Wire Fox Terriers

I would like to thank the exhibitors for a super entry. There was only one absent. The entries in the higher classes meant that many good dogs went unplaced.

VD (3)

1 Coutts’ Laurel Boy, this well know 11 years veteran looked good & moved well as he strode round the ring, presented well, in tip-top condition. He was a deserving winner;

2 Rice & Seymour’s Ir Ch Duchmorn Dusty William, another regular, 11 years, in good condition, covered the ground well;

3 Smith’s Lenicka Viking.

PD (1)

1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Free For All, 11 months pup showing great promise, long lean head, dark eye, correct ear carriage, good length of neck into short back, textbook markings, well balanced. Tail spoilt outline. Showed well for his handler, but could have moved better.

JD (1) A.

PGD (6)

1 De Munter & Uiterwijk’s Jazzsinger Van Foliny Home, good head & ears, keen expression, long neck into short back, well balanced, moved well, good presentation. RCC;

2 Schoneberg’s Granit VD Schonenbergen, good strong head, good neck & shoulders, fair back. Moved OK, lost out to 1 on front;

3 Carrera’s Ruffled Joy Special.

1 Renato’s Spark Kevin Magnus, good head & ears, long neck, short back, good jacket, moved well;

2 Schoneberg’s Hugo VD Schonenbergen, well balanced dog of correct size, good head & ears, OK neck, good shoulders, short back. Moved close in front;

3 Smith’s Lenicka Viking Chief.

OD (12)

It was wonderful to see so many good dogs in the ring. This was the norm when I came into the breed.

1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Strike, admired this dog as a puppy & he did not disappoint. A well balanced dog of correct size, long lean head, dark eye, well placed ears with good carriage, long neck into short back, powerful well presented dog, moved well with drive. CC & BOB;

2 O’Donoghue’s Ch Blackdale Exel, heavily marked dog, long lean head, correct ear carriage, long neck, good shoulders, short back, moved well, excellent presentation as always;

3 Browne-Cole’s Travella Set The Trend.

VB (1)

1 Day’s Proveits Once Upon A Time, nearly 8 years & really enjoying her day out, happy to show & moved well.

PB (4)

1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Free ‘N Easy, pretty feminine youngster, good head & ears, long neck, good shoulders, back OK, harsh jacket, moved round the ring with style. BP;

2 North’s Anstars Firecracker, heavily marked bitch, feminine head, good neck & shoulders. Longer cast in back than 1. Moved well, good coat presented well;

3 Hunt’s Dominus Dolly Bird.

JB (2)

1 Browne-Cole’s Travella Star Craft, long lean head, dark eye, good ear carriage, long neck, short back, well set on tail, moved very well, first class presentation. One to watch;

2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Untouched, long lean head, good ears, long neck, short back. Could not match the movement of 1.

PGB (9)

1 Schoneberg’s Cradleydale Alexis, lovely bitch, nice size, good feminine head with varminty expression, long neck into short back, tail on top, moved well, excellent presentation. RCC;

2 Ukraintseva’s Skerli Berenika, up to size for a bitch, good head & ear carriage, powerful neck. A bit heavy in front. Short back, moved well, presented well;

3 North’s Blackdale Chorus.

LB (14)

Wonderful class of quality bitches.

1 Browne-Cole’s Travella Star Choice, lovely bitch, lean head, great expression, longest of necks into short back, moved well;

2 Gehan’s Fyrewyre Brown Sugar, everyone knows I’m a sucker for a ginger & this one has a head to die for, long & lean with a dark eye, best of ears, long neck, very good shoulders, short back, tail bang on top, moved with drive;

3 Magill’s Burrencroft She’s A Hit At Grambrae.

OB (6)

1 Browne-Cole’s Travella Sky’s The Limit, lovely bitch put down perfectly as always by this kennel, long lean head, dark eye, short back, easily won on movement. Unfortunately, unpredictable ear carriage let her down in the challenge for BOB. CC;

2 Schonenberg’s Hollyday VD Schonenberg, good head, long neck, good shoulders, short back, moved well;

3 Ukraintseva’s Rus/Lit/Blr/Ukr/Est/Lit/Bal/Cro/Int Ch Skerlicinia Sky. GCB 1 P Once Upon A Time.
