Best Of Breed/BCC Ford & Burton, Selvina Isadora – Lovely type who is well balanced and presented to perfection. She has a long clean head, a small dark eye and well-placed ears, culminating in a typical expression. Her neck is long and clean and flows into shoulders set at the correct angle and her forelegs are straight onto good feet. Her ribs extend back to a short loin, and she held a firm topline standing and moving with a good tail set. Her quarters are well developed in muscle tone and nicely angulated to low hocks. She moved true both fore and aft and covered the ground effortlessly when viewed from side profile. Dog CC: Hughes & Ford & Duesmann, Slo Ch Alkinra Entertainer JWW – A very sound moving male who excels in front and rear angles with well-conditioned muscle tone. His head is of a good length and flat between his correctly placed ears and his eyes are small and correctly placed to enhance his expression. He has a nicely arched reach of neck into a good front assembly, and he holds a level topline and a correct set on and he was presented in super condition. I preferred the compactness of the bitch for BOB. Res Dog CC: Rice, Winning Colours at Duchmorn – This dog should have been titled when he was in his prime. He projects a super silhouette with his long and clean head, great length of neck, short back with a good tail set and correctly angulated quarters. He has super bone and substance and was presented to an excellent standard. His head is long and clean while retaining masculinity and his eyes are small and well placed as are his ears. He moved true both ways. Res Bitch CC: Wiggins & Westwood, Ch Nethertonion Severina – Outstanding girl who has the most exquisite head that is long and clean with a super expression attributed by her correctly set eyes and ears. Elegant neck into a good forehand, level topline and she carries her ribs well back to a short loin. Her quarter angles are good, and she has low hocks and good feet. She was presented in super condition, and moves true fore and aft, although she didn’t show as well as I have seen her in the past. Best Puppy: Davani, Travella Shockwave - A very promising baby who is rather raw as you would expect at this age. He is well constructed in front and rear; his ribs are carried back to a short loin and he has a good tail set. His head is flat, clean and of a good length and he portrays a typical expression. He holds a level topline standing and moving and was true both fore and aft and presented in super condition. Best Veteran: Rice, Winning Colours at Duchmorn.

2 Johnston, Eskwyre Showdown At Oregill – A favourite of mine who has a super length of head that is flat and clean with well-placed eyes and ears culminating in a typical expression. Correctly angulated front assembly and quarters, super reach of neck and a short level back. He moved soundly both ways, although he didn’t want to be here today and played up to his handler.

1 Roulston & Bradley & Huikeshove, Wyregait Queen Of Gold – Very pretty puppy who has a lovely head and expression, super forehand and carries a level topline with a good tail set. Her quarters are nicely angulated, and her ribs extend back to a short loin. She was presented in good order and moved true both ways.

2 Baldwin, Robelroy Rare Dream – Another promising baby who has a nice head and a typical expression. Her shoulders are set at the desired angle and her topline is level with a good set on. Her quarters are nicely angulated, and she was presented and handled to a high standard, moving true both ways. I preferred the head of 1st.

1 Rice, Oh La Kamee Nickers At Duchmorn - Pretty compact girl who has a lovely head and expression, lengthy neck into shoulders set well back, level topline and well-developed quarters that are nicely angulated. She was presented in super condition and moved soundly fore and aft.

2 Griffiths, Brocolitia Aurora – A nice type who has a good length of head, although she had a tendency to not use her ears. Good forehand, straight forelegs and good feet, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. Moved soundly both ways.

3 North, Anstars Flaming Phoenix.

1 Bentley Blackdale Madam Dancer of Newguild – Decent length of head and enough neck into a good front assembly, level topline and quarters that are well angulated and muscled. She would benefit from finer trimming.
