PD 1 Walker’s Millvalley Tam O Shanter with Petwalk, red, 6 months & mature for his age, masculine well balanced head with strong powerful jaw & good ear carriage, dark eye & keen expression, long & arched neck, level topline & excellent tailset, tail carried well but needs some tidying, good front assembly with well laid shoulders, lovely outline with good balance of height to length, good spring of rib & decent keel, well angulated rear quarters providing plenty of drive, purposeful mover from all angles, with correct springy gait, good reach & drive, won the class on hind movement over 2. BD; 2 Jones’ Wyaefon Torch Wood, 10 months very mature young red dog with plenty to commend him, wonderful masculine head, strong jaw, dark eye & good ear placement; stunning outline, good lay of shoulder & topline, excellent tailset, good spring of rib, well presented & handled, movement in profile is excellent but needs to tighten behind & this cost him the class. RBD. PGD & OD (0). PB 1 Jones’ Wyaefon Kiss Me Kate, very typical red bitch, coat of good colour & texture, beautiful alert expression, flat skull, dark eye & correct small ears carried well. Would prefer a fraction more length in muzzle. Well proportioned neck, good lay of shoulder & excellent topline, straight front & well angulated rear assembly providing true movement with good springy gait, well presented & handled. RBB & BP. PGB 1 Foskett, Tyrrel & Hunt’s Wilfnbell Princess Perfect, bl/t, nice tan with correct thumbprints on typical head, correct dentition, correct varminty expression, dark eye & well proportioned ears, nice neck & strong muscular well proportioned body, lovely attitude. Would prefer a higher tailset, well handled. OB 1 Small’s Silhill Solitaire of Bethane, lovely red bitch in the pink, classy head of correct proportions & planes, strong jaw, alert expression & dark eye, well set ears, straight front, good length of neck, well laid shoulder leading into level topline kept on the move, movement was correct from all angles with good reach in front & drive from rear, typical springy gait, well handled. BB & BOB; 2 Wyaefon Red Hot ‘N’ Sassy, nice red bitch of correct proportions, clear red coat of correct texture, feminine head, dark eye of correct shape, small well set ears, straight front, good shoulders & level topline with good tail carriage. Did not have the movement or presence of 1. IAN SIMPKINS (Judge)
