STAFFORDSHIRE BULL RICHMOND 25 Judge: Ms Julie Cartwright STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE RICHMOND 25 Firstly I would like to thank the committee of this show for allowing me to judge here, this was my first appointment awarding Challenge Certificates for Staffordshire Bull Terriers. A huge thank you to all the exhibitors for your entry and for taking my decisions in such a sporting manor. On a very warm day, I found no breathing issues in any of the dogs, teeth in general were good with minimal mouth faults, therefore not mentioned in my individual critiques. The ground was unfortunately very uneven and the grass quite long which made accessing movement quite difficult at times. Thank you to my ring steward, Dave Levy who worked tirelessly and kept everything in order for me. Thank you to everyone again for you’re entries and patience on the day. VD (2) 1 Johnson, Ellchansha Hotshot Blk/brindle, 7 years old, decent head shape, good length of muzzle, neat rose ears, dark eye, good front, tidy feet, level top-line, good bend of stifle, shown in good condition, moved and handled well. 2 Dean, & Dean, Kylestaff Muddy Water JW Sh.CM VW Blk/brindle, 11 years old, still in fit condition, good head, dark eye, correct ear placement, nice front with good amount of bone, short coupled, good bend of stifle, strength to rear quarters, moved ok. MPD (1) 1 Gutierrez Gonzalez, & Hirst, Dusklight Small Town Boy At Maskalon Red/white stood alone in his class, promising young dog, 8 and half months, nice head shape, correct skull to muzzle ratio, good pigmentation, clean lips, nice front, neat feet, level topline, short in the back, good bend of stifle, moved and handle well. PD (3) 1 Bassford-Lane, Jojalane I Drink Wine Red/white standard dog, beautiful head shape with correct proportions, deep stop, keen expression, neat rose ears, good pigmentation, clean lips, good reach of neck, lovely front with ample bone, deep brisket, stood up on his toes, well placed shoulders, short in the back, level top-line, body developing nicely, good tuck up, moved ok. Went on to win my Best Puppy, good luck for the future with him. 2 Cockeram, Bullybranch Clever Coal Red dog, decent head with good proportions, dark eye, well defined stop, clean lips, good under jaw, nice front, short coupled, good tuck up, level top-line, moved ok. 3 Payne, Vidarstaff Snow Warrior JD (5) 1 Martinez, & Martinez, Ramon Bullbrothers Timelord Fawn standard dog, beautiful head with a broad skull and correct proportions, lovely expression, dark eye, clean lips, deep stop, good reach of neck, super front with bone and substance, neat feet, super top-line, held on the move, short in the back, plenty of rib, well angulated rear quarters, correct tail set, moved and handled well. 2 Jennings, Elitebull Valentine JW White pied dog, super headpiece, lovely expression, dark round eye, neat rose ears, good front with plenty of bone, well placed shoulders, plenty of rib, tucked up in the loins, level top-line, strength to rear quarters, shown in fit condition, moved and handled well. 3 Stewart, & Dickenson, & Dicke Dutch Connection By Aymstaff YD (6,1) 1 Jackson, Jackabyte Redemption (ai) Blk/brindle strong dog, attractive headpiece with correct proportions, dark round eye, deep stop, neat ears, lovely expression, strong under jaw, super front with width and depth to his brisket, plenty of bone, neat feet, good shoulder placement, ample rib, short coupled, strong rear quarters, shown in fit condition, performed well for his handler today. 2 Duffield, & Mansell-Duffield, Sharmara Lacrnum Inflamari At Duffman JW Red/ white chest, lovely head shape with the correct proportions, pleasing expression, good pigmentation, rose ears, strong under jaw, good front with width and depth, good reach of neck, level topline which he carries well, ample rib, good bend of stifle, moved and handled well. 3 Moult, & Moult, Kamaristaffs Royal Legend At Moultstaffs JW ND (1) 1 Cockerham, Bullybranch Clever Coal See 2nd place in PD for critique. GD (4) 1 Martinez, & Martinez, Ramon Bullbrothers The Navigator Blk/brindle white markings, nice head shape with correct skull to muzzle ratio, dark eye, neat ears, good front with plenty of bone and depth to brisket, neat feet, correct shoulder placement, level top-line, short coupled, tucked up in the loins, strength to rear quarters, moved and handled well. 2 Mills, Stormbreakers Vengeance At Milarke Bull Red dog with a lovely headpiece, pleasing expression, distinct stop, neat thin rose ears, dark eye, good front, good reach of neck, level top-line, short in the back, good rear angulations, moved ok. 3 Blagg & Whitehead, Keep It Lowkee At Pindbystaf PGD (3) 1 Lloyd, & Lloyd, Kalostaff Es Lo Que Es JW Blk/brindle good head, district stop, correct ear carriage, lovely front with width and depth to brisket, plenty of bone, neat feet, good reach of neck leading to correct shoulders, level top-line, short coupled, well muscled rear, moved and handled very well. 2 Mitchell, Chedanstaff Devil Star Shcez Blk/brindle dog, nice head shape with good proportions, dark eye, rose ears, good front with good amount of bone, level top-line, strength to rear, moved very well for his handler. 3 Terry, Kannechor Guess He’s Back At Gnosall (az3) LD (12) A class full of quality which I had to shortlist. 1 Duncan, Rhebelstaff Hunky Dory Blk/brindle this dog caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring, he oozes breed type and is not overdone in any way, beautiful head shape with the correct proportions, super expression, dark round eye, neat ears, distinct stop, good depth of under jaw, super front with width and depth, plenty of bone, laid back shoulders, well sprung rib, level top-line, well muscled rear, good bend of stifle, moved with purpose and drive. Pleased to award him my Res Dog CC. 2 Mayren, & Mayren, & Mayren, Fergiestaffs Polar Bear JW White/Red flashy attractive dog, cracking head shape, good width of skull, strong muzzle, dark eyes, neat ears, good pigmentation, strong front with width and depth, plenty of bone, neat well padded feet, stood four square, level top-line, ideal length of back, well muscled rear, moved soundly. 3 Moorcroft, Ellchansha Charm The Devil At Moorstar JW OD (10) A class full of excellent quality dogs making my decisions very difficult. 1 Lloyd-Williams, & Lloyd-Wiiliams, Ch Cwmhaf Celtic Quest Blk/brindle dog of excellent quality, you can see why he is a Champion, he is so well balanced, lovely clean head shape, broad skull with a well defined stop, dark eye, neat ears, strong under jaw, muscled cheek bumps, clean lips, good width to his front with depth to his brisket, good bone, no weakness to his pasterns, neat well padded feet, good shoulder placement, level top-line held on the move, well sprung ribs, short coupled, correct tail set, well muscled rear quarters, well let down on his hocks, short tight coat showing his fitness and muscle definition, moved with drive and purpose. Pleased to award him my Dog CC and Best Of Breed. 2 Sheldon, Ch Kamaristaffs Royal Ransom At Bowtman JW Blk/brindle strong powerful dog, full of breed type, heavier casting than 1st, masculine broad head of correct proportions, super expression, neat rose ears, dark round eye, strong muzzle, clean lips, lovely cheek bumps, straight front with plenty of bone, no weakness at the elbows, well laid back shoulders, level top-line, good spring of rib, well angulated rear quarters, correct tail set, moved and handled well. 3 Wilson & Wilson & Wilson, Ch Northstaff Nightmare JW Sbd (2) 1 Blagg, & Whitehead, Keep It Lowkee At Pindbystaff Red dog with a nice shaped head, neat ears, dark eye, good pigmentation, good front, nice depth of brisket, level top-line, well angulated rear, moved and handled well, seemed to enjoy his time in the ring. 2 Howe, & Fryatt, Brinstar Red Marauder Avec Denbright Red dog, black mask, decent head shape, good under jaw, good bone, depth to his brisket, up on his toes, level top-line, short course coat, correct tail set, moved and handled well. VB (6) 1 Johnson, Ch Ellchansha Once Upon A Time JW Blk/brindle bitch, just 7 and a half years, beautiful feminine head shape of correct proportions, dark eye, straight front, good depth of brisket, neat feet, good pigmentation, short and close coat showing her definition, level top-line, close coupled, strength to rear, well tucked up, moved and handled very well. Pleased to award her VB and Best Veteran In Breed. 2 Funnell, Powerpack Alura Finvarra JW Blk/brindle nearly 8 years old, good headpiece, lovely expression, neat ears, dark eye, straight front, neat feet, level top-line, short coupled, moved and handled very well. 3 Daly-Lees, Starolestaff Arabella At Boscador VW MPB (3,2) 1 Mills, Milarkebull Eleven Blk/brindle bitch, stood alone in this class, 7 months old, still very much a youngster, decent head shape, dark eye, straight front, neat feet, level topline, enough body for her age, moved well for her handler. PB (1) 1 Griggs, Viderstaff Red Empress Red/white pretty youngster, just 11 months old, stood alone in this class, lovely headshape and expression, neat rose ears, dark eye, good width to her front and depth of brisket, neat feet, good shoulder placement, level top-line, good bend of stifle, moved well. JB (9,1) A strong class of quality bitches. 1 Banner & Banner, Geordiestaff Hadaway Pet Tiger brindle bitch very pleasing to the eye, shown in super condition, lovely feminine headshape, correct skull to muzzle ratio, neat thin rose ears which she uses well, clean lips, super front with width and depth, good reach of neck, level topline, excellent well muscled rear, correct tailset, moved and handled well. 2 Smith & Christie-Smith, Tillcarr Fire Phoenix At Troystaff Blk/brindle, beautiful feminine headpiece, super expression, dark eye, strong under jaw, straight front, short in the back, tucked up in the loins, level top-line, coat in excellent condition, moved ok. 3 Matthews, Janjoma Hearts Desire YB (8,1) 1 Bennett, Sikaistaff Thug Rose For Elmissico JW Blk/brindle bitch strong but still feminine, lovely headpiece, beautiful expression, correct skull to muzzle ratio, dark eye, neat ears which she used to her advantage, well set front assembly, plenty of bone and substance, neat feet, good shoulder placement, short in the back, level top-line, nice bend of stifle, moved and handled well. 2 Bowman & Bowman, Sikaistaff Lil Monster At Kamiflo JW Blk/brindle shown in excellent condition, good head, dark eyes, neat ears, good underjaw, nice expression, straight front, level top-line, held on the move, short coupled, ample rib, well let down hocks, moved very well for her handler. 3 Rose, Donna Kodaknott Miracle Girl At Aurwilstaffs NB (6,1) 1 Rochelle & Rochelle, & Kirk, Miss Metalbull Black Pearl Blk/brindle with a super headpiece and expression, a lot to like about her, neat rose thin ears, distinct stop, straight front, no weakness in her pasterns, neat feet, well placed shoulders, level topline, short coupled, tucked up in the loins, strength to her rear quarters, moved and handled well, considered her for higher honours. 2 Johnson, & Johnson, & Mcculloch, Tillcarr Fire Dancer Blk/brindle very pleasing to the eye, super head pretty expression, neat ears, dark eye, good amount of under jaw, good reach of neck, straight front, neat feet, short in the back, lovely coat in gleaming condition, level top-line, tucked up in her loins, moved and handled well. 3 Martinez, & Martinez, Ramon Bullbrothers Northern Star Gb (8) 1 Duncan, Rhebelstaff Sweet Thing Blk/brindle bitch with a lovely head shape, well defined stop, dark eye, neat ears, strength to under jaw, good front with width and depth to brisket, plenty of bone, neat feet, correct shoulders, level top-line, good spring of rib, strength to rear assembly, moved well. 2 Squibb, Sikaistaff Coz I’m Happy Blk/brindle with white markings, good shape to her head, dark eye, good underjaw, straight front with enough bone, level top-line, short coupled, well let down on hocks, moved well. 3 Wilson, & Wilson, & Wilson, Northstaff The Iron Lady Pgb (5,1) 1 Thomas, & Griffiths, Skyestaff Truest Desire For Gazstaff Blk/brindle standard bitch, well balanced, shown in fit hard condition, lovely head shape with the correct proportions, dark round eye, straight front with depth of brisket, correct shoulder placement, level top-line, short coupled, tucked up in the loins, good rear angulation, short coat showing all her definition, so pleased to see her moving much better for her owner, handled well. 2 Jefferson Alport No Surrender Blk/brindle decent head shape, well defined stop, dark eye, well set front assembly, depth to her brisket, good reach of neck, level top-line, short coupled, good bend of stifle, moved well. 3 Mitchell, Vimaval Red Angel LB (8) What a superb class of quality exhibits. 1 Karlsson, Jewlstaff Heart And Steel With Wyrefare Blk/brindle standard bitch, clean outlines, full of breed type, shown in fit, hard condition, beautiful head shape strong but keeping her femininity, dark eye, distinct stop, good under jaw, well developed cheek bumps, straight front with width and depth, stood up on her toes, neat feet, laid back shoulders, level top-line held on the move, good spring of rib, well muscled rear hocks with correct angulations, short coat in lovely condition showing off all her lines, correct tail carriage, moved with purpose and drive for her handler. Pleased to award her the BCC. 2 Rowe & South, Illori Constellation JW Blk/brindle bitch of excellent construction and balance, full of breed type, another one shown in fit hard condition, beautiful head shape, pleasing expression, neat rose ears, dark round eye, distinct stop, strong muzzle and under jaw, clean tight lips, good straight front with deep brisket, neat feet, good amount of bone, well placed shoulders, level top-line which she held when moving, short coupled, ample rib, well tucked up in the loins, powerful rear quarters with good angulations, short gleaming coat showing her muscle definition, moved and handled very well. Pleased to award her my BRCC. 3 Johnson, Tillcarr Desire For Fire Ob (8) 1 Crawford, & Wilson, Ch Northstaff Bay Bomber For Crowstaff JW Blk/brindle bitch of super quality that fits the standard so well, beautiful head shape and expression, neat rose ears, dark eye, strength to under jaw, straight front, depth to brisket, neat well padded feet, good shoulder placement, level top-line, nice spring of rib, sound back end, moved ok. 2nd 3412 SHIPP, Mrs Lisa Marie Ch Delacour Sweetest Taboo For Idyllicstaff JW White/pied bitch, full of breed type with a lovely profile, strong head yet still feminine, dark eye, rose ears, good under jaw, beautiful expression, broad front with depth to her brisket, up on her toes, short in the back, level top-line, strength to her rear quarters, shown in fit, hard condition, moved and handled well. 3 Johnson & Stone, Tillcarr Heart Of Fire SBB (3,1) 1 Bowman, & Bowman, Sikaistaff Lil Monster At Kamiflo See 2nd YB for critique, went on to win G2 in Special Beginners Group. 2 Omalley, Thebilecious Te Amo Atlomstaffs Red bitch, nice head shape, dark eye, strength to under jaw, straight front, neat feet, good top line, tuck up in loins, moved ok.
