WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE BATH 16

West Highland White Terriers

I would like to thank all the exhibitor who entered their dogs & took my decisions so sportingly.

MPD (0).

PD (1)

1 Ash’s Hillcloud Mist, well up to size. Straight front with good bone. Pleasing head. Harsh coat. Moved well.

JD (5,2a)

1 McBean’s Pryorvale Summer Knight, I really liked this young man. Strong male, with excellent shoulder placement. Strong bone, super white harsh jacket. Good head & expression, large teeth, moved well keeping his topline on the move. I will watch his progress with interest, with maturity I am sure he will do very well;

2 Thomson’s Fernsunrise Fairplay to Ashgate, similar type to 1. Strong bone with a good head. Not the coat of 1 & a little unsettled on the move today;

3 Gaydon’s Hopecharm Tony One.

ND (2,1)

1 Stacey & Lloyd’s Charmhela’s Macho Man, nice type who would benefit from a little more weight. Strong head with super bite. Good reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders. Good tailset. Kept his topline on the move.

PGD (2)

1 Szulzycka’s Newvoldemort Al Capone, super type. Excellent head, good reach of neck with good shoulder placement, short coupled, tail bang on top. Excellent coat texture & presentation. Moved straight & true. Pleased to award him CC, BOB;

2 Foster’s Hillsted Masquerade at Thozow, another very good example of the breed with many of the same attributes. Slightly longer cast & not the coat texture of the winner.

LD (4,2)

1 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Nosey Parker, a very nice type with very strong bone. Super head & expression. Ultra harsh coat which must be very hard to present. Level topline which he kept on the move. Considered him for RCC;

2 Gale’s Bocans Bolt to Bellevue, a very different type to 1. This dog scored in hind angulation which he used of the move, covering the ground with ease. Strong head, good reach of neck. Not the coat texture of 1.

OD (4,2)

1 Steemson’s Serb Ch Bogarhazi Zuckini, very nice type. Good reach of neck & shoulder placement. Very short back, short tail bang on top. Good coat texture. Less coat would complete the picture. Pleased to award him RCC;

2 Jennings’ Comdale Johnny Junior, unlucky to meet 1 today. Another nice type with strong bone, strong head with good ear placement;

3 Keely’s Aus Ch Caspersz Chaos In The Night.

VD (1,1).

MPB (2)

1 Ash’s Hillcloud Ocean, just 6 months & still very much a baby. Super shape with good head & lovely feminine expression. Very white jacket of good texture. Moved well. Will watch this young lady with interest;

2 Dunne’s Charosmack Cwick Magic, another young lady with many of the same attributes. When settled she moved well. Looked afraid of nothing & just wanted to do her own thing, giving her handler a very hard time today. I am sure in time she will be a real showgirl.

PB (2)

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Grace And Favour, very well presented as always from this kennel. A very feminine bitch with super expression. Good bite. Would like slightly higher on leg I hope she grows on. Strong backend & very good mover really covering the ground. Pleased to award her BP & to hear she was placed 4th in the Puppy Group;

2 Mitchell’s Frazandmitch The Lords Darling Daughter, larger type than 1 & longer in body. Good coat texture. Moved well.

JB, NB (1,1).

PGB (8)

1 Squires’ Krisma That’s The Spirit, very nice young lady. Very feminine with super expression. Level topline with tail bang on top. Harsh white coat. Well angulated rear covering the ground with ease she topped this class of very nice bitches on movement;

2 Dale’s Lynnsto Issa Star, another very nice type, excellent coat texture, good head properties with lovely expression. Not quite as short coupled as 1. Moved very well;

3 Minett’s Matheron Connex Again with Duskhunter.

LB (4)

1 Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Mystery, a very nice type. Good reach of neck & shoulder placement. Good coat texture. Well presented. Strong well angulated rear. Won this class on movement really covering the ground she looked as if she could go on moving all day. RCC;

2 Gaydon’s Gilbri Dream Maker, another very nice type. Excellent coat texture & presentation. Good bone, straight front. Shorter coupled than winner. I preferred this bitch standing but just lost out to 1 in movement;

3 Squire’ Dashing Devil’s La Diva.

OB (7,2)

1 Roxholm Reign Dance by Bocans, very nice size & substance. Good reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders, short coupled, good tailset. A lovely bitch to go over. More precise trimming would complete the picture. I felt she had far too much coat on the legs. However, on her overall conformation I could not deny her the CC today;

2 Jennings’ Comdale Lovely Molly, a smaller type with many of the same attributes. Very good coat texture & presentation. Feminine head & expression. Another very nice type;

3 Foster’s Thozow Forget Me Not.

VB (1)

1 Foster’s Thozow Sweet Pea, almost 8 years she could certainly teach the younger ones how to move. Excellent coat texture, strong bone, good shoulder placement, lovely head & expression. Perhaps carrying a little too much weight today but a bitch to be proud of showing well & moving with ease as a veteran. Really looked to be enjoying herself.
