WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE PAIGNTON 13

West Highland White Terriers

MPD (4)

1 Lilley & Milling's Krisma Line Dancer at Lilmill, very mature young man who looked a picture stacked. Good head, lovely expression with neat ears & good mouth, in terrific hard crisp white jacket in excellent condition. To be critical I would like a little more animation on the move;

2 Purchon's Lindenka Fraser, have loved this boy from the ringside all year & was not disappointed on going over him here. Excellent head, piercing eyes, excellent strength of muzzle with good bite, in excellent coat & condition. Just showing a little unsettled on the move. Kept himself together enough for his placing here but I just hope he comes through this silly stage as he is a very promising young man;

3 Jennings' Handsome Harry.

PD (0).

JD (4)

1 Squires' Bocans Back In Business, very compact & cobby showy dog, in peak condition with excellent coat, well presented. Lovely outline stacked & held it well on the move, OK in head, good mouth, strong neck & excellent shoulders, level topline & tail on top. Should have a bright future;

2 Dale's Vito Corleone De New Griffindor, very flashy young dog, presented to the minute as always from this kennel. Just not the maturity in body to 1 but has all the essentials to do well. Nice head & expression, neat ears, good bite. Compact in body but would like more substance & bone. Showed very well & movement free & easy all around;

3 Minnett's Biala Osa Navik.

PGD (2)

1 Hughes' Brychdyn Diamond Geezer, yet another short, compact & showy dog, in excellent coat & condition with correct length of jacket, good head, strong muzzle & excellent pigmentation, strongly made neck, good shoulders into shortest of backs, short correctly set tail. Showed a great outline on the move. I would just like a little more of him;

2 Roper's Niroka Breaking Dawn in Jusbar, have seen this dog looking a lot better than he did here, coat not at its best. Nice headed dog who showed free, moved OK but another who seemed a little unsettled by the hall.

LD (7)

1 Thomson's Ashgate US Apollo, wonderfully made strong powerful all male boy, good head & expression, neat ears, strong jaw with excellent mouth, terrific neck into good shoulders & level back with strong rearquarters, in great nick. Movement free & effortless. Just needs a little more maturity to complete the picture. Pushed hard for CC. RCC;

2 Story's Nossimp Written In The Stars, good dog who impressed greatly on the table. Strong head with wicked expression. Very similar attributes to 1 but just didn’t hold himself so well on the move, loosing his outline when in full flow;

3 Purchon's Lindenka Donovan.

OD (4)

1 Fox's Ch Hillsted Same Again, loved this boy the last time I judged him as a puppy so it was great to see he has fulfilled all that early promise & matured into a stunning adult. Everything in the right place with this boy topped off with his excellent showmanship & ring presence & you have a terrific package. CC;

2.Jennings' Comdale Johnny Boy, a young dog I have loved in the ring this year. Disappointed here that he was lacking in body & coat as this spoilt his outline thus he looked unfinished & immature. Having said this he is still a great dog to go over & I am sure when he is in full bloom again he should gain his title;

3 West's Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten.

VD (1)

1 Waldon's Kilmersdons Stanley of Taramount, 71/2 years male, in good coat, nice head & ears, strong boy who enjoyed his day, moved & showed himself to advantage.

MPB (3)

1 Gillot's Lizandycris Tulula, well grown young lady who showed well for one so young, pretty headed girl with a lot to like about her. Coat needs to improve but time & work should do the trick here.

PB (3)

1 Owen's Egremont Seventh Heaven, so well named this lovely young lady stole my heart, well put together & so well balanced, excellent head with wicked expression, strong muzzle & excellent bite with large teeth, perfect length of neck, neat front, strong & level topline & well set tail, showed so well & took my breath away on the move with her free & easy action. One to watch in the future. RCC;

2 Minett's Matheron For’N Affair with Duskhunter, another very promising puppy, just lacking the maturity & finish of 1 here. Nothing to dislike about her just very raw as yet & will no doubt do very well when she is the finished article;

3 Gales' Bellevue Party Popper.

JB (3)

1 Hands' Crinan Calista, nice compact bitch, very nice head, strong muzzle & correct bite, showed herself to advantage here but she just needs a little finishing in trimming & presentation to complete the picture;

2 Rose's Jopeta Kute Krystal, larger type of bitch but still with lots to like about her. Moved & showed very well;

3 Thompson's Peakstones Dalilah.

PGB (10)

Very strong but mixed class with some nice bitches going cardless.

1 Jennings' Comdale Charlie Girl, this young lady really impressed me here & was on the shortlist for the RCC but just didn’t go so well in the challenge. Very elegant bitch with lovely front, good length of neck & level topline, well balanced, in good coat & condition. Should have a bright future;

2 Morton's Brychdyn Carrie On Swifdon, larger & more upright type of bitch, shows herself to full advantage at all times. Nice head & ears, keen expression, compact body, in good coat & condition. Moved well but not as animated as I have seen her in the past;

3 Dale's Lynnsto Ultra Special.

LB (5)

1 Britten's Krisma Storm In A Teacup, beautiful bitch to go over on the table, excellent head with wicked expression, neat ears, excellent mouth & pigmentation, neat front, correct length of neck into well laid shoulders, short level back & short tail carried well. Moved with drive & enthusiasm & never stopped showing. CC, her second, I am sure her third won’t be far away;

2 Edmondson's Pepabby Pirouette, another beautiful bitch, unlucky to meet 1 in such great form. In A1 condition, coat just perfect for length, lovely head & eye, excellent mouth. Another well balanced short backed bitch who never stopped showing. Just needs a little more maturity to finish the picture. Pushed hard for the RCC;

3 Noyce's Maxula Box Of Tricks.

OB (2)

1 Fox's Ch Comdale Miss January at Hillsted, a quality & very worthy ch, lovely head, excellent large teeth & correct bite, compact & strong body, powerful rear angulation which showed on the move. Showed very well here but was just not sparkling here;

2 Lehtonen & Hotenen's Int/Fin/Sw/Est Ch Who’s Hot And Who’s Cold, another very gassy, showy bitch who excels in showmanship. Good head, mouth & pigmentation, in good coat & condition. Would prefer a better front construction as she looks OK on the move but looses her balance when sacked which is a shame.
