STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE DOGS NATIONAL TERRIER 25
I would like to start off by saying it was an honour and a pleasure to judge this prestigious show. It was special one for me as it’s the second time I have judged SBT here but last time it was Bitches in 2010. It was well organised show and ran smoothly through-out the day by my very capable and competent stewards Alison & Gary thank you both.
B.O.B. and B.V.I.B. along with my co-judge Maria Morris was awarded to PATIS, Melle Nathalie & MOUTAUD, M Morgan Robin Dark Knight Du Fleuron Champenois and LEWIS, Mrs Jayne & LEWIS, Mr Karl Ch Biggleswick Splash of Ginge.
Over all the quality of the exhibits were good, mainly standard and of breed type. Dentition in general was good with only two Inverted canines found, but a few exhibits which were long-cast.
I judged some very good exhibits today but some exhibits are not clean in head and their eye shape spoils the over-all expression of the dog. To me as a judge a well-balanced standard dog with a clean expression and a round eye is the first and last thing you look at when judging SBT before placings them.
It was nice to relax and talk to a lot of individuals about the quality of their dogs in general.
At this point I would like to wish the Officers, Committee, Club, and fellow exhibitors all the best for the future.
