FOX WIRE JUDGE BLACKPOOL 23

Many thanks to the committee for kindly inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors for entering their dogs, it was a small but quality entry and I thoroughly enjoyed my judging.

Veteran Dog

1ST Winning Colours at Duchmorn (Miss P Rice) – A very smart masculine 8 year old, presented in excellent clean coat and condition. He was stood alone in the males but certainly made his presence known. Liked his head and expression with dark eye and well placed ears, clean strong teeth. Straight in front, good depth of chest, short back with good tailset, has a good turn of stifle which gave him drive around the ring and very well handled. BD and BV

Junior Bitch

1ST Oh La Kamee Nickers at Duchmorn (Miss P Rice) – A pretty young bitch with the better of coats in this class. Feminine expression with flat skull, could have used her ears to advantage, good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, firm topline, unfortunately just as she was setting off there was an announcement on the loud speaker, which made me jump too, it did startle her but she settled as the class went on. BJ

2ND Vixenview Tina (Mr A Harrison) – Quite a nice head with a small dark eye giving a good expression, well set on ears which she was using, clean neck of good length, but slightly longer in back than 1, moved and handled well.

Yearling Bitch

1ST Ruxleywyre Goddess Brigit (Ms A Murphy) – A promising young bitch, very good for size and all in proportion, she has a feminine head of good length, the tannoy was affecting the use of her ears, she has a super long neck into well laid shoulders, short back and well set on tail, enough depth of chest with well sprung ribs, moved well to win this class.

2ND Brocolitia Aurora (Mrs G Griffiths) - She has a lovely outline, not quite as feminine as 1, has a touch more bone and is slightly more compact, pleasing head shape, flat skull super teeth and dentition, enough length of neck, straight front, good depth of chest, strong topline and excellent tail set, moving a touch wide when going away.

Limit Bitch

1ST Brocolitia Clementia at Ivyjewel (Miss H Roulston) - A promising 15 month youngster, well balanced throughout, lovely head with small v shaped ears carried well above her skull, clean neck, well angulated shoulders, straight front from both front and side profile, good depth of chest and super rear angulation, moved well holding her topline on the move. RBB

Open Bitch

1ST Selvina Isadora (Ms L & Mr D Ford & Burton) - A super bitch presented in tip top order, she has a typical head of even proportions, small dark eye giving a lovely expression, neat well set and used ears, she has a long neck into well laid shoulders, short back and well set on tail, straight front, good depth of chest with well sprung ribs, she moved freely in profile covering the ground well, tru going away and coming towards, was pleased to award her best bitch and BOB
