STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BOURNEMOUTH 17 Judge: Mr J Farley BEST OF BREED : 2113 MILLER Mrs L Deldenas Black Shadow STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 17 MPD (1) 1 Cooper's Sheracruz Doin The Best I Can. Just over 6 months old red with dark mask, overall looks neat and tidy. Good size and showing balance, movement was right, one or two areas that will improve with maturity. 1 Brady, Calazde Black Hawk War. Black/Brindle just 12 months. Good length of muzzle with depth to his head, dark eye, liked his front wide and straight, showing deep brisket wide and well spring ribs. Maturity along the right lines, entering the junior ranks now and may need to improve muscle tone. 1 Brady, Calazde Black Hawk War. 2 Anchor's Valglo Daddy Cool. Strong head, short compact dog liked his markings/ colour, stood square, level in topline, straight front with enough width, rear movement let him down on the day. 1 Breckell, Chiswelstaff Lets Dance. Black/ Brindle, good size powerful looking dog showing balance strength and very muscular condition. Good ring presence on his toes and looking active. Strong head with distinct stop, depth set off with neat ears, dark eyes. Close coupled body showing well spring ribs. Movement was good and his handler did a first class job. Res CC. 2 Allsopp, Rubericla Trailbreaker. Black/ Brindle, neat looking dog balanced: stood square correct in head, shoulders, front correct, level in top line and good rear quarters. I preferred that little bit more all round of the 1st also felt his movement at the rear let him down today. 3 McClements, Samtan Brindle Prince at Jodanzac. Brindle dog, good head, short foreface, plenty of width and strength to his front strong in neck, deep brisket with well spring ribs, bit heavy type for me. 1 Brady, Calazde Black Hawk War. 2 Anchor, Valglo Daddy Cool. 1 Hopkins, Trufflestaff Papinashuash JW. Brindle stood square strong head with short foreface good depth to head carrying short neck which led into nice wide shoulders, strength front and enough bone, short coupled with level topline and good strength to rear quarters. Just felt he was a bit heavy all round for me in the challenge. 2 Brady, Foylegarth Hakunamatata. Brindle dog, broad head shape but preferred the depth of head on 1st, wide shoulders showing good width and straight front. Fitter dog overall than 1st. 1 Rowe and South, Illori Akinlana JW Sh.CM. Black/ Brindle like his size very fit looking active dog showing good blend of bull and terrier. Nice depth to head correct neck into shoulders enough width and straight rears to front plenty of rib, moved well, presented first class. 2 Messrs and Martinez, Bullbrothers Dr Who. Black/ Brindle, good size did not have the depth of head or expression of 1st. Good front, nice spring of rib, level top line, moved well could have been fitter in overall appearance. 3 Mitchell and Ashton, Our Little Cracker. Blue, top size and longer cast showing a good topline straight front and good rear quarters. Eye colour and nose colour both distract from the standard. Handler was very good, presenting him in an expert way. 1 Hopkins, Trufflestaff Papinashuash JW. 1 Bailey, Cwmcalon Hugo Boss. Brindle, top size and slightly long cast but carrying one of the best heads I have seen, strong head but not overdone. Lovely clean lines throughout smooth short and close coat, moved well, his handler had a tendency to stretch him out when standing. 2 Wall and Webb, Manark Mad Max. Black/ Brindle, strong powerful head, shorter in foreface and very deep through good overall picture, strong and enough width of chest, well-muscled in rear quarters, movement was good: shown well. I just preferred cleaner head of 1st. 3 Lee and Coleman, Bulhawk Archie Bold. Black/ Brindle, overall a good dog, to complete at this level, needs more muscle tone and the rope lead/collar did not help to get the best out of him. 1 Miller, Deldenas Black Shadow. Black/ brindle, standard size dog showing great breed type, strong clean head, good bite pronounced check muscles, short neck, plenty of width to front and rear quarters on movement, the legs really did move parallel from the rear making him one of the best movers on the dog winning him CC BOB and he went on to get group 3 in a strong terrier group represented the breed in an excellent way. 2 Whitley, Ginstean Black Bomber. Black/ Brindle, another nice dog, good conditions, nice head shape, very strong on shoulders, straight front correct, rear quarters, fit looking and moved well. 3 Hedges and McBride, Brohez Rubin Hurricane (a1) (1mp). Black/ Brindle, good size stood square presented very well level in top line, enough width to front well- muscled on rear. Felt his movement let him down today. 1 Smart and Worthy, Fifa Blue. Blue, strong all over, short coupled good size head had short foreface and nice depth, still keeping level top line moved well-presented expertly and seemed to be enjoying himself. 2 Daly and Lees. Michenil Magical Midnight at Boscador. Blue, very similar to above, they looked related but informed not. Again an old boy enjoying his day out, a pleasure to judge both veterans. Lost out to 1st due to movement today. 1 Coleman, Berrystock Enigma Black. Black/ Brindle, lovely puppy, good mouth correct in size you would expect at this age. Very clean in outline enough bone about her, straight front and looks enough bend of stifle at the rear end held her top line and moved well. 2 Rodgers, Berrystock Miss Spitfire. Black/ Brindle, lovely puppy, good mouth correct in size you would expect at the age. Very clean in outline enough bone about her straight front and looks enough bend of stifle at the rear end her top line and moved well. Yes both critiques are the same, the breeder should be proud of these puppies. 1 McDermott, Kings and Queens Over the Moon. Black/ Brindle, nice size, showing good balance, correct shaped head with short foreface and good depth, lovely front and rear quarters with strength. Her expression was spot on. Tendency to lift her front legs on moving looking for bait from the handler. Best Puppy of breed. 2 Blanch Calonge Diamonds of Blanch Lady Thunder. Black/ brindle, good size enough head, well set ears, nice neck line, strong shoulders, and wide front. I felt maybe slight over angulated at the rear but still just a pup. 3 Thurston, Happystaff Dancing Queen. 1 Asker, Dazmarnic for Her Indoors. Red stood alone in this once popular class. Well balanced with good head shape short in foreface and good depth nice set of ears, clean outline showing straight front enough rib strong rear quarters with good blend of stifle. Moved well. YB (8,1) 1 Funnell, Powerpack Cherokee JW. Black/ brindle, correct size, strong feminine head, showing good expression, strong shoulders, straight in front, plenty of rib, held her topline and moved well. 2 Ryan, Rubericla Little Elita One. Black/brindle, nice balanced bitch, strong in head with correct ratio for foreface to head, right width to front, enough rib, level top line and moved well. 3 Blanch Calonge, Diamonds of Blanch Princess. Eye catching pied, balance was spoilt by bitch carrying a bit of weight, front and rear quarters, good carried a level top line. 1 Thomas, Sunnystone bit of Brimstone. Brindle, lovely little pocket rocket of a Stafford, strong in all quarters, very short coupled, strong head, plenty of bone, straight front muscular rear end, moved well. 1 Fry, Kimstaff Lady Shivva. Black/ brindle, good size, nicely balanced showing keen expression, plenty of width to front, enough brisket and spring of rib, coat and condition a credit to her. Movement was good. 2 Funnel, Lackyle Oiche Eiri for Powerpack. Black/ brindle, nice size and balanced bitch a bit more on the terrier side, wide straight front level in topline and movement was good. 3 Thomas, Sunnystone Olympic Dream. Brindle, smaller sized bitch, powerfully built heavy looking than 1 and 2, moved okay. 1 Mann, Nerotoro Cosmic Girl JW. Black/ brindle, liked this one, enough head with well-set ears, correct foreface and depth to head, well set neck, going into strong shoulders, plenty of width to her straight front, good spring of rib, strong rear quarters and in tip top condition. 2 Beesley, Jodanzac Missy Lou. Brindle, another quality bitch, good head shape, strong on shoulders, plenty of width to front, correct spring of rib and strong on rear quarters. Just carrying a bit of weight today. 1 Molineux, Jefmor Winter Solstice at Druidhawk JW. Brindle, nice balance bitch, good height to weight ratio, strong in head with short foreface and plenty of depth, clean lips with good bite, liked her front with plenty of width, okay for rib level in top line, strong rear quarters, moved well and was well presented by her handler. 2 Bulter's Joemilkeste Play the Game. Black/brindle, again nicely balanced bitch, good head ratio with strength to foreface and depth to head. clean outline with width to front and powerful rear quarters. 3 Matthews, Janjoma Boniwee Girl. Brindle, 3rd of a strong class of bitches, clean in outline and in good condition, very similar comments to above. On final selection you have to nit-pick sometimes and on this occasion her expression was spoilt by ear carriage. 1 Saunt, Crudha Nordic Star. Black/brindle, what a little star, she never stopped showing at any time. Well balanced bitch in the hardest of conditions, showing good muscular definition throughout her frame. Strong head with powerful foreface and plenty of depth, neat ears helping to give that keen expression. Wide front with deep brisket, plenty of rib, strong on shoulders. Well off for bone, tight feet, level in top line. Deserved CC, a credit to the breed. 2 Byrne and Gartland, CH Carandstaff Moondance JW. Black/ brindle, another quality bitch, taller than 1st but so well, balanced again showing a good expression, powerful but feminie head, neat ears, good strength to head, well laid shoulders with straight front, plenty of rib, level top line, a very worthly champion and my res CC winner. 3 Winwood and Tunnah, CH Nerotoro Stell JW. 1 Hirst and Bibby, Ch Taraiel Ciara JW. A trio of lovely quality bitches. Youngest of the three in good condition not showing much grey at the moment and still very muscular. Still showing quite good balance overall, good on front and rear quarters, top line still showing level and moved well. A tribute to her owner and breeder. 2 Hopkins, Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika JW. Very well, deserved champion, strong looking even at this age, short coupled, good overall condition. Quality head with strength and depth. A real credit to her owner and breeder. 3 Funnell, CH Kewaunee Pocahontas For Powerpack JW. Again well-deserved champion bitch, put down in 1st class condition, strong head shape a credit to her owner.
