WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 25

THREE COUNTIES CH. SHOW 5TH JUNE 2025.
WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIERS.
Thank you to the society for asking me to judge at this show, and to the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to go over some lovely dogs.

MPD(3, 1)

1.Dales, Lynnsto Tommy Gun. 8 months. A well balance puppy with a good head, correct ear set and good mouth housing large teeth. Short coupled, adequate angulation, moved well in side gait but needs time to firm up.

2. Storeys ,Nossimp Fine Beacon of Hope. At just six months he has plenty of time to develop. Good shoulder and hind quarter. Harsh coat beginning to show. Moved okay once he settled into a steady rhythm.

PGD (2)

1. Stankiene &Stankus ,Forest Sprite Whisper Dusk via Vivolunar (Imp Pol) 19mths. Lovely head and expression. Good mouth with large teeth. Well balanced with excellent topline. Good shoulder placement, harsh coat , moved well. Would just like a little bit more of him.

2. Owens Frisbeck Horn Pipe. 2 years. Moved nicely. Good length of thigh giving drive from the rear. Coat quality could be better.

LD. (2)

1. Szulzyckas Querubin New Gryffindor. A lovely dog in stance. Very harsh coat .Well placed shoulder, good neckline. Lovely head ,expression and eye. Correct mouth. Sound in movement but today lacked the enthusiasm exhibited by the top winners.

2. Goodwin Nolans , Mac Too High Ho Silver. A good sized dog who was wearing rather a lot of coat today. Reasonable shoulder but would like more angulation behind. Moved soundly but without a lot of enthusiasm.

OD. (3,1)

1. Fryers Oh Karol Vixan (Imp Pol) into Hopecharm. This dog presents a lovely picture. A good head housing an excellent mouth with beautifully large teeth! A quality coat of good texture and density. Good shoulder placement .Hind angulation giving good drive from behind, combined with his short coupled topline retained in movement, creates a smooth, impressive side gait. CC.

2. Flynn& Helgerson&Croft Elliots. Am Ch. Margie Munro Get Off My Cloud . Excellent outline on the table. A short compact body with a good head and expression and a satisfactory mouth. Very strong neck leading into a short, level topline. A well constructed body covered by a beautifully groomed and presented harsh white coat. Well muscled, but today I felt that he lacked the drive from behind and the fluidity of movement displayed in profile by the winner. Res CC.

MPB.(3,1)

1. Storeys Nossimp Hope of A Fine Future. Just 6 months. A real baby, but so well behaved. Moved round the ring like an experience “shower”! Short coupled, sound fore and aft. Pretty head with good mouth and expression. Everything correctly placed at this stage. Good coat already developing. A very promising puppy. BP.

2. Dales Lynnsto Firecracker. Well balanced bitch with good angulation at the rear. Good straight front. Holds her topline in movement. Harsh coat developing but still a baby.

JB. (2,1)

1. Alans Allengood Star of Winter. 13 months. Well grown for her age, but still needing to develop a more harsh coat. Good shoulder, level topline. Satisfactory mouth. Pretty expression, muzzle could be shorter. Not consistent in movement which made hind action difficult to assess.

PGB (1)

1.Thomsons Hillcloud Echowave by Ashgate. Quite a big girl. Nice expression. Well balanced, nice neck and topline with enough angulation at both ends. Lacking a good undercoat at the moment. R ather “sloppy” in movement today ... I have seen her move better.

LB(1)

1. Steemsons . Still the One I dream of Whisper Dusk by Bocans. A beautiful bitch I loved as a puppy and she did not disappoint today. A well presented coat, lovely head and expression, good mouth and neckline leading into a short level topline. Good hindquarters, sound all round, everything correctly proportioned and in the right place. I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC and BOB, although the dog CC winner did give her a “run for her money” in the BOB challenge. Two beautiful animals of which our breed should be proud.

OB(2)

1. Fryers Gin and Tonic Sunshine Celebration.(Imp Svk).A pleasing picture in stance. Presented in excellent coat and condition. Good head and mouth. Level topline, retained in movement. Good tail set. She won this class on absolute consistency of movement coming and going and in sidegait. Res CC

2. Storeys Ch. Lizandycris The New Hope for Nossimp. Lovely profile. Always shows well for her handler. A very pretty bitch bitch with a typical expression. Always beautifully presented. She has a good head, a compact body and holds a level topline in movement.

Margaret Noyce.
