There was a good ring presence & a lovely atmosphere prevaled. The City Committee had pulled out all the stops for their 75th. Anniversary Show. Green carparted rings (good training for Crufts ) and Special Comemberative Medals for all breeds; BOB, Best Junior, Best Puppy & Best Veteran. Thanks to the Committee for the invite & looking after us on the day. Special thanks to my two Stewards who kept the ring moving along nicely and the the exhibitors for a wonderful entry....loved your dogs. Cheers. MPD (3) 1 Funnell’s, Powerpack Tam O’Shanter, b.b with white foot, nice expression with neat rose ears, good stop, correct bite, good shoulders, nice feet & turn out, needs to body up but OK for age, in good coat, went well. 2 Manning’s, Orchard Blue Diamond, heavier set blue, eye could be darker, good front with nice feet, well ribbed up, moved and handled well. 3 Davies’ Nikkylestaff King Of Hearts. PD (8) 1 Antonio’s, Gazstaff’s Man In Black for Antoniastaff, b.b.with lovely expression, good muzzle & bite, neat rose ears, dark round eye, nice front & shoulders, good body for age, in good coat & condition, went well. 2nd. Desmond’s, Elitebull Charger, b.b. With some white on front, cracking expression with lovely rose ears, nice eye & correct mouth, good front, nice neck, pleasing body with good quarters & nice bend of stifle, moved & handled well. 3 Hillman’s, Chalexstaff Tthe Heathen. J D (5,1) 1 Riley’s, Halson Come On Thunder, tidy b.b. dog, loved his expression with well set dark eye & neat rose ears, good mouth, short coupled & stood fore square, good rib off the shoulder with pkeasing front & feet. Went well. 2 Corecoran’s, Malru The Navigator, grand headed b.b, neat ears, correct bite, good front with ample bone, well ribbed body – straight off the shoulder,strong quarters with nice bend of stifle. Moved & handled well. 3 Gibson’s, Holmane Moldavite. YD (8) 1 Rhodes & Pritchard’s, Taraiel Reaper at Teracota, b.b. With white foot, lovely in profile, a well balanced typy dog that stood fore square, nice head with neat ears, dark eye & correct bite, straight front with good shoulders, pleasing body & in lovely coat & condition, moved and handled well. 2 Gough’s, Manark Made To Measure, lovely red & standing looked the part, he’s good all round with grand head & expression, dark eye & correct mouth, balanced neck to well laid shoulders with a well ribbed body, ample bone, strong quarters – went to pieces on the move – needs to get his act together – and when he does ! who knows, great potential, he’s worth the effort. 3 Smart & Hedges, Tut Edition Renegade of Arnham. GD (4,1) 1 Hirst & Bibby’s, Taraiel Soulja Boy JW, typy b.b.dog pleasing head & expression, dark eye, lovely ears, correct bite, pleasing front & shoulders, well ribed body off the shoulder, good bend of stifle with strong quarters, went with drive, moved & handled well. 2 Gibson’s, Holmane Moldavite, he was 3rd. in Junior & of a different type, strong head, ears a bit high set, nice ribbed body on this brindle dog, in good coat & condition, went well. 3 Mitchell & Ashton’s, Chedanstaff Devil Star. PGD (5,2) 1 Dawes, MarstaffSundance Kid, good red with grand head & expression with good stop & muzzle, dark eye, clean cut with correct bite, lovely front with nice feet & turn out, well ribbed up, nice bend o f stifle on strong quarters, in lovely coat & condition , went well with good drive. 2 Devlin’s, Tightlines Dusty’s Trail, heavier set red dog with some white on neck & front, strong all round, good skull, dark eye, correct mouth, good front & bone, well ribbed up with powerfull quarters & well set tail, went with drive, well handled. 3 Thomas’, Sunnystone Limited Edition. LD (15,3) 1 Preston’s, Tillcarr Fire Starter, JW, quality brindle of nice size, grand expression with neat well set ears, good eye, correct bite, lovely front & feet with good pigmentation, good neck to well laid shoulders, pleasing body & quarters with nice bend of stifle & well set tail, in lovely condition & went well to Dog Res. CC. 2 Axe’s, Harley’s Choice JW, typy b.b. With grand head & expression, smaller dog than 1 but with equal attributes & lots to like about him, good front & feet, well balanced with good body, typy dog that went well. 3 Roger’s, Berrystock Hawker Tempest. OD (11,1) 1st. Wood’s, Ir. Ch. Bultery Rollen Thunder Jun Ch, CW, quality b.b. Dog, it’s all there, type, balance & movement loved him, grand head with rose ears, dark eye, correct mouth, best of fronts with good feet & turn out at pasterrns, up on his toes & showing well, pleasing neck to well laid shoulders, well ribbed up with good tuck up & strong quarters, nice bend of stifle, in lovely coat & condition, a good moving dog completely at one with his handler, he went with drive moving true both ways, pleased to award him Dog CC and BOB. 2nd. Dog, strong headed with wicked expression, well set rose ears, correct bite, good width of front & well ribbed up, stood square, strong quarters & well set tail, a quality dog that went well. 3rd. Who belies her age, lovely feminine expression with neat rose ears, good eye & correct bite, quality thru’ & thru’, still holding her own with lovely body & quarters.
