My thanks to The Fox Terrier Club of Scotland for the invitation to judge at this show, my thanks also to the exhibitors for bringing your lovely dogs on Easter Sunday and accepting my decisions sportingly and to my Stewards who kept the ring running smoothly and efficiently, special thanks to the ladies who catered for their hospitality.
Smooth Fox Terriers
Veteran Dog or Bitch (3:0)
1st & BVIS Henderson’s - Nisyros Absolutely Wicked– 8 year bitch in super coat and condition, clean head and well set ears ears, lovely straight front, good topline and tailset, excellent quarters ad return of second thigh well-muscled throughout, moved well.
2nd Gardiners - Turflindie Trombone at Dawn – 12 year old Dog a quality male of good overall proportions, super long clean head with good ears and expression nice long neck well laid shoulder level topline correct tailset with plenty behind just showing his age in his movement today.
Special untrimmed dog or Bitch (1:0)
1st Cook’s - Ned Ch Zetamaz Cool Dude – Male of Good size and proportions, strong muzzle, good dentition, nice ears, decent front, well-muscled quarters, Good Tailset, moved soundly when at the correct speed.
Special Beginners dog or Bitch (2:0)
1st Henderson’s Finleric Baby Doll -short coupled compact bitch, pretty and clean head and ears, good expression, good length od neck with well laid shoulder, good Substance for size nicely muscled quarters sound mover tail set-on is good but could be carried higher.
2nd Rose’ Kenzduo Snow White – Another puppy with a pretty head and ears, nice expression, good front, a bit rangier than 1st in class but she has time to mature. was a bit awkward with her handler today but settled as the classes went on.
Puppy Dog or Bitch (4:0)
1st BIS & BPIS Anderson and Watt’s - Nisyros Doradus – Very Smart, short coupled dog of lovely proportions and good substance, good clean masculine head with correct backskull and strong muzzle, correct front, long neck well laid back shoulder, well ribbed with short loin, strong level topline, good tailset with plenty behind moved and showed soundly with animation, purpose and drive.

Junior Dog or Bitch (1:0)
1st Smith’s Tamedale Explorer – Every inch a Male, Clean, masculine head with good ears and expression good substance and bone, good front, level topline could be shorter coupled but well muscled, tail bang on top with plenty behind, moves soundly fore and aft and really covers ground when he moves.
Novice Dog or Bitch (4:0)
1st and Best Smooth Bitch - Henderson’s Finleric Snow Quartz – Clean, lean head and well set ears, good expression lovely profile good angulation front and rear, good thick coat moved and showed well.
2nd Smith’s Tamedale Explorer
Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (1:0)
1st Rougvie’s Thunderclap Macarena, Good substance and bone, a sound and animated mover front and rear, strong level topline with tail on top and enough shelf behind.

1st Smith’s Tamedale Charisma - Well made all through with a good clean head piece, long neck. well laid shoulder level topline, a touch heavy in front, but a sound and animated mover.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (2:1)
1st Dickson’s Granddach Razzle Dazzle - 11 years, long lean head with good strength of muzzle and good ears, good neck and shoulder, level topline, tail set on and carried well with enough shelf and in a good harsh jacket could be more animated on the move.
Special untrimmed Dog or Bitch (2:0)
1st McGregor’s Stagwire Amazing Grace - A Really good quality harsh jacket on this one well-muscled quarters with a good stifle bend, a sound animated mover.
2nd Haigh’s Robelroy Dream Trooper – in very heavy coat today, clean head of good proportion and length, good Topline and tailset with a good shelf behind, could have more width behind on the move and was flying her ears today.
Special Beginner Dog or Bitch (4:1)
1st Haigh’s Balquadie Aurelia – Lean, clean head good neck and shoulders short couplings good topline and tailset dressed in a Super harsh jacket.
2nd Fowlers Brocolitia Little Light – Gave her handler a hard time today, nice angulation front and rear good tailset and shelf behind showed well once settled.

1st Haigh’s Balquadie Aurelia
2nd Everard & Fowler’s Aman Wonderlust – In heavy coat of good texture - not cooperating but well made throughout, lovely head and ears good angulation front and rear well set on tail and a good shelf unfortunately she clamped her tail throughout the class.

1st Best wire and RBIS Everard’s -Stagwire Shelby - Smart Bitch with a feminine clean and lean head and good expression long neck good shoulder placement, a shade heavy in the front, short couplings, strong level topline, tail bang on top with a good shelf, well muscled quarters with good return of 2nd thigh and a good stifle bend she moved and showed soundly both ends with animation and drive.

1st and Best Wire Dog - Everard’s Stagwire James Dean - A smart dog head could be a bit cleaner, good ears, good length of neck and well laid shoulder, level topline, tail bang on top with plenty behind, good harsh coat and moved and showed soundly and well.
2nd Dickson’s Granddach Razzle Dazzle
Open Bitch (1:0)
1st Everard’s Lacus Reincarnation – Shown in clipped coat but a quality bitch all through, Super clean head with good ears and expression, beautiful clean front level topline with great tailset and shelf moved and showed soundly and extremely well considering the fright she got just before the class wish she had been presented in good coat.
