1ST Alkinra No News Is Good News (Mr D & Ms L Hughes & Ford) – Stood alone today in the male classes, but what a lovely puppy at just 9 months. At the moment he is going through the “teenager” stage and just needs to mature a touch more to see the finished picture. He is right up on his toes, has an excellent length of head, lovely dark eye and expression, a good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, a shot back and well set tail, has a super straight front and his chest needs to drop some more, lovely rear angulation. Was still a touch loose in front, has good drive from behind. Best Dog and Best puppy. Shortlisted in the puppy group.

This was a difficult class to sort out as they are two lovely bitches.

1ST Travella She’s On Fire (Ms C L Davani) – She came into the ring like she was on fire, and as the standard asks for “on the tiptoe of expectation“ and was a bit of a handful at first, she then got into her stride and performed well. Flat skull with well placed, small ears which she was using all the time, has a good length of head of good proportions, dark keen eye, strong mouth with good dentition, a clean and muscular neck into well angulated shoulders, super short back showing and an excellent tailset, has a lovely depth of chest, straight as a die in front and has a very good rear angulation. Coat was thick and of good texture, when she settled she moved freely in profile covering the ground, comes towards parallel and true with drive from behind. Best bitch with BOB, she later went on to win TG2.

2ND Selvina Isadora (Ms L & Mr D Ford & Burton) – A lovely bitch out of the top drawer that I have admired and judged before. Presented beautifully and in super condition, has an excellent head, small dark eye with feminine expression, long neck and good shoulder assembly, lovely spring of rib and depth of brisket, not moving at her best today and seemed to be digging her heels in a bit rather than moving with purpose. Res BB.
