Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Can I first thank all the exhibitors for their patience in waiting to get in our ring unfortunately it was 1.30pm before the previous judge finished his judging it was a long day for the puppies but most didn’t seem to mind. Can I also thank all the exhibitors for an excellent entry of some beautiful Staffords, it was a pleasure to see such wonderful dogs & not least a big thanks to the two lady stewards who had such a long day but managed to keep smiling till the end.

1 BPD & BP, Mayren’s Bellarouge Adonis at Fergiestaffs, red pied dog with a lovely profile nice head with a good stop, neat ears with nice dark eyes, plenty rib for a puppy, tailset good, moved & handled well. Well deserved BP;

2 Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Darth Vader, b/br dog, not quite the head of 1 but still a youngster, good chest & body, well laid back shoulders, another good mover.

1 Smith’s Ramblestaff Racketeer, b/br dog with a lovely head, dark eyes, neat ears, strong well padded feet, shown in perfect condition.

1 Ritchie’s Northsaltire Nice One Sam, dog with a typical expression looking back at you, good mouth & ears, short coupled with well laid back shoulders with well let down hocks, level topline, moved well;

2 Dean’s Kylestaff Muddy Water, b/br dog, not the head of 1 & would like tighter feet but otherwise a nice dog, lovely coat with a good tailset, plenty of rib & nice chest.

1 Martinez’s Bullbrothers Dr Who, b/br dog with a wonderful head with neat ears, nice stop & mouth, very short coupled with plenty of rib, good chest, stood foursquare. Was another dog shown in tip top condition;

2 Karlson & Beaufoy’s Jewelstaff Rocker Billy Boy, another short coupled dog with a deep chest & plenty of rib, lovely head with a nice expression, neat ears, good stop, moved like a dream both ways;

3 Miller’s Deldenas Black Shadow.

1 BD, Kimber’s Kimstaff Harry Potter, this is a dog I have admired for a long time, he fits the Standard to a T, wonderful masculine head with the neatest of ears, nothing overdone. Rippling with muscle with a lovely level topline & a wonderful gleaming coat;

2 RBD, Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Busta Rhymes, nice head, good mouth with nice tight lips, neat ears, good short neck leading to well placed shoulders, moved with drive, handled well;

3 Barke’s Rubicanov Wat A Cracker At

1 Buchan’s Happystaff Black Sabbeth, b/br dog with a nice head, neat ears, nice dark eyes, good mouth, good front with good feet, moved well;

2 Ritchie’s Neartmhor I’m A Legend at Northsaltire, red dog, nice head with neat ears, nice body with plenty rib, tailset good, this fellow didn’t seem to want to show today.

1 BPB, Buchan’s Happystaff Could It Be Magic, b/br bitch, what a little cracker this baby is, beautiful feminine head with a gorgeous expression, good mouth with nice tight lips, lovely front with perfect well padded feet, plenty of bone for a youngster which some bitches are lacking these days, I am sure she will have a lovely future in the show ring;

2 Mathews’ Janjoma Bonlwee Gurl, b/br/w bitch, another nice puppy, not quite the head of 1, good mouth, dark eyes, short coupled bitch with good spring of rib, a little unsettled today;

3 Joyce’s Janjulons Dream Lover.

1 Mignano-Fricker & Fricker Calavey’s Magical Dream, nice feminine bitch with a nice head, dark eyes, good cheek muscles, short foreface, neat ears, nice body with a level topline, well boned bitch with a deep chest & nice sprung ribs, she loved being in the ring & I’m sure she would have gone up & down the mat over & over again;

2 Migano-Ficker & Fricker’s Calavey’s Gonna Be Magical, after seeing the catalogue I saw that this was litter sister to 1 so most of the same things apply to this young lady, I think the only difference was ring presence, this little lady didn’t seem to have as much as her sister;

3 Smith’s Ramblestaff Maybee Baby.

1 RBB, O’Conner’s Chapmeek Envougue at Chezatree, b/w pied bitch. This young lady caught my eye as soon as she came into the ring & she is everything I thought she would be, beautiful head with the darkest of eyes, perfect mouth, tight clean lips, lovely well pronounced cheek muscles, deep chest, short coupled, level topline, my only criticism would be I would like tighter feet but otherwise a lovely bitch;

2 Ritchie’s Northsaltire Force India, b/b/w bitch. Good head with nice ear & eye placements, well off for rib with a good chest, strong backend with well let down hocks, nice bend of stifle, moved well;

3 Barke’s Felkirkstaff at Starhaze.

1 Holloway’s Kenquartz Harp of Zulash, b/br bitch with a lovely expression, she never takes her eyes off you, alert at all times, darkest of eyes, neat ears, close coupled with a short & well muscled neck, lovely coat, shown in top condition;

2 Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Lorde, b/w bitch, another nice headed bitch with typical expression, short & compact, plenty rib, lovely mover;

3 Green’s Jewelstaff Miss Chief at Fromestaff.

1 BB & BOB, Mignano-Fricker & Fricker’s Ch Pantycelyn Just A Dream of Calavey, I don’t suppose there is much I can say about this bitch that hasn’t been said before but I would like to say what a pleasure it was to go over her lovely head, everything you would want from a bitch is here, a complete package from top to toe;

2 Dixon’s Ashstock Wanderin Star, red bitch with a lot going for her as well, nice feminine head with dark eyes, nice stop, good mouth, short neck leading to well placed shoulders, level topline, moved with drive, handled well;

3 Anderson’s Caramel Rose Princess.

1 Ritchie’s Blazinstaff Reflection at Northsaltire, red bitch in wonderful condition, nice front, well laid back shoulders, well padded feet, good bend of stifle, level topline, good tail set carried well;

2 Buchan’s Araidh Cherish The Day, b/br bitch with a nice head, good eye placement, ears OK, nice well padded feet, good front, lovely coat that gleamed today;

3 Campbell’s Princess Bonnie Blue Bell.
