A numerically small entry which unfortunately is a sign of the times but those there were quality exhibits and I was pleased with my principal winners.

LD (2,0):

1. Hampton & Wynter’s Robelroy Many Dreams at Furlongfox. What a lovely dog this is. Beautiful head, lovely neck and shoulder into short back and level topline, tail on top, beautifully balanced all through. Shown in great form and handled to perfection by his young owner. At just short of 2 years old he has time on his side and with a bit of luck I would hope he could make the upper house. Res CC. Well done.

2. Dipple’s Marvidyne Follow the Trend. Very honest type, he possesses a good head, neck and shoulder. Slightly longer cast than the winner. Moved well, just lacks animation at times.

OD (3,1):

1. Malzoni & Browne-Cole’s Ch/Travella Laketrix Set To Strike. Stunning dog, excels head, neck and shoulder, excellent coat texture, short back, tail on top, lovely quarters and his movement is exemplary. Pleased to award him CC, BOB & see him later take G1.

PB (1,1)

JB 1. Barratt’s Tyquin Polar Ice. Liked this 16 month old bitch very much. She has a lovely head and ears, good body and tail set, well angulated behind. Unfortunately she was somewhat overwhelmed by the noisy hall and didn’t settle properly to her task which was a shame.

PGB (2,1):

1. Lilley & Smith’s Wyregait Shades of Gold. Very pretty young bitch with beautiful refined head with neat ears. Lovely neck & shoulders, short back, tail on top, moved well. Just needs to develop in body to complete the picture. One to watch.

LB (1,0):

1. Ford & Burton’s Selvina Lady Luck. An honest bitch with a decent head, would prefer smaller eye to improve the expression. Put down in good coat and condition. Moved OK.

OB (4,0):

1. Schoneberg & Kubala’s Stella Z Kuliaru. This bitch has a stunning headpiece, probably the best of the day, good eye giving true expression. Correctly placed ears, good neck and shoulders, short back, well angulated quarters, well presented and showing all the time. Pleased to award her the CC which I found out later was her 3rd. Congratulations.

2. Lilley’s Wyregait Cider with Rosie. Quality up to size bitch, not quite the head of 1. Long neck, good shoulders, longer cast than winner. Presented in very good form, moved and showed well. Res CC.

3. Nixon’s Willowyre Whyte Magic.
