STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BLACKPOOL 19 Judge(s): MRS W SOUTHWORTH(D) - (B) DCC CH CAZOMIC CRIME FIGHTER JW (MR D & MR S THOMAS) Thank you to Blackpool & District Canine society, for inviting me to judge this show, also a huge thank you to all who entered, present and absent alike. Thank you so much to the ladies who stewarded for me. I must apologise as my New voice activated Dictaphone was on the table, (note to oneself, read instructions and don’t leave on table between classes as it picks up stewards conversation) I had a number of missing classes so have done the critiques from what was left along with photos and notes, also the numbers in my book do not relate to the classes as per Fosse Data Print out, it is not possible for the 2nd in Post Grad to be the winner of best Junior! MPD (7) 1. McCarron-Tuer’s Elitebull Avenger B/Br white young dog with a lovely head and expression, good mouth nice straight front ,feet and pasterns body developing nicely level topline, short coupled, good stifles, moved and handled well, one for the future. 2 Desmond’s Elitebull Charger Litter brother to one and similar in make and shape in all departments, however this little boy moved a little irratic but well enough to take his place. 3. Hillmans Chalexstaff the Heathen PD (3,1) 1 Makin and Porters Waystaff Moonshine. White puppy with Red eye patch bang on standard with a lovely clean well shaped head, darkest of eyes good mout clean lips straight front a good spring of rib for age, strong well shaped rear. Beautifully turned out. I liked him a lot and was pleased to award him BPIB nice to see him shortlisted in the Group. 2. Farrimond Ashstaff Jesses dark prince Brindle and white nice head, good ears, dark eyes, good mouth and ears developing well in the body, slightly longer than 1, although his handler tried hard he didn’t move his best. JD (6,1) 1. Briant’s Ballindona Rodger the Dodger Brindle dog who has the full range of colour through his coat, Good strong well shaped head, which houses a dark eye, which follow you around the ring good mouth neat ears use to enhance his expression, strong neck straight front with well padded feet, good body properties well shaped rear, moved and handled well and went onto be best Junior. 2 Riley’s Hatson Come On Thunder B/Br Standard size male with good head and front, good b properties and rear quarters, moved and handle well 3 Hammonds Joemikeste Eye of the Storm YD (6,1) 1 Gough’s Manark Made to Measure Tidy red dog shown in fit and hard condition, Good head shape with dark eyes good mouth/underjaw, nest ears used to advantage, well boned front with good feet short coupled strong well muscled rear quarters. He was moved and handled expertly to take this class. 2 Preston’s Tillcar Fire Starter JW Br/white dog with very nice head shape and depth of skull, dark eyes correct mouth and underjaw, tidy ears, straight front leading to shapely body with level topline, well turned out male who was moved and handled well. 3 Pages Assilio Lisbon Lion PGD (6,1) 1 Major’s Maxsta Floyd Lord of The Went. B/Br dog lovely shaped head with dark eyes good mouth strong underjaw, neat ears Strong Neck lowing into straight front good depth of chest, good feet on strong pasterns, well sprung ribs, good coupling, well muscled rear quarters, he was moved and handled well to take this class. 2 Boulton and Haytons Dusklight Against all Odds. White male with a strong well shaped head which houses the darkest eyes, neat eyes correct mouth with lovely big white teeth, Straight well boned front on well padded feet deep brisket, well sprung ribs, short coupled, strong well shaped rear quarters with lots of muscle. This lad makes his lady handler work for their places, but he’s well worth is award. 3 Wallace’s Ballindona Crazy Horse. LD 1 Oconnor’s Samtan Crimefighter By Chezatree good ears, underjaw and top sized red/white dog who processes a beautiful shaped head which is a blend of bull and terrier, piercing dark eyes, strong muzzle correct mouth, with huge white teeth, good underjaw, ears, and stop, straight front with well padded feet and good pasterns, well sprung ribs nice coupling, strong well muscled thighs, moved and handled with Style to take a well deserved RCC, beaten by his sire from open. Goodluck for the future. 2 Stanway’s Waystaff Strike Force (AI) Standard size red/white male who is actually better when you go over him, He has a lovely make and shape of head, which houses Good mouth, dark eyes, with plenty of fill, tidy ears, well boned straight front, ample spring of rib, short coupled good rear quarters which are well muscled, moved well, makes his handler work for her places. I like his spirit. 3 Johnson’s Tillcarr Fire Coanda. OD (10) 1 Thomas’s Ch Cazomic Crime Fighter JW A red dog of quality who is leaving his mark on the, breed. Beautifully shaped head, with an abundance of width and depth to skull, good ratio of muzzle to head, Huge white teeth, great underjaw, piercing dark eyes, that follow you around the ring, correct shoulders, straight well boned front leading to a well matured body with spring of Rib, level topline held on the move, you couldn’t indent his thighs the muscle was solid, a credit to his owners, at 5 years old he was the fittest dog of the day, he showed them how its done. moved and handled so well. A favourite of mine who I never thought I’d get to judge him as I assumed he had been retired. Having never given a CC to a red male in the uk. So pleased to award the CC to him. 2 Desmonds Elitebull Challenger JW Black brindle dog of quality, not difficult to see why he gained his title early, good head shape and dark eyes which also follow you around the ring, good stop, good mouth, neat ears, straight well boned front with good feet good depth to his brisket, level topline, well shaped rear quarters, he moved and handled well for his lady handler/owner, a good team. 3 Jordons Dazmarnic Know What I Mean. MPB (2,1) 1 Lee’s Leebees Bubbalicious Red/White bitch Who Stood alone, however she was well worthy of her 1st place, developing nicely in the head, good mouth and dark eyes, straight front nice feet, good body shape. She moved well and was handled well. PB (2) 2 in this class which could be swapped and change around and it will be interesting to see which bitch gets the first major award. 1 Stanway’s Waystaff Honeymoon Red/White with the cleanest of outlines, good shaped head, good mouth, clean lip, dark eye, good expression, good body shape with a level topline, well shaped rear quarters with some muscle, showed well, maturity to come. 2 Jackson’s Jackabyte Bocouture. B/Br bitch who is a nice make and shape, heavier in bone than 1, she possesses a good head and expression, dark eyes and tidy ears, good front, slightly longer cast than 1, well shaped rear quarters, moved a little erratic, but was with style. JB (2,1) 1 Yates Ellachansha Happy Ever After. A brindle bitch who also stood alone, again well worthy of her 1st place, She has a lovely shaped head with dark eyes, good mouth nice ears, this bitch watches you all the time, she has a straight well boned front with tidy feet, a body which is maturing well nice and shapely, good rear quarters, moved with drive and handled very well. YB (5,1) 1 Dougan’s Luthias Light of Venus B/Br bitch of quality and balance, who made me look time and again, beautiful head shape, darkest of eyes good mouth and underjaw, tidy ears used to enhance expression, straightest of fronts, good feet, lovely body with level topline and well shaped rear, shown to her best by her handler, seriously considered her for RCC. One for the future. 2 Marshallsay’s Tudor Queen JW This is a beautiful bitch who I’ve seen on many occasions, a really tough decision between 1 and 2. Classy Red and white bitch who oozes type and style, great head shape, dark eyes, correct mouth, neat ears great neck straight font with good bone, lovely body and rear quarters, moved and handled so well. This bitch should also gain her title. 3 Nicholsons’s Bobby Dazzler. PGB (2) 1 Greave’s Rumaco Sweet Mischief Good quality Brindle pied Girl who was as fit as a flea, Strong in head and muzzle, dark eyes and good mouth. Substantial underjaw, good expression, straight front with good bone and feet, good spring of ribs, strong well muscled rear quarters, moved well with a level topline, the handler really does get the best from her. 2 Bells Drumburn Betty Boop. B/Br bicth who was not as strong in the head as 1, however this does not distract from her other virtues, dark eyes, neat ears, good mouth, straight front, good body shape with spring of ribs nice coupling good backend, moved and handled well. LB (7,2) 1 Kirks Jodanzac Fireball Red JW Red/white of quality, lovely make and shape and good from all angles, gorgeous head shape, which has the darkest of eyes, neat ears good mouth and underjaw, strong straight front with good weight of bone, well sprung ribs good coupling, well muscled rear quarters, moved and handled very well to win a class of quality bitches and was also 1 of 3 considered for RCC. 2 Ford & Williams Dajast Sweety With Jam’NLoz JW A quality Brindle bitch who on first sight I thought was my winner of this class, as I have liked her from a puppy, she has a classic head shape with all its virtues, width, depth etc, dark eyes, neat ears, correct mouth, lovely straight front with good feet great ribs and depth of brisket, well shaped stifles, she moves and handles so well. Sadly she was hormonal and showing teets from a phantom pregnancy. Gutted. 3 McClelland Rochlowie Bonnie Lass. OB (7,1) A good class of quality bitches on show. 1 Marshall’s Marstaff True Grit Red bitch, bang on standard with the most expressive stare, excellent head shape, width and depth dark eyes, good muzzle, mouth with correct bite and large white teeth, neat ears, strong neck, straight front on good bone, lovely feet with no weakness of pasterns, good depth of brisket, plenty of rib, correct length of coupling, strong, well muscled rear quarters, She looked a picture from all angles, moved and handled like a dream. Today was your day, never put a foot wrong, delighted to award her the CC and BOB. The “old Cliché”, would be proud to own her. I hope you get your 3rd CC and title soon. 2 Tillcar Baptism of Fire. B/Br bitch of quality, standard size, she oozes type, lovely head, with good depth and width deep stop, correct mouth with good underjaw. Lovely strong straight front, correct depth of brisket and well sprung ribs again good coupling good width muscling and shape to rear quarters. She shows herself off exceptionally well, so pleased to award her RCC. Not difficult to see why she appeals to so many judges. 3 McKimms Ch Biggleswick Fifty Fifty JW. Judge Wynny Southworth |
