PD (1)

1 Marley’s Lansmar King Of The Celts. Promising youngster of good make and shape. Liked his head piece, good length and a dark eye and keen expression. Clean neck set in well placed shoulders, well sprung ribs for his age and well developed hindquarters. Positive on the move but still only young and needs to tighten in front but still deserved top awards on the day, BPD & Res CC.

PGD (1)

1 Martin & Smyth’s Lynnsto Dark Days. Pleasing sort with a very typical outlook. Balanced head, well set ears and good strength of jaw. Stands on good legs and feet. Well developed body, good depth, short coupled and nicely rounded quarters. Moved well but would just prefer a little more front extension to complete the picture.

OD (5, 2)

1 Anderson & Watt’s Esp Ch Irisblu Big Expectations For Nisyros. Stand out winner, quality exhibit from all angles. Liked his size, built on clean lines and presented to perfection. Very typical in head, keen expression and neat ears. Scores in front assembly, best of legs and feet, straight front, firm body and a good tail set. Strong powerful hindquarters that he uses to advantage on the move. Sound fore and aft and in the best of coats, CC.

2 Martin & Smyth’s Gaelgorm Shades In The Dark. Well put down and confidently handled on the day. Pleasing make and shape and of overall good conformation. Dark eye and the best of expressions. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, level topline that he holds on the move and nicely angulated quarters. Moved well.

3 Walker’s Ir Ch Glenachall Peaky Blinders With Teastasmor Ir Jun Ch. Just a mention for this exhibit, liked him a lot but would not settle at all on the move which cost him on the day.

PB (2)

1 Martin’s Clanclarrai Aria. Cracking puppy who must have a very bright future if she continues to develop on these lines. Compact appearance and was on her toes at all times. Balanced head, good length and the best of expressions. Very clean over the neck and shoulders. Good depth of chest, well sprung ribs for her age and a good bend of stifle. Such a free and powerful mover with great reach and drive, BP & Res CC and pleased to see her win the Terrier Puppy Group.

2 Daly’s Rule By You. Pleasing sort but not as forward as the winner. Of overall good make and shape. Typical in head, good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders and a well developed body for her age. Gave her handler a hard time but once she settled and got into her stride moved well.

JB (2, 1)

1 Daly’s Lansmars Mocking Jay. Balanced young lady, pleasing outline and good strength throughout. Very typical in head with a lovely dark eye and the keenest of expressions. Pleasing front assembly, short coupled and a level firm topline. Very positive on the move, good free stride and pleasing reach and drive.

PGB (1)

1 Bracewell’s Catachgorm Ruby Gem At Croftsblue. Stood alone but a worthy winner. Good size with a feminine outlook but with good strength and an upstanding appearance as the standard asks for. Good head and eye, pleasing front, short backed, good strength of loin and nicely rounded hindquarters. Moved well.

LB (3,2)

1 Martin’s Catachgorm Blue Lady Clanciarrai. Compact and built on clean lines. Balanced head, good length and the best of expressions. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, level topline and a pleasing tail set. Sound on the move both fore and aft. Close up for top honours but could not match her kennel mates attitude and positive movement on the day.

OB (3, 2)

1 Quigg’s Irisblu Violinist. Superb bitch from this top kennel. Powerful throughout and alert and on her toes at all times. Best of heads, darkest of eyes and small neat well set ears. Excellent front assembly, best of legs and feet and good depth of chest. Well developed muscular body, level topline that she holds on the move, good tailset with plenty behind. Powerful quarters wit a good bend of stifle. Moved with great reach and drive really covering the ground. In the best of coats, CC & BOB and pleased to her this was her crowning ticket.
