FOX WIRE JUDGE MANCHESTER 19

Thank you for an interesting entry, rather marred by absentees. I enjoy judging the breed.

PD (1)

1 Johnston's Eskwyre Showdown At Oregill. Very promising puppy who has quality throughout and is just right for his age, a free mover, short backed and well made, clean in skull and a good eye, excellent temperament. BP.

JD (5 1)

1 Christ & Christ's Blackdale Celtic Warrior. Lovely quality youngster in great coat and presenting an excellent outline, well made with good angulation and some dog behind the tail. Qualityu head and good eye, convincing winner of CC.

2 Hampton & Wynter's Robelroy Many Dreams At Furlongfox. Another very good dog who is not as forward in rib or coat as the winner and consequently looked immaculate in body, but he too should have a good future as he is full of type.

3 Arnold's Wragley Son Of A Gun.

PGD (3, 1)

1 Adshead's Shoalhill To Hot To Handle. 2 yr old who is a touch broad in skull, he is short backed and was in good coat, could have a little more rear angulation.

2 Liston's Brocolitia Showdown. 3 yr old with a cleaner skull, he has a smart outline and good rear action, not the depth of chest of the winner and not in his best coat on the day.

LD (3)

1 & Res CC, Schoneberg's Quirinius v Waldhaus. 2 yr old with clean skull and good length of foreface, in crisp coat, short back and holds a firm topline, I'd prefer a slightly higher tail set, rear movement a touch narrow.

2 Rice's Winning Colours At Duchmourn. 3 yr old, a good headed dog with short compact body, he was presented in good coat, needs a little more rear angulation, tail carriage a little tight.

PB (3, 1)

1 Lilley's Wyregait Shades Of Gold. Almost 12 mths, feminine and with good head and outline, a little erratic on the move and not settled as she was in season. However, she has quality and type.

2 Murphy's Ruxleywyre Reina. 9 mths, heavier type of bitch with strong body and good coat, very good temperament, a little tight in tail.

PGB (3, 2)

1 Rogers' Laketrix Set Course Of Ynysstaff. 18 mths and looks a teenager in body and coat, both she and her handler need some schooling. Head a little short but will be improved with better trimming.

LB (2, 1)

1 Bradley's Aman Beau. 2 yr old bitch who is feminine in head with good eye and ears and has good quarters which she uses well, light in body on the day making her look a little long, has quality.

OB (7, 2)

1 Westwood & Wiggins' Ch Nethertonion Chandalier. Best class of the day. In superb coat and firm body and moving well at both ends. I'd prefer her a little more feminine in skull, holds her topline well. CC and BOB.

2 Calleja & Shembri's Mal Ch Ivram Spot On. Better headed bitch who is very feminine, short bodied and has excellent topline and tail, uses her rear well, not in good coat on the day and that decided this decision on the day. Res CC.

3 Christ & Christ's Lux Ch Ger It Ashgrove Time Lady.
