Very smart clean cut puppy, well defined head, in proportion with her body. Good expression, correct ear placement, short in back, in fine condition; 2 Martin’s Bathleese Melisandre, 8 months, nice brindle with good head, dark eye, good depth of skull with proportioned muzzle. Good rib for age; 3 Blow’s Valglo Déjà Vu. P (10,1a) 1 Southall’s Beckash Black Ice, 10 months dark brindle. Well balanced, excellent head, dark eye, small rose ears. Nice front, ample rib for age, moved well, grand condition, shown well; 2 Stanway’s Stormfire Crack The Code at Waystaff, r/w pied 10 months. Well balanced, good in front, ample rib for age with good bend of stifle. Moved well, excellent condition & presented well; 3 Norton’s Tikkurilan Spot On. J (16,3) 1 Funnell’s Powerpack Cherokee, ideal type & quality, good head shape, dark eye, neat ears, good mouth, short body, grand spring of rib, excellent condition & handled well; 2 Yates, Tune & Cund’s Tusslestaff Black Diamond, nicely balanced head, clean bite, sound front, good topline, put down in excellent condition. Presented well; 3 Nedoroli’s Roughnecks Rule Britannia. Y (13,1) 1 Byrne & Gartland’s Carandstaff Moondance, br/w, classic head & expression, correct bite, neat ears, good neck & shoulders, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved very well, cracking condition, pleased to award her CC & went on to win BOB in full agreement with my co-judge; 2 McKimm’s Biggleswick Fifty Fifty, well presented red bitch, head well balanced with good muzzle showing good expression, dark eye & well set ears, well sprung rib, excellent condition, moved & handled well; 3 Robinson, Robinson-Cox & Cox’s Studstaff Sugar And Spice of Hamason. PG (11,1) 1 McClelland’s Rochlawie Bonnie Lass, b/br/w, upstanding brindle bitch, alert expression, balanced throughout, moved soundly, good spring of rib & level topline, shown in beautiful condition; 2 Gregory’s Alport Remembrance, brindle bitch, up to size but well balanced, good spring of rib, good front & feet. Would have liked to see her with a little less weight, handled well; 3 Gutierrez Roldan’s Doradostaff Siai. L (12,3) 1 Saunt’s Crudha Nordic Star, stood foursquare & looked correct from all angles. Excellent front with good neck & shoulders, level topline, good quarters, lovely head, grand expression, moved well, presented to perfection; 2 Winwood & Tunnah’s Nerotoro Stella, a cracking b/br bitch, nice head shape, grand in front, level topline, ample rib, nice bend of stifle, presented in excellent condition. I am sure these two bitches will change places during the next 12 months; 3 Johnson’s Ginstean Mv Girl Lollipop at Nikkvlestaff. O (15,2) 1 Canavan’s Ch Boldstock Am I Bovered, brindle with the best of heads. Short muzzle with strong underjaw, neat ears, level topline, strong hindquarters, looked to be enjoying being in the show ring. A pleasure to award her the RCC; 2 Terzi’s Unistar at Maxstaf, b/br bitch, good head shape, short muzzle, correct bite, lovely front with good body to match. Ample rib, strong hindquarters, presented well; 3 Byrnes’ Ch Sandstaff’s Inkberr. V (4,1) 1 Hopkins’ Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika, 9 years old. This bitch is still in grand condition. Moved well & looked as if she enjoyed it; 2 Funnell’s Ch Kewaunse Pocahontas for Powerpack, another well known b/br, still fit & well at 9 years. She still looks the part, presented & moved well; 3 Fox’s Hempstock Dr S Jolihem Foux du Fafa. VERA WESTWOOD
