FOX WIRE BORDER UNION 11 Judge(s) MR A WIGHT BD HANKO V D SCHONEN BERGEN [ATC AL00366DEU] ( Mrs S Lewis) Wire Fox Terriers J (1) 1 Hilton’s Grandpach Panmure Prince, just 9 months, this little bitch needs to grow on a fraction. Pleasing head & eyes, ears a little unsettled, enough neck, well ribbed & quite compact. Harsh jacket but owner needs some guidance in trimming. BP. PGD (1) 1 Freeman’s Craigmancie Celtic Warrior at Wyaye, sturdy hound marked chap with an excellent reach of neck, very good head shape with neat ears & good dark eyes. His coat is harsh to touch, he was well handled & side on his action showed balance. OD (2) 1 Schonenberg’s Hanko von den Schonen Bergen, comfortable CC as stacked, he looks delightful & was of course immaculate in coat preparation. Beautiful neck & backline, well set & carried tail, long, lean head, good eyes & ears & once settled his profile action was good. He is a bit of a handful on the up & down. CC; 2 Coutts’ Brocoloitia Talk Of The North, have judged this nice dog before. Lovely size, not quite the length of neck of 1 but he has a decent head, eyes & expression. Is well ribbed but would benefit from more bend of stifle. His owner had him in tip-top condition & he was well trimmed. RCC. PGB (1) 1 Griffiths’ Brocolitia Miss Dynamite at Starland, would have benefitted from better coat presentation. I liked for size, shape, reach of neck & pleasing head proportions. Her ears are a bit unsettled but she earned this spot with her sound, loose leaded action. RCC. OB (1) 1 Schonenberg’s Hollyday von den Schonen Bergen, I thought her a comfortable BOB winner. So feminine in head, flat skull, little stop, strong muzzle & such neat ears. Her neck has length, is well arched & her back is certainly short, a bit of a handful on the move at times but once she got into her stride her side action was impressive. Presented & handled by Andrew Westwood so looked the part. BOB. ALBERT WIGHT |
