I’d like to thank all exhibitors and especially my ring stewards for making a friendly and enjoyable day, overall the quality of the exhibits was very high, with some very good youngsters coming through and was extremely pleased with my overall decisions. 1 Funnell’s Powerpack Tam O’Shanter. Nicely put together b/br of 7 and a half months lovely head for age, beautiful expression, straight wide front, and nicely balanced in body, level topline and moved and handled very well, should have a very good future.

2 Lewis’s Hamason To Be Frank At Karjaydan. 7 month old red, another with a great head shape for one so young showing no exaggerations, nice compact body and good rear quarters, another that the future holds well.

3 Roger’s Berrystock Hawker Fury.

1 Antonio’s Gazstaff’s Man In Black For Antoniostaff. B/br puppy right out of the top drawer, well proportioned head with broad skull dark round eyes and neat ears, distinct stop, straight well boned front with plenty of width and depth of brisket,up on the pasterns, level topline, standing four square, moved very well, Best Puppy and glad to see him take Puppy Terrier Gr 4.

2 Thomas & Griffiths Gazstaffs Black Magic. B/br brother to winner and you can see the resemblance, all the attributes as his brother, just preferred the fitness of the winner, could easily swap places on another day, both should have very good futures.

1 Hillman’s Chalexstaff The Heathen. B/br & white strong well balanced head, correct bite with plenty of underjaw, straight well boned forelegs with good width and depth of chest, level topline, slightly long cast, great bend of stifle moved and handled very well.

2 Briant & Nicholson’s Ballindona Roger. Standard size brindle with a deep through chiselled head piece, neat ears round eyes, short coupled body, just preferred the substance of winner, but still a very good dog with promise.

3 Makin & Porters Waystaff Moon Shine.

1 Rhodes & Pritchard’s Tariel Reaper At Teracota. B/br very clean head shape, well placed dark round eyes, very defined stop with correct length of muzzle, straightest of fronts, nicely ribbed with a short coupling, level topline which he kept on the move, shown in tip top fit condition.

2 Gough’s Manark Made To Measure. Lovely red dog who I’m sure is going to have a good future, closely matching comments as the winner of the class, can easily swap places on any given day, just preferred overall compactness of the 1st.

3 Johnson’s Ellchansha Hotshot.

1 Kendall’s Rossobull Diamond Geezer. Very clean head, lovely expression, well placed shoulders, straight front with good depth of chest, level topline with good bend of stifle, moved well.

2 Thisby’s Taurintaff Fist Of Fury. Standard brindle of a nice type, lovely well placed dark eye, neat ears, super expression, nicely balanced all over. 3 Hunter’s Ellchansha Hotshot.

1 Preston’s Tillcarr Fire Starter JW. B/br & white Super head strong but not exaggerated, neatest of ear carriage and dark well placed round eyes, correct bite with ample underjaw, looked a picture from the front with his deep chest, short coupled body leading to a well muscled back end moved very well.

2 Harkin’s Harkline Conor Mcgreger. Another standard b/br with a lovely head and pleasing expression, stood four square showing good balance, level topline which he held on the move.

3 Heron’s Dilirystaff All The Rage.

1 Johnson’s Ch Tillcarr Fire Coanda JW. What can I say about this young man, he had it all for me today, fitted the standard to a T B/br powerful deep through head, correct length of muzzle to broad skull, neatly placed ears, darkest of eyes, strong tapered neck leading to well laid shoulders, straight front with good bone, from the side profile he looked a picture with his level topline and tuck up in loins, well muscled hams with nicely bent stifle, stood four square, moved really well going and coming, he definitely had the X factor for me, was pleased to award him the CC and BOB and especially pleased to see him placed 2nd in a very strong terrier group.

2 Jordan’s Dazmarnic Know Wot I Mean JW ShCM. Quality red dog, super head and expression, very clean outline, head on he had a straight well boned front with a nice turn of pastern, plenty of depth of brisket, nice spring of rib, level topline with nice coupling, powerful rear quarters moved very well. RCC.

3 Stanway’s Aus Ch Mosstrooper Kentucky Moon.

1 Woodward’s Powerpack A Tisket A Tasket. B/br who stood alone but was placed reserve in a strong limit class, pleasing head, correct bite, round eyes, lovely temperament, moved well.

1 Higgins, Ward & Roge’s Berrystock Miss Firefly. B/br of 7 months, strong but feminine head, correct bite, straight front, nice compact body, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved very well, can see her having a very good future.

2 Gabel’s The World Edition Of Spirit Staffs (ATC AW01745DEU) Another nicely put together b/br puppy, super head and good expression, set off by her dark eyes, just preferred the overall balance of the winner but again can see a very nice future for her.

3 Heron’s Dilirystaff Spirit Of Love.

1 Jones’ Chiswelstaff Black Velvet At Kamaristaff. B/br of quality, well placed round eyes and rose ears, giving a pleasing expression, well placed shoulders, straight front with good depth and width of chest, nicely ribbed for age with a nice tuck up, strong rear quarters, overall nicely balanced, moved well.

2 Stanway’s Waystaff Full Moon. White bitch of 10 and a half months, very well put together, strong but feminine head with a correct bite, well ribbed, level topline with good tailset which she held on the move, a little fidgety today but still showed her quality.

3 Hands & Freeman’s Gazstaffs Black Velvet At Skyestaff.

1 Gabel’s Rnb Of Spirit Staffs (ATC AV02125DEU) Super red bitch shown in fit hard condition, strong in head but still feminine with a lovely dark mask on muzzle, correct bite, well set round eyes and nicely placed rose ears, straightest of fronts with correct amount of width and depth of brisket, from the side she looked a picture with her short coupling and neat tuck in loins, stood four square, moved very well and expertly handled.

2 Lloyd & Williams Dajast Vixen. B/br clean well proportioned balanced head, correct bite with strong well placed teeth, nice spring of rib, short coupled, strong rear end, shown in good condition.

3 Jackson’s Jackabyte Bocouture.

1 Johnson’s Ellchansha Once Upon A Time JW. B/br & white quality bitch shown in super condition, neatest of heads with lovely eye placement, distinct stop with correct bite and good underjaw, straight well boned front, tabletop topline, well ribbed, nicely angulated rear end, moved extremely well.

2 Hunter’s Mournestaffs Magies Leap. Feminine headed bitch, not quite in the same condition as the winner but still has time to mature and harden, still a very appealing bitch though.

1 Johansson’s Te Ora Magic Eclipse (ATC AVO2431SWE). Super B/br who took my eye, beautiful expression, strength of head but still shows her femininity, well placed round dark eyes and rose ears, pronounced stop with short muzzle with ample underjaw, short tapered neck leading to well placed shoulders, straight front with correct turnout at pasterns, shortest of couplings with a nice spring of rib, neatly tucked in loins, great bend of stifle and nicely let down, stood perfectly square, one of the best movers of the day, she is only 20 months of age and still more to come, was pleased to award her the CC.

2 Beesley’s Maxstaff Miss Whizz. A very nice deep red bitch, very strong head but not overdone, nice dark eye, strong in foreface with correct bite, beautiful coat, very good pigmentation, moved well.

3 Funnell’s Powerpack Alura Finvarra JW.

1 Marshallsay’s Fergustaff Tudor Queen JW. A very smart White & Red bitch, short deep through head with correct length of foreface to skull, good reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders, straight well boned front, nice depth of chest, sprung ribs, powerful back end moved like a dream, very well handled.

2 Rowe & South’s Illori Bootie Luv. Lovely headed B/br bitch, very well balanced all over, showing no exagerations, compact body, nice rear end, moved well.

3 Mcdermott & Berhardsson’s Kings And Queens Over The Moon (Imp Swe) JW.

OB (8,2)

1 Rogers’ Berrystock Miss Spitfire. B/br right out the top drawer, beautifully balanced all over from head to tail, best of heads, great expression, strong powerful tapered neck, nicely laid shoulders, straight front with plenty of substance, excellent in body, compact and well muscled rear quarters, moved extremely well and very pleased to award her RCC.

2 Johnson’s Ch Tillcarr Baptism Of Fire JW. Very much similar comments as the winner, was a very close decision, stunning headpiece with a beautiful feminine expression, just preferred the overall substance of the first, short compact body which she moved effortlessly.

3 Hands & Freeman’s Siriustaff Heart Of Glass At Skyestaff.

1 Davies’ Ch Sebsonic Shinealight At Stormbull JW B/br I last judged 8 years ago when awarding her best puppy in breed at richmond, still looks a picture with that divine head, super body shown in great nick, and still moved graciously, wished I had the opportunity to have judged her in her prime.

2 Hirst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Ciara JW ShCM. Gorgeous B/br who showed herself off, super head with the best of fronts with a deep and wide chest, level topline which she held on the move, expertly handled.

3 Turner’s Tidestaff Mystical Magic.

GCDS B (1)

1 Turner’s On The Hill Two At Tidestaff. B/br and white that stood alone, still a young girl, was placed VHC in a strong junior class, pleasant head shape, nicely defined stop, correct bite, well balanced in body, still has plenty of time to mature into a smart bitch.
