FOX WIRE EAST OF ENGLAND 13 Judge(s): MR W BROWNE-COLE Wire Fox Terriers Very pleased that the principal winners were very sound which seems to be a problem in the breed at present. With careful breeding this can be improved on. PD (0). JD (2) 1 Bradford’s Flyntwyre Figgy Duff, long clean head, ginger, excellent bite, neat well placed ears, good neck & lay of shoulder, short level back, in good muscletone, moved very well both ways. Just needs tidying to do a lot of winning; 2 Hurst’s Proveits Stormin Norman, pleasing head & ears, well sprung rib. Would prefer better set on. Moved steadily. PGD (1) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Free For All, liked his head & expression, good front, short level back, plenty behind tail, good depth, in the best of coat. Should do very well. RCC. LD (2) 1 Carrera’s Spark Kevin Magnus, long head though could be cleaner. Ample neck, in good coat & condition. Didn’t put all in. OD (2) 1 Carrera’s Ruffled Joy Special, well presented although a little disappointed in the head trim. Up to size male, long punishing head, excellent forehand, short level back, low hocks, in excellent coat & condition, moved so well both ways. CC; 2 Schoneberg’s Zigeunerjunge Vd Schonen Bergen, expertly presented, well made, good set on, in great body condition. Didn’t put all in. PB (1) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Strike A Pose, lovely quality bitch to go over, has all the credentials of going all the way. Just needs time & plenty of road work. BP. JB (2) 1 Anderson’s Proveits Only Way Is Essex, pleasing head & expression. Would prefer better ears. Good body shape, moved steadily. PGB (4) 1 Dipple’s Marvidyne Moonshine, really caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. The most beautiful head trimmed to perfection, well placed shoulders, big ribs, couldn’t stand wrong & a pleasure to see her positive movement. One for the notebook. RCC; 2 Harding’s Beekay Bellissima, pleasing head. Would prefer a darker eye. Well presented, moved steadily. LB (0). OB (2) 1 Nixon’s Willowyre Wish Upon A Star, for me the star of the day. Such a lovely balanced bitch who didn’t stop showing. Gorgeous expressive eyes, ears spot on, the best of shoulders, great hindquarters, in the best of coats, put down to the minute & what a mover. Should make up. CC & BOB; 2 Barker’s Irvonhill Poinsetta, feminine bitch I have always liked. Clean head, neat ears, well ribbed, ample bone. Unfortunately she would not settle in movement but when she does I can see her gaining her title. BILL BROWNE-COLE |
