley, & Fearnley, Crewestaff Half Blud Prince – b/br good head with short muzzle, broad forehead and deep through skull, neat well placed ears, strong wide front with ample bone and substance, neat tight feet well up on his pasterns, well sprung rib with deep brisket, close coupled with level topline, strong muscular back end with good bend of stifle, moved well. When viewed in profile had the perfect height to length ratio, pleased to award him the CC, RBOB 2 Blow, Scoutor Rogue One JW b/br another nice dog, good head deep through with neat ears, well boned front, close coupled with level topline and good back end, moved OK. 3 Jones, Kamaristaffs Royal Rumour JW OD (7) 1 Sheldon, Ch Kamaristaffs Royal Ransom At Bowtman Jw – b/br, another top class dog full of quality, good broad skull with plenty of depth and neat ears, classic wide front with bone and substance, neat tight feet, close coupled with good topline, muscular hind quarters and moved well. GB (6,2) 1 Johnson, Ellchansha Put A Spell On You, b/br good head with depth and neat ears, wide front, ample bone and substance, close coupled with level topline, good back end, moved well. 2 Blake, Llanstaffs The One, b/br decent shaped head with neat ears, decent front, level topline, decent back end and moved OK. 3 Matthews, Janjoma Hearts Desire PGB (6) 1 Martinez, & Martinez, Bullbrothers Mist Mydnight, b/br/w tidy head, neat ears, wide front, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved well. 2 Harkin, Kamaristaff Royal Duchess, b/br similar to 1, decent head, good front, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved OK 3 Johnson, Ellchansha Cast A Spell LB (9,1) 1 Jones, Kamaristaffs Royal Velvet JW, b/br nice head with good depth and neat ears, wide front with good bone, compact, level topline muscular hind quarters, moved well. 2 Thorley, & Fearnley, Crewestaff Bonnie Lass, b/br good head with wide front and good bone, good bend of stifle moved OK. 3 Jackson, Jackabyte Nemesis OB (5) 1 Shipp, Ch Delacour Sweetest Taboo For Idyllicstaff JW, w/b/br pied, the star of the show, looks like the standard was written with her in mind, great ratios with no exaggerations, cracking head for a bitch with her markings making it all the more distinctive, lovely ear carriage, wide front with ample bone and substance all in the right proportions, tight well padded feet, correct shoulder angulation, good spring of rib, close coupled, level topline when standing and on the move, powerful rear end that helped her to move with power and agility. 2 Hall, Geordiestaff Local Hero, b/br/w decent head less strong than 1, nice front, slightly longer back with good topline, well defined back end and decent bend of stifle, moved OK.
