May I thank the Association and Committee for this privilege to Judge their Open Show. My thanks to all exhibitors for their entry, allowing me to go over their dogs and the hard work in preparing them for the show.
Class 1. Puppy Dog (1/0)
1st Mesdames Pearce & Alderâ s, Alkinra Arrow. Good proportioned head, with a dark eye and nice ear set. Good neck and body, short back with good front and rear angulation at 9 months old. Moved very well. Reserve Dog
Class 2. Junior Dog (0/0) None
Class 3. Special Beginner's Dog (1/0)
1st Williamsâ s Alkinra Wizard. Good head with the ears slightly raised. Good neck and good rear angulation and strong mussel. In very good coat and condition, well presented.
Class 4. Special Pet Dog (1/1) Absent
Class 5. Novice Dog (2/1)

1st Dippleâ s Marvidyne Follow The Trend. Powerful head with dark eyes and well placed ears, good neck and short back. Excellent tail set with powerful hind quarters, strong 1st and 2nd thighs. An alert expression, in excellent wiry coat and condition, moved excellently with great drive and with great show presence to take the Best Dog and Best in Show.
2nd Straubinger-Bremarbredâ s Wingwire Helden Potentate. Good long muzzle with a slightly wider head and front than 1st placed, with a small dark eye. Level topline, coat in good condition slightly longer in length. Moved and presented very well.
Class 8. Open Dog (1/1) Absent
Class 9. Veteran Dog Or Bitch (2/0)
1st Smithâ s Lenicka Bright Ideas ShCM. Excellent head, neck and shoulders. Small dark eye and well set ears. Coat in great condition. Moved very well with great drive. Best Veteran in Show
2nd Sutcliffeâ s Marvidyne Magic Rainbow. Good length of head just slightly wide, with good ears. Neck and shoulders slightly wider than 1st placed. Level top line and good tail set. Coat in good condition. Good movement and drive from rear angulation. Preferred the movement of the 1st placed.
Class 10. Puppy Bitch (3/1)
1st Wynterâ s Furlongfox Amber Spyglass. Good narrow head with a dark eye, good ear set, and expression for an 11 month old. Slender neck and shoulders, but still well balanced and proportioned. Better rear angulation than 2nd placed. Moved very well with drive. Best Puppy in Show
2nd Bearyâ s Selvina Betty Boo. Good length of head with a more acceptable width than 1st placed. Slightly larger and brighter eye, with a narrow front. Tail set good but tail curls. Coat in good condition if slightly longer than expected. Moved well. Preferred the movement of the 1st placed.
Class 11. Junior Bitch (2/2) Absent
Class 12. Special Beginner's Bitch (1/0)
1st Wynterâ s Jean De Cresecques Avec Furlongfox (imp) Sh.CM. Very good head in balanced proportion, dark eye, with excellent ears which she used well. Good neck and excellent balanced construction throughout good tail set. Coat in very good condition and well presented. Moved very well. Reserve Best Bitch
Class 13. Special Pet Bitch (1/0)
1st Straubinger-Bremarbredâ s Wealdenwire Muddle. Well-trimmed and presented at 11 yrs old. Slightly wider head and front, with great expression. Good front and rear mussel, moved very well and soundly.
Class 14. Novice Bitch (0/0) None
Class 15. Post-Graduate Bitch (3/1)
1st Wynterâ s Jean De Cresecques Avec Furlongfox (imp) Sh.CM. As previous critique.
2nd Doddsâ s Mcleanwyre Heartlands Girl. Good head and muzzle, dark eye and good ear set. Would have preferred a slightly shorter back. Coat in good condition and wiry, very well presented. Moved very well, preferred the movement of the 1st placed.
Class 16. Limit Bitch (3/1)
1st Dippleâ s Marvidyne Midnight Moon. Excellent head, with dark eyes and well placed ears, good neck and excellent balanced construction throughout. Excellent tail set with powerful hind quarters. Excellent expression, in superb wiry coat and condition, moved with drive but lacked her brotherâ s show presence and alertness in the final. Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show.
2nd Mullaneyâ s Brocolitia Saffron. Very good narrow head and dark eye, slightly shorter muzzle than 1stplaced. Good ear set and good balanced compact body with good depth of chest. Coat in very good condition. Moved very well.

1st Dipple’s – MARVIDYNE FOLLOW THE TREND
Good clean well proportioned head, with a dark eye, well angulated front and rear, good topline and tailset, moved well both ways.
Brownie Beak Memorial Stakes Bitch (Owner bred/handled) (5. 1 absent)
1st Dipple’s – MARVIDYNE MIDNIGHT MOON
Good clean well proportioned head with a dark eye, excellent backend, level topline and good tailset, moved with drive.
2nd Smith’s – LENICKA BRIGHT IDEAS Sh.CM
10 years old, excellent clean head, good ears and eye showing expression, well constructed, and moved well, still excellent for its age.
3rd Dodds’ – MCLEANWYRE HEARTLANDS GIRL
Res Wynter’s – FURLONGFOX AMBER SPYGLASS
Special Stakes Dog or Bitch (6 – 18 months) (4. 2 absent)
1st Wynter’s – FURLONGFOX AMBER SPYGLASS
Good head and expression, good overall balance and construction, moved well.
2nd Pearce & Alder’s – ALKINRA ARROW
Nice head and expression, well angulated front and rear, didn’t move with confidence.
Special Stakes Dog or Bitch (19 – 36 months) (1)
1st Dodds’ – MCLEANWYRE HEARTLANDS GIRL
Good head and eye, clean front, good topline and tailset, well angulated quarters, moved well.
Special Stakes Dog or Bitch (over 36 months) (2)

2nd Sutcliffe & Sturgess’ – MARVIDYNE MAGIC RAINBOW
Strong bitch, straight front, good rear angulation, good topline, moved well with drive from rear.
