STAFFORDSHIRE BULL SOUTH WALES 14 Judge(s): MRS CAROL A RIDLEY Staffordshire Bull Terriers I would like to thank the committee of SWKA for giving me the opportunity to judge their show & for letting us run a raffle & collection for the Amanda Hart fund. I had some super dogs/bitches under me. I thank everyone for their entries, I had a brilliant day. MPD (4) 1 Hitst & Bibby’s Taraiel Buster Ryhmes, b/br, what a smart youngster he is. Super head shape, correct earset, clean lipped, correct bite, straight front, compact body, well defined hindquarters, moved with confidence, in great condition; 2 Erben’s Rich Man Ambassador Sun, b/br, another typy youngster. Strong head, deep stop, nice dark eye, correct bite, good length of leg, well balanced body, level topline, good bend of stifle, just lacked the maturity of 1st, but I am sure he will have his day; 3 Cawley’s Cawenna Of St Mawgan. PD (5) 1 Woollett’s Assilio Red Alert, r/w flash on chest. Striking pup, lovely head shape, dark eye with keen expression, deep stop, clean lipped, black mask, correct bite, straight front short powerful neck, well laid back shoulders, compact body, level topline, good bend of stifle, very clean outline, moved & handled well a credit to his owners; 2 Rich Man Ambassador Sun; 3 Pitas’ Satip Bohemian Rhapsody. JD (9) 1 Halifax’s Jackstaff Spanish Gold, super red with white chest. Super head with dark eye, neat ears, well boned, straight front, correct shoulder placement, short coupled body, good tuck up, good muscle definition for a young dog, moved with drive & purpose. This has got to be on for the future; 2 Gable’s Earl Boogie Of Sprit-Staff’s, r/b mask. Good head with neat ears, deep stop, round dark eye, short foreface, correct bite, straight front, well laid back shoulders, good depth of brisket, short coupled body, good bend of stifle, level topline held on the move, Just preferred the head shape on one; 3 Morris’ Gawstaff New Boy Studs. YD (6) 1 Thomas’ Biggleswick Funky Devil, r/w/pied. What a cracker, lovely powerful dog, good head with deep stop,correct bite, loved the front on this dog, plenty of bone without being stuffy, short coupled body well muscled hind quarters moved true both ways, very clean out line, credit to his owners; 2 Lavington’s Caymenstaff One In A Million, b/br in super condition, good strength of head, dark eye, correct ear set, clean lipped correct bite, good front & depth of brisket, neat feet, short coupled body with good tuck up, good bend of stifle, correct tailset. Good true mover, handled well; 3 Davies’ Ginstean Man Of God. PG (6) 1 Pitas’ Angranian Saiorse Warrior, b/br/w chest. Super head with good stop, dark eye with keen expression, correct bite, & ear placement, straight front with plenty of bone, powerful neck set onto short coupled body with well defined hindquarters, level topline, moved & handled well in tip top condition; 2 Pinders’ Albermarbull Red’s Legacy at Stelladeoro, r/w chest. Lovely red with dark pigmentation, keen dark eye, deep stop, correct bite, clean lipped, good shoulder placement, well boned without being over done. Short coupled, well defined hindquarters, in super condition, moved & handled well. Credit to his owners; 3 Priest’s Mintmar Got The Look. LD (20,4a) 1 Horton & Dunn’s Albermarbull Running Riot, what a super standard dog. Red with white chest. Super head with dark eye with alert expression & black mask, deep stop, correct bite with large white teeth, well defined cheek muscles, neat ears, powerful neck leading on to short coupled body, good depth of brisket, well tucked up. Well defined hind quarters with well muscled inner thigh, level topline which held on the move, good clean mover both ways. In fit hard condition. A delight to go over. My CC winner & well deserved. Thank you for the privilege; 2 Stone & Bruton’s Zakstaff Rumour Has It, superb quality b/br, liked this dog since he was a youngster, & he did not let me down. A little more lift than 1st. Another cracking head, deep stop with wide dark eyes, correct bite, good earset & width of chest, deep brisket, short coupled powerful body, correct angulation on the hindquarters, in gleaming condition, moved with drive, true mover both ways. Got to be another one for the future Credit to his owners; 3 Williams’ Jodel’s Fernando. OD (11,3) 1 Hedges & Bogovcic’s Ch Suurisuun Boppinghams Birulai, r/w/pied. A super representation of the breed. Standard powerful dog without being stuffy. Beautiful head which typifies the breed, short compact body, well boned throughout, in tip top condition, moved with drive & style, a pleasure to watch & a honour to go over him. Many thanks for the privilege; 2 Smith’s Ch Staffash The Hurricane, r/w/pied. Another super specimen, which I have admired for a while. A little more lift than 1st, & many of the attributes of 1st, a well balanced dog with a stylish outline, I just preferred the head on one. Moved straight & true, in excellent condition, again my privilege to go over him. VD (1) 1 Gibbins’ Crossguns Fred Astaire, br/w, good head, dark eye, neat ears, straight front, good lift, nice depth of chest, good body shape & muscle tone, moved with drive, in gleaming condition. Handled well. MPB (11,2) 1 Duncan’s Nettleworth No Nonesense, b/br, very smart little lady, good head shape, dark eye, short foreface, with deep stop, correct bite, ears a little large at the moment, but will settle in time. Straight front good width of chest for a youngster, short coupled, level topline, good bend of stifle, a well balanced pup, moved true both ways, turned out in super condition; 2 Harrison & Roper’s Trawden Ice And Spice, r/w/pied, lovely quality bitch, super head, dark eye with intelligent expression, good pigmentation, neat ears, correct bite, clean lipped, well boned throughout without being cobby, well laid back shoulders, on to well balanced body, good bend of stifle with no exaggeration, level top, moved soundly with ease, one to watch for the future; 3 McGowan & Owen’s Tagstane Caustic Love. PB (5,1) 1 Wollett’s Assilio Red Contessa, r/b mask. What a little sweetheart, lovely feminine head with deep stop, broad muzzle, clean lipped, short coupled body, good spring of rib for a young pup, well balanced hindquarters, moved straight & true, in good condition. BPIB & well deserved; 2 Plant’s Bethaleese Black Bettina of Kyraloebis, b/br, another quality young lady, pity she came up against 1st, similar to 1st, I loved the head & expression on this pup, good front, good bone, neat feet, again short in the body, well balanced throughout, a very pleasing outline, moved with style; 3 Elrick’s Ruadonis Delilah’s Delight. JB (8,1) 1 Williams’ Canakey Sweet Cool Delight, r/w/pied. A very stylish bitch with good lift, well balanced throughout, good bone, nice head with dark eye, correct bite, straight front with deep chest, good spring of rib, level topline, well bent stifle, well let down at the hocks, well defied hindquarters. Correct tailset, moved with drive & style; 2 McClement’s Jodanzac Brindle Pride, br/w on chest & toes. Super head shape, deep stop good depth & width of muzzle with powerful underjaw, dark round eye with keen expression, correct bite, lovely straight front with good lift, good bone without being over done, neat well padded feet, nice depth of chest, slightly longer in the back than 1st, well sprung ribs, good bend of stifle with correct angulation, correct tail carriage, moved soundly both ways, handled well in good overall condition; 3 Molineux’s Jefmore Winter Solstice for Druidhawk. YB (4,1) 1 Sanders’ Ginstean Amazing Grace at Dominostaff, b/br, very attractive young bitch, super head shape, neatest of ears, wide set dark eyes full of intelligence, correct bite clean lipped, straight front, good width of chest & depth of brisket, short coupled body, well sprung ribs, level topline, powerful hindquarters without being overdone, moved with drive in super condition; 2 Kendal’s Biggleswick Diamond Lil, r/w chest, cracking head shape deep stop, black mask, dark eye with lovely expression, neat ears, good length of leg, tight feet, straight front, well laid back shoulders, a little longer in the back than1st, but did not detract from her overall balance moved & handled well, in good fit condition; 3 Jackson’s Jackabyte I Shud Coco. PGB (12,1) One of the strongest classes of the day. 1 Rollin’s Seenworstaff Tea for Two, r/b mask. Very pretty bitch of standard proportions, dark eye with super expression, deep stop, correct bite, clean lipped, strong underjaw, good powerful neck onto compact well balanced body, straight square front, neatest of feet, level topline, powerful well muscled hindquarters, today she won on the ease & drive of her movement. In super condition, a treat to go over her. Not to be overlooked in the future, my CC winner; 2 Jones’ r/w/pied. Another super bitch, lovely head with dark eye with good expression & pigmentation, clean lipped good bite, super square front with plenty of bone, deep brisket, clean outline with good tuck up, powerful hindquarters, moved with drive & purpose, in lovely condition credit to her owners. RCC & well deserved; 3 Sanders’ Ginstean Amazing Grace at Dominostaff. LB (12,4) 1 Byrnes’ Manark Maggie May, b/br/w chest/sock, powerful bitch in every way, super head, dark eye with pleasing expression, broad deep skull, strong underjaw, clean lipped, correct bite, straight square front with deep brisket, well sprung ribs, short coupled body, powerful hindquarters, moved true both ways in gleaming condition; 2 Butler’s Seenworstaff Storm Warning at Joemikeste, r/w chest, a lovely type of bitch with a strong defined head without losing her femininity, dark eye, correct earset, good strength of underjaw, correct bite, good clean front, neat well padded feet, good spring of rib & depth of brisket, level topline, well defined hindquarters, good & true mover, in great condition, a credit to her owners. Just lost out on maturity on the day; 3 McGowan & Owen’s Tagstane Fuchsia Struck. OB (8) 1 Jackson’s Aus Ch Strongstorm Style Is Eternal at Jackabyte, b/br, super quality bitch, strong powerful head, deep stop with lovely expression, correct bite, broad muzzle, straight front with well laid back shoulders, well sprung ribs with good tuck up, well muscled hindquarters, in fit hard condition, a pleasure to go over, credit to her owners; 2 Berbeck’s Ch Bellarouge Blithe Spirit, r/b mask, cracking head with deep stop, wide skull with dark round eyes, neat ears, good strength of muzzle & underjaw, correct bite, nice square front, good depth of brisket & spring of rib, a little longer in the back than 1st, again strong back end, moved straight with drive both ways, she is a bitch I have always admired, & a great advocate for the breed, just lost out on fitness to 1st today, I thank her owner’s for the privilege of going over her; 3 Trow’s Brizeacks Belive. VB 1 Hirst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Trinity, b/br, what a super veteran in seriously fit condition, would put some of the youngsters to shame. I cannot say anything new on this bitch as she has done it all, got her CC’s had puppies, come back to gain more awards & pick up another CC in veteran.
