WIRE P (1,0).

1 Wynter’s Flashback Audacity. Lovely, smart, hound marked bitch puppy in her last puppy class. Long, lean head, perfectly proportioned with flat skull and equal length of muzzle, feminine but with strength of jaw. Round, dark eyes full of alertness combined with super ears, well set and used to give a super expression. Lovely neck which flows down over withers and topline to a well set tail. Great front with well laid shoulder, straight forelegs and small round feet. Good depth of body, short back, slight arch to loin, and super rear with plenty behind the tail, length of thigh, well turned stifles and neat, low set hocks. In crisp, wiry jacket, with good texture to beard and legs, presented beautifully she looked a picture and moved with precision, straight and parallel with drive from the hocks and lovely balance. A really promising puppy, I loved her and will follow her progress with interest. BP, BB & BOS.

PG (1,0)

1. Lewis’ Brocolitia Proud Pappa. This three year old dog was not keen on being handled and I forgave him in the class because of the owner’s socialisation problems during covid. However, if he had behaved as he did after I’d awarded him the class, I would not have placed him at all. I had no choice but to withhold further awards which his owner accepted with understanding. His temperament issues need to be tackled before he enters the show ring environment again. He has a masculine head with good strength of jaw, a dark eye and neat, well set ears. A little short in neck and upright in shoulder but good straight forelegs and round feet. Still needs to drop in chest but is short backed with reasonable set of tail. Has good length of thigh and well turned stifles, coat texture could be harsher. He was not happy and not making the best of himself on the move, short stepping in front and lacking drive from the rear.

O (2,1)

1. Wynter’s Ch Robelroy Many Dreams At Furlingfox ShCEx. Classy, smart as paint, top quality, four year old Wire male who instantly impresses for his super balance and typical outline. Masculine head with length, skull and muzzle in equal proportions, good strength of jaw, Super, round, dark eye with cracking, varminty expression, aided by his neat ears, perfectly set and carried. Good length of neck, would like a little more strength but there is a lovely flow down over the withers and short, hard topline to his bang on tailset. Super lay of shoulder with correct upperarm, good fill of chest but still correctly narrow. Straight forelegs and neat, round feet. Good depth of chest, nice spring of rib, short coupled, short backed and great quarters, well muscled, good turn of stifle, length of thigh and super well let down hocks. In great coat, dense, crisp and wiry. Moves out as well as his construction suggests, straight and parallel, forelegs swinging forward in front, driving from behind, flexing those hocks, holding his topline and sound up and down. Super example of the breed and pleased to award him a well deserved BOB over his younger kennelmate who just needs maturity to put in a challenge for the top spot. Well done.
