STAFFORDSHIRE BULL SOUTH WALES 13 Judge(s): STEVE WHITEHOUSE Staffordshire Bull Terriers MPD 1 Thomas’ Biggleswick Funky Devil, r/w pied in good condition, very typical with good head & scissor bite, good all round angulation, developing nicely, moved & handled very well. PD (4) 1 Membury’s Mitzstaff Union Jack, b/br, excellent young dog in very good condition, full of type, well balanced with a good bite & tidy front, level topline, short in coupling, strong typical head, neat back & moved OK; 2 Rogor’s Roughnecks Darkness Falls of Ynysstaff, b/br, quality young dog, strong head, good ears & layback of shoulders, tidy topline, good angulation, moved & handled well; 3 McClement’s Stormfire Billy Boy at Jodanzal. JD (6) 1 Higgins’ Acrestaff O’Grady, b/br, what a stunning young dog, oozes type, cracking head type, strong but not overdone, neatest of ears, correct scissor bite, excellent shoulders, powerful hindquarters, lovely dark eye, level topline. I’m sure this young man could easily go on to gain his title. RCC; 2 Dziuba’s William Wallace Great ‘N’ Glory, b/br, a superb young dog of quality & type, in very good condition, lovely typical head & expression, neat ears, good bite, topline & rearquarters, moves well & handled with professionalism; 3 Hale & Kemp’s Caymenstaff Carlosway. YD (6) 1 Beeby & Watson’s Geordiestaff Dynamo Dexter, b/br, dog full of quality & type, good head shape & eye placement, correct bite, well balanced, tidy front, short coupling, good back end angulation, moved & handled well; 2 Cooking & Lopez’s Welshstaff Abracadabra, b/br, all the attributes one looks for in a Stafford, good head shape & neat rose ears, in fit condition, good topline, nice front, good angulation, moved very well; 3 Molineux & Hawkes’ Amstaffs, New Moon at Druidhawk. PGD 1 Branten’s Frisianstaffs Enter Sandman, b/br, a top draw dog who excels in type, in top condition, strong typical head carrying a lovely expression, neat rose ears & big teeth in a scissor bite, excellent pigmentation, superb front, good feet, strong hindquarters, moved well & professionally handled, another who could gain his title; 2 W Abracadabra; 3 Peach’s Kaoticblues Chase The Ace. LD (3) 1 Bruton’s Zacstaff Black Baron, b/br, a handsome dog who fits the Standard well, neat typical Stafford head, neat ears, good definition, in fit condition, good shoulders, nice topline & good hindquarters, moved well; 2 Priest’s Mintar Got The Look, a dog of substance carrying very good attributes, good head, front, topline & hindquarters, moved OK; 3 Fletcher & Seedhouse’s Graniteangel Supergiant. OD (10) 1 Hedges & Bogovcic’s Suurisuun Boppinghams Birulai, r/w pied, outstanding in type, cracking head shape, correct dentition, neatest rose ears, perfect neckline, beautiful front, short coupled, lovely angulated rearquarters, good feet, excels in correct movement, an absolute pleasure to judge. CC & BOB, showed himself off to perfection to go G4, a real credit to the breed, owners & the expert handlers; 2 Cartwright’s Zakstaff Game On, b/br, a top quality dog from a top quality kennel, oozes type, fits the Standard very well, typical shaped head, good dentition, nice front, good all round angulation, moved & handled very well; 3 Lewis’ Ch Charmonies Regal Lad. VD (1) 1 Sheldon’s Kings Silver Crest, 71/2 years, in good condition, moved & handled well. GCD 1 Fletcher & Seedhouse’s Jsy Ch Granitangel Zircon, b/br, a good typical Stafford, Standard in departments, good head, topline & front, moved well, a good ambassador for the breed. MPB (6) 1 Kendall’s Biggleswich Diamond Lil, r/w, a smart looking young bitch, lovely typical Stafford expression, good dentition, neat & feminine, all quarters developing well, moved & handled extremely well for her confident young handler. BP; 2 Day & Simpson’s Briganah Black Caviar, b/br, another top drawer young bitch who I am sure will have a good show career, lovely head shape, strong but feminine, correct bite, good neck & shoulders developing, tidy backend, level top, excellent pigmentation. Just a bit shy; 3 Sanders’ Ginstean Amazing Grace at Dominostaff. PB (2) 1 Williams’ Diamonds Of Blanchesme at Bellajaz, b/br, very typical young bitch in very good condition, beautiful expression, good ear carriage, correct dentition, good depth of chest, level topline, good back end angulation & tailset, moved OK, good to see the owner back in the ring; 2 B Black Caviar. JB (7) 1 Weiss’ Whisky In the Jar Great ‘N’ Glory, b/br, what a cracking junior, bang in the Standard, strong but feminine head, correct dentition, short coupled, good shoulders & front, cracking backend, muscular & fit all round, moved very well. RCC; 2 Branton’s Sennyards Born In The Morning Sun, b/br, very similar to 1, top quality, good head shape & bite, level topline & tidy front, good backend. Just lost out on movement, both 1 & 2 could exchange places on another day; 3 Butler’s Seenworstaff Stormwarning at Joemikeste. YB (10) 1 Jackson’s Aus Ch Strongstorm Style Is Eternal at Jackabyte, b/br, an impressive bitch who demands attention in the ring, a cracking example of the breed carrying superb attributes, strong but feminine head, correct dentition, good neckline to lovely shoulders & front, good spring of rib, cracking topline, well angulated rear end & correct tailset, in fit condition, a credit to the breeders & owners. CC; 2 Les Rhodes’ Crumkill Gidimon Girl at Terracotta, b/br, very typical bitch in fit hard condition, feminine head, good eye placement & neckline, tidy front, level topline & strong rearquarters, should have a good future; 3 Bridgen’s Hannystaff Heaven Knows. PGB (4) 1 John’s Welshstaff Princess Ruby, b/br, very sound Standard bitch in very good condition, feminine head & expression, good ear carriage, well balanced, short coupled with good front & showing good angulation, moved very well; 2 McDermott’s Macadermus Summer Lady, b/br, a Standard bitch with lovely head & expression, good ear carriage, nice front, topline & hindquarters, moved OK. Lost out on fitness to 1; 3 Llewellyn’s Zoellies Warhead. LB (8) 1 Scotland’s Callastaff Madame George, b/br/w, a flashy looking Standard bitch in fit hard condition, strong feminine head, good bite, nice neck, shoulders & front, good topline & rearend making a nice picture, moved well; 2 Harvey’s Kyraloebis Sweetest Taboo, b/br, beautiful looking bitch, lovely head shape, typical expression, dark eye, neat ears, tidy front end & rearquarters, good depth of chest & topline. Not as fit as 1 but moved well; 3 Mayron’s Kirniastaff Paige Lil Gizmo. OB 1 Hurst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Clara, b/br, a bitch well worthy of being a ch, neat head & ears, nice eye & good dentition, in very good condition, lovely front, short coupled, cracking back end, a pleasure to judge & moves very well; 2 Davies’ Sebsonic Shinealight at Stormbull, b/br, another cracking example of the breed, a sound bitch in all departments, strong head but still carrying femininity, correct bite, tiniest rose ears, lovely fronted, good angulated rear & level topline, moved well; 3 Hurst & Bibby’s Taraiel Rihanna. VB (4) 1 Williams’ Ch Valglo Annastasia, b/br, good to see a favourite of mine, at 7½ she still retains a true Stafford spirit, up on her toes, full of attitude & still keeping her head & quarters, a credit to the owner & breed; 2 Hurst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Trinity, b/br, 8 years & still in fabulous condition, a real pleasure to go over, still hold on to all her attributes & moved well; 3 Fletcher & Seedhouse’s Granitangel Solar Flare.
