FOX WIRE EAST OF ENGLAND 16 Judge(s): MRS L SMITH Wire Fox Terriers Unfortunately it rained heavy until midday which made the ring waterlogged. I must thank all of you who helped to move everything to the ring inside the shed. Especially many thanks to my two stewards who made the ring run so smoothly. Congratulation to both my CC winners on gaining their crowns today. PD (3) 1 De Munter-Utterwijk’s Open Fire Van Foliny Home, a promising 8 month puppy, lovely long lean head, good expression with a dark eye & nice ears, good reach of neck with a nice layback of shoulders, short back, strong quarters, moved well for his age. BP; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Point Taken, another nice puppy, head, eyes & ears OK, nice reach of neck, short back, strong quarters, moved OK for a puppy; 3 Bradford’s Flyntwyre Fog On The Tyne. JD (0). PGD (4) 1 Trebovan’s Foxomania Black Jack, long lean head with good expression, dark eye, good reach of neck, short back, moved well; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Sirius Prospect, a heavier type than the winner, head needs to fine down, good reach of neck, short back, good tailset with strong quarters, moved OK; 3 Anderson’s Brocolitia Stage Manager. LD (5,1a) 1 Schoneberg & Wiggins’ Nethertonion Optimist, long lean head with a nice expression, dark eye, good ears, neck OK, short back, could move with more drive; 2 Van Weersch’s Paperman Roadmaster, a heavier dog with a good head, nice ears & expression, short back, would like a better shoulder, up to size; 3 Nixon’s Willowyre Wings Of Steel. OD (5,1) 1 Schoneberg’s Scot vd Schonen Bergen, a nice head with a good expression, dark eye & good ears, nice neck, short back, good tailset with strong quarters, moved OK. CC; 2 Malzoni’s Am Ch Hampton Court’s Machida, lovely long lean head with dark eyes & nice ears, good expression, good bone, nice tailset with strong quarters, not shoulders of winner, moved OK. RCC; 3 Bradford’s Flyntwyre Figgy Duff. PB (0). JB (4,1) 1 Anderson’s Provits Pretty Woman, nice head with a good expression, dark eye, nice ears, lovely reach of neck, shoulders OK, short back, strong quarters, moved OK; 2 Dipple’s Marvidyne Midnight Moon, sweet head with a good expression, dark eye, good ears, short back, lovely coat; 3 Arnold’s Wrapped In Magic. PGB (4) 1 De Munter-Uiterwijk’s Norma Jean Van Foliny Home, a very feminine bitch with a lovely lean head & expression, dark eye, nice ears, good reach of neck sloping into nice layback of shoulders, short back, good tailset with strong quarters, moved very well. RCC; 2 Barrett’s Tyquin Majestic Gem, very much the same as the winner, same remarks apply but a size larger. Two lovely bitches with quality; 3 Newitt’s Wyregait Tiger Lily. LB (6) 1 Moakes’ Jomoaka Tiger Lily, lovely long lean head with dark eye & good ears, good reach of neck, nice layback of shoulders, short back, strong quarters, moved well. Pressed hard for RCC; 2 Barker’s Nethertonion Pendant, smaller compact bitch with a nice head, dark eye, good ears, short back, tail on top, strong quarters, moved OK; 3 Van Weersch’s Warnell’s Magic Touch. OB (7,1) 1 Lilley’s Wyregait Shades Of Silver, outstanding bitch, long lean well chiselled head with a lovely expression, long reach of neck sloping into well laid back shoulders, straight front, short back, tail on top, nice strong quarters, moved with reach of forehand & real drive behind, her movement was a joy to watch from any angle, showed her heart out & could not be denied. CC & BOB; 2 Schoneberg’s Snobell vd Schonen Berg, sweet bitch, nice head with good expression, very compact, short back, moved OK; 3 Malzoni’s Ch Blackdale Julie. LENA SMITH |
