1 Cadez’s Ignas De Cresecques, a very pleasing youngster with coat coming in well, excellent in neck, good skull & foreface. Correct topline & tailset. Moved really well behind & correctly in front. Good feet & pasterns. A very promising youngster. Went on to win RCC & BP.

1 Schoneberg’s Paperman Snowdriver, OK in foreface, good eye & correct ears well carried, good neck but not showing enough body & substance for his age. Good in stifles. Well muscled behind. Could be a bit more positive in front movement.

1 Averis’ Saredon Fair Play, could use his ears better at times, really good in neck. Coat coming on quite well but he was very reluctant to move in his class which was a pity. Good outline & tailset. Correct feet but just wouldn’t get moving properly in the class. Was better in the challenge but didn’t move all that well in front there.

1 Browne-Cole’s Ch Travella Striking Steel, I have reported on this dog before & made him BIS at the Border Union last June so it would be no surprise that he did well today. I have no reason to say anything other than what I said of him then which was: "He is a very dramatic youngster with an excellent head of good length & clean skull. He is really good in neck & topline, correct short back, excellent tail & tail carriage. He moved very truly in front & even with a good deal of hind angulation he also strode out very well behind quite literally never putting a foot wrong – with length of stride & excellent follow through. Correct depth of chest & good rib carried well back. He presented a very good outline both standing & moving.” He won the CC & BOB & went on to win the G1 later in the day & BIS on day 4.

1 Anderson’s Proveits Viola, a very raw baby puppy at just over 7 months & needs time to finish & settle down in lots of ways. Moved really well behind. Bodied up quite well, good neck & coat coming in quite well. Needs to use her ears somewhat better. Good eye & OK in foreface. Needs time.

1 Chads’ Blackdale Angelina at Parkside, very good in foreface. Good neck but could be better in topline. More body than 2 but could move with more conviction. Good in stifle however, & plenty behind the tail. Correct bone & good feet;

2 Cadez’s Hermione De Cresecques, a very pleasing youngster. She was good in head & excellent in neck, good tailset & good stifles. Moved really well behind, but needs just a bit more body to complete the picture.

3. Anderson & Proveits’ Only Way Is Essex.

1 Schoneberg’s Leonie Vd Schonenbergen, a bitch with a very pleasing outline. OK in head, good eye & pleasing in ears. Excellent in neck though lacking coat over the shoulder. Good short body & correct in loin. Moved OK.

OB (6,1)

1 O’Donoghue’s Ir Ch Blackdale Julie, pleasing in head & expression with enough head length & not overdone in skull. Moved pretty well in front & behind where she was well muscled. Good tail & tailset & plenty behind the tail. Excellent neck & good proportions with OK proportions for a bitch & shown with enough coat. Went on to win the BCC;

2 Magill’s Burrencroft She’s A Hit at Grambrae, another pleasing bitch, shown in good coat & condition, good square shape & moved out well both ends. The winner scored in neck. This one was very good in ears, correct in skull & foreface & was good in topline & tailset. RCC;

3 Nixon’s Willowyre Wish Upon A Star.
