FOX WIRE SKC OCTOBER 24

OD (4,1)

1 Griffith’s Brocolitia Point Of Fire ShCM ShCEx, smart veteran dog with good proportions of foreface to skull and with length to head. Dark, keen eye and expression, neat ears. Neck slightly arched and well balanced throughout with short strong back and high tail set. Good depth to chest and decent ribbing. True parallel mover, with good drive. Wiry dense jacket. BD, BV and BOS.

2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Pickin A Picture, handsome youngster, again like the length of skull to muzzle ratio and fire in his eye. Clean neck, short level back and lithe and active. Wiry coat and moving parallel. Just needing to body up. RBD.

3 Westwood’s Alpha Vd Schonen Bergen.

PB (2)

1 Everard’s Stagwire A Star Is Born, smart wee soul with a pleasing head for length and dark round eye. She was certainly on the tiptoe of expectation but showed herself better when a little more relaxed, then she looked lovely. Good slope to shoulder, short in back and with elbows where they should be. Super on the move with perpendicular movement. BPB and BP.

2 Fowler’s Stagwire Fair and Sassy, little sister to winner and another nice youngster of stronger build. Head with skull and foreface of similar length and dark eye. Balanced and short backed in wiry coat.

PGB (3,1)

1 Griffiths Brocolitia Aurora, keen and on her toes. Flat skull equidistant to tapering muzzle. Round in eye and good shape to ears. Liked her length of neck and and angulation. Strong and short in back. Decent coat and moved actively.

2 Haigh’s Balquhadie Aurelia, a little finer in head but dark eye and fair length of neck. Liked her body shape and proportions. Dense coat and moved parallel and free.

OB (9,5)

1 O’Donoghue’s Blackdale Show Queen, what a cracker, strong, neat and full of sass. Has length, strength and balance in head, fiery eye and strong in jaw. Clean and well muscled neck with depth to chest. Ribs well sprung and short in the couplings. Powerful rear with angulation matching front. Standing and moving, covers the ground, true and straight. Wiry, dense coat and so smart. BB and BOB, Group 3.

2 Harrison’s Vixenview Tina, attractive bitch of slightly more substance all through but not coarse. Pleasing proportions in both, head and body. Short backed and with strength to rear. Wiry jacket and parallel, steady mover. She just lacked that spark of anticipation today. RBB.
